Unable to complete DOLZ auction and unable to log into Discord to ask for help. Dolz has not replied to my email asking for help. I make an auction bid but when I try to confirm it nothing happens.
Asking for guidance please.

I am not sure what we can do to help. With the bulk of the auction taken place over the weekend, there is no-one from the team on duty to assist.

Have you ever bid before on any Dolz auction or is this your first attempt?

Which level (legendary, epic, rare or limited) were you bidding on?

This is my first. The learning curve has been steep. First I didn't understand the difference between Coin Base and Coin Base Wallet, which are different, so it took forever before I understood how to purchase DOLZ crypto. But after that and after I purchased the crypto necerrary for the gas fee and placed a bid on the auction and at first and for several days Coin Base Wallet wouldn't transfer the gas fee. Finally got that resolved but now, after placing a bid, DOLZ wanted a confirmation, which is supposed to be a simple click on the bar. I confirmed and the bar greyed out. But no bid was placed. And no message was issued. So I don't know what to do.

Here is a Video that shows the Process of Bidding, using the Metamask Wallet.
It should be Similar using the Coinbase Wallet.

1) your Wallet needs to Have the Polygon Network added to it.
2) You need some MATIC to pay the GAS fees
3) You Need enough DOLZ to place your BID(s)


Browse to Dolz.io
If you haven't already created a Dolz.io account that is the 1st thing you will have to do.
Create Account

With your account already created
Navigate to The Current Auction

Select the Rarity Level you want to bid on
Click on the Place New Bid Button

If this is your very 1st time bidding, you 1st have to Approve the Spending of DOLZ and set a Spending Limit
Click on Approve
your Wallet should then Popup where you have to Confirm the Approval

Make Sure the Limit is High enough for the MAX bid you plan to make.
I just use the MAX number of Tokens I have by Clicking the MAX .
This Approval is Done once.

Now you Have to Confirm your BID.
Again your Wallet should Open and you Confirm your BID...

After the Contract is sent and Processed, you will see a Green Progress bar that you Bid has been sent and Procesed.

What if I messed up the Approval and Set too low of a spending Limit?

In this case, you can't Bid...
clicking on the confirm Bid Button will result in Nothing Happening...

In this case you Will Need to REVOKE your Approval and Spending Limit.

go to

Copy your Wallet Address and Paste in the Search Box.
Connect to your Wallet.

Find the DOLZ.io approvals and Revoke them.

After they are revoked
go to Dolz.io
Discconet your Wallet and refresh the Site. ( Shift F5 ) or SHIFT and Click Refresh

ReConnect your Wallet,
do the Approval process again.

I created a Coinbase Wallet and Sent some tokens to it.
so I can show the Process using the CoinBase Wallet.

For the Coinbase Wallet
the process is Similar but a bit Different..

Mainly when you Bid, you can Either Approve Each Bid, then Confirm each bid.
( A New Spending Limit is created each time you Bid. and you pay a small gas fee again.)
Or
When you go to Bid, Put in a High Bid Amount ( this will be your Spending Limit One Gas fee for the High Spending Limit)
Approve this bid Amount.... But Don't CONFIRM it...

Now Adjust the Bid to the Lower amount you want to bid...
Then Click on Confirm..

Now CoinBase Wallet will now Lower your Spending limit with each bid you make.
you Won't have to do the Two Step process of Approve Each bid, then Confirm Each bid....

Note:
in your Browser, if you have more than ONE wallet extension installed.
You Have to go the Extension manager, and Disable the Wallet(s) you are NOT using..

Otherwise you can have issues making bids.
The Wallet may Not Popup, because of conflicting wallet extensions..

Switching Between different Wallets
Disable the Wallet or Wallets not currently being used
Refresh the Dolz.io site.

So I watched the first video you referenced and then went to the DOLZ.io website and found my account in the top right corner and it states that I have a Zero DOLZ balance! But there is not transaction in the Wallet's records. I had about $80 or so. So as a test I had the wallet convert a small some into DOLZ again and this time the entire total from all transactions was showing. So the app seems buggy. However, I closed the DOLZ website tab and opened it up again and now it is once again showing a zero DOLZ balance! How can I correct this? It is quite concerning.

After you Connet your wallet
you Might have to refresh the Dolz.io Page so it gets the Data from your Wallet.
Shift F5 or SHIFT refresh

At first my Balances show as Nan

at the 1:00 minute mark you will see it.

it doesn't affect the Approval or Bid Process.. as it is just a display error.

After Confirming that 1st bid, the Page was refreshed.
at 2:15 you can see the Balances are now displayed.

Hmmm - Third auction and I seem to be having lots of problems with bidding. It seems to fail at the approval phase. 1st auction was perfectly smooth.

I second Calgon's observation. No issues, apart from the display error Wyldanimal identified, until the Confirm your bid step. Which won't perform.

I just spoke with Coinbase and they reviewed this and determined that the issue is on the DOLZ end of the transaction so I am asking for help to get in contact with someone since I am unable to log into Discord.

I was getting the approval request but when I clicked on it the system just didn't do anything.

How to find your Public Wallet id ( wallet address )
In Coinbase
you click at the top right on the Two Squares Icon ( copy to clipboard)
then pick the Ethererm or Polygon Network ( they use the same address )

Also very Important for the Auctions.
You Have to Make sure you Switch from the Ethereum Network to the Polygon Network
Other wise you can't confirm your Actions.
and your Wallet Balances will show as Zero

1) you must be connected to the Dapp before you can switch networks
Dolz.io is a Dapp.
2) After you are connected, then you can switch networks.

In this video I show that when you are browsing a NOT connected Network,
you can't see the Switch Networks control in coinbase
you must 1st be connected to a Dapp. I connect to Dolz.io
Then I can switch from the Ethereum Network to the PolyGon Network.

If Coinbase is connected to the Dapp, but using the wrong Network
your Balances might show as Zero.
( you don't own any MATIC or DOLZ on the Ethereum Network )

You Have to Switch to the Polygon Network.

Also, if your Wallet is on the wrong network,
you won't be able to confirm your Bids or Edits.

I found a bit of a work around. Was able to purchase a card from the OpenSea site which transferred to my wallet and then was seen by iStripper. I sure hope the hangup with DOLZ can be identified soon.
