Specials are so far limited to the highest rated cards (+9.0). It is thus normal that they repeat after cycling through the list.

Is 9.0 the cutoff? Where was that specifically stated?

If that's the case, then TOTEM needs to lower that number, otherwise we're going to be seeing the same 30 or so cards on Special every single week.

totem stated that a new girl would be offered each day and the other special girl offers would be a high rated girl.
This means the program has to have a number to work with--which appears to be 9.0

look at it 2 ways.
1. If you were lucky enough to get a 9.0+ rated card last week then be happy for other members now being able to get that card.
If totem never did repeats it means a card is a one time ever offer and only 300 or 400 people will ever get it on special.
OR
2. Totem can randomize the girls from 1-10. This means you will see card 4, Silver- young bride. Rated 5.79 and her other 3 cards all rated in 6's. They would ge on special for a month.
And limiting the non-top rated girls means when a card like Ariel-red diamond, rated 8.97 is available only 100 people can get her.

Way to do this is to have unlimited quantities of the special girl on offer, offer the new cards for 8 hours each on friday, and on the other 6 days offer a random top card and random other card.

Good post. I agree with everything you just said, although Silver might sell a bit faster on sale. Its hard to resist the special offers.

My current MO is to observe an offer long enough so that I can calculate an approximate time when the offer is fully sold and then log in again at around that time to start tracking the new offer (and of course to also buy it if interessted)

Your system would create a more predictable and stable grid that would allow users to only check once or twice a day to get all cards.

As help to members wondering about cards on special without being able to preview trailers other than new animated overview clips on new model's page, I created the "Specialiciously & Babeliciously.." thread.
The Idea is for we who have & like the cards to write a DESCRIPTIVE summery of the card so others can check one spot and at least get an idea of the aspects of each card. I'd like more folks to write their own descriptions, especially for cards I do not have. I'm not into seeing this thread become a debate/war on babes merits, just enthusiast's recommendations for our brother/sister stripper peekers! I am happy to write my own stuff, it's fun for me, but I'd like to see others doing so too. Don't make me seem so "unique in all the world"! LOL

I think you guys maybe should go in the other direction. A special offer every hour. You would get 24 a day instead of the 4 or 5 you get now. Sure you would miss quite a few but it would take only 21 days to cycle through the entire collection. I think you would get more in the long run than the current system. By extending the time 1 card stays on special means you will have less to choose from, not more. At 5 specials a day it will take 101 days to cycle through the entire collection. 1 special every hour means you would cycle through the whole harem 3 times every 2 months. At 5 a day you only get 3 cycles a year...

What if every half hour. It would take 10 days to cycle through all cards. 3 cycles a month.

Those of us who are maxed out, get a 6 month subscription. You will spend $60 US that is $10 a month. You get 12 cards a month 15 in the months that have 5 weeks. So each card is less than $1.

Fewer cyles = more happy customers

More cycles = customers mad that they have to log in every hour to get a specific card or wait 2 months for it on special again

8 hours for new cards gives everyone a chance to get the new cards.
6 hours for other cards (2 top rated and one random) means everyone has a chance to get either or both of those cards.

Specials should last a few hours at least with unlimited quantities to remain "special". Totem should make sure every member, from 1 card to full collection, has a chance to get a card on special in a reasonable amount of time being offered. Otherwise it is the same as the rat race of logging on every single hour or half hour to catch a card before it runs out.

The specials are a bonus, not a reason. If a store puts red sweaters on special are you going to watch until they put green ones on sale? Because you want a green sweater? No, either you buy the red sweater or wait until you see the green one on sale, if that ever happens. Then you will buy. Its up to every company to put on sale what they cannot get rid of. Customers do not dictate what is on sale. They will put on sale what they want to sell. If you do not want to buy, then do not!

Question to you? Do you want few choices or many? The special offers are special offers. There are many members whom do not have all. You are looking at this from one point of view, yours. What about those who do not?

Buy a subscription, you will spend less money. If you want to spend more that is your problem. You have choices, you need to choose!

If you guys want to pay by tickets, send me your money. I set up an account for you and keep half. You are paying twice as much PAYING BY TICKETS than if you buy a SUBSCRIPTION.
