Does anyone know the reasoning/logic/programming/wtvr behind the flash sales & previews? I keep getting the same girls, again and again, which I don't want even if they were free... Are flash sales the same for everyone or do they vary from user to user? If it's the last case, I guess there must be something wrong with the algorithm. I have hundreds of cards on my wishlist, and a fair number of disabled/ignored ones and lately I only get previews of the same cards, again and again, and flashsales for cards I've blacklisted... I won't be spending any credits on cards just because they are on sale. Might as well send something on my wishlist my way, once in a while...

About 2 years ago I wrote directly to the customer service about the same problem. They told me "Demo behavior should be reviewed soon". I also explained that the random algorythm was certainly inefficient as it often replays the same preview many times in the same day. Many cards almost never replay after they were released.

I have hundreds of cards on my wishlist, and a fair number of disabled/ignored ones and lately I only get previews of the same cards, again and again, and flashsales for cards I've blacklisted... I won't be spending any credits on cards just because they are on sale.

I've tried increasing the preview rate (Free Preview Push) to every 10 minutes but it is just playing more often the same previews. As you said even disabled previews comes out but they don't play of course.

So it seems to me that nothing has been done to change this behavior in 2 years.

I have it set to refresh after 10 mins precisely to try to get them to rotate more often and get something new in the meantime, to no avail.

The application could use the collection and wishlist of the user to extract statistics on user's preferences and plays previews accordingly.

I think you are right, and there should be a way for the user to set this.

I am thinking a litte different (one of my quirks!)

Totem knows what we have in our collection, I am surprised that the program doesn't use this information to choose which girls to list.

Example:
If I have women with hair color A, and I ***** women with hair color B,
then Totem could use this information to promote what I like, this would push me to buy more?

or do they already do this!!!! Maybe Belka and Kristina are looking in my window at this very moment!!!!

The preview cards are selected from the highest rated cards you do not own. Roughly ... if you were to buy all the 4.6 rated cards you would get the 4.5 rated cards. There is probably some bias for newer cards too i guess but have never tested.

Whatever the way it works right now, it doesn't do a very good job and it needs to be updated.

I get Melena Maria, Katya Clover, Tracy smile, Niemira and Melissa on the free previews 80% of the time, I have it set to 10 min. I have 529 cards on my wishlist, and I always seem to get the same models on the previews.
Somtimes I'll get a 2021 Crystal Clear+ show, and Ill take it, but it happens every once in a while.
I would think it's set to NOT put on sale the cards you wishlisted, otherwise you would finish your collection too quick, so the preview keeps pushing the older cards with higher ratings, thinking that we might like them enough to buy em.
But yeah, it needs to change

J'ai 529 cartes sur ma liste de souhaits, et je semble toujours avoir les mêmes modèles sur les aperçus 80 % du temps, parfois j'obtiendrai un spectacle Crystal Clear + 2021, et je le prendrai, mais cela arrivera de temps en temps .
Je pense qu'il est configuré pour ne PAS mettre en vente les cartes que vous avez listées, sinon vous termineriez votre collection trop rapidement, donc l'aperçu continue de pousser les anciennes cartes avec des notes plus élevées, pensant que nous décevrons les aimer suffisamment pour les acheter.
Mais oui, il faut que ça change

I don't think the previews have anything to do with wishlist.

They are presented in descending order of the rating. I'm currently getting card rated 4.63 so next I will get cards rated 4.62.

There is a minimum required rating so anything below wont show in the preview. Once all the cards at that rating have been previewed. The rotation starts at the top rated cards and starts counting down again.

The minimum does change slightly in my case; my guess it this minimum rating is based on your collection but not sure how. My minimum is around 4.5 last I noticed.

New cards are skipped so cards that aren't at least 30 days old wont show up.

They are presented in descending order of the rating. I'm currently getting card rated 4.63 so next I will get cards rated 4.62.

What would be the marketing purpose of playing them in descending order instead of randomly?

Read my text, from what I've learned:

• if you want something to change, change the algorithm and buy few flash sale cards from what you may like. The taste is changing.
• not all the cards at one model will be flash sale.
• the flash sale cards are from all, even from your wishlist.
• the flash sale cards are changing for sure after a week or more.
• the flash sale cards depend on your membership: at fresh member you get 20-25 % sale, at triple diamonds you get 10-15% sale.
• very rare you get the new cards that are one month old at flash sale.
• buy the Premium upgrade to have 4k cards and the new cards at 20% sale.

I know more, but some algorithms don't work anymore or are too rare.
Sometime I play the minigames where I can change the cards that I don't like.

Some of the flash sale cards are changing, most of them aren't.
Would there be over 50% of them altered frequently, that would be an improvement.
It's just a marketing question.

Totally support this. I’ve written about this several times here in the forum (but always was ignored), my experience as well, always the same models are offered to me in flash sales, even ones that I don’t even own a card from and dislike (or from which I only own 1 card due to a cheap promotion). Best example being Melisa, which I get offered at least 5 times a day, sometimes even 3 times in an hour, although I don’t own any card of her (probably the algorithm thinks the pole-dancing-skills-tag fits, but hey, this tag only is true for her super old numbers, not most of her later stuff). So yeah, the algorithm definitely needs a LOT of work, also for the offers in the promotions (you can see that they are geared to your wishlist and cards you own, but most of them rely on stupid data like casual buys). So, best advice from me, orientate your algorithm on the cards that we REALLY buy from the STORE first, and please let us ignore some girls we absolutely don’t like. Or at least offer us girls that we don’t like for super cheap (you know, when the price range at some point equals the dislike factor we might get tempted to buy the card nevertheless from a collector’s standpoint).

JUST my experience, exactly those same models. Especially Tracy Smile, I absolutely don’t know why I always get her as a flash sale (I only own 1 card from 2 years ago, bought as an error kind of). It's boring the hell out of me.

And for the other advices, yes, I’ve bought cards from flash sales that I liked sometimes, and also a lot of cards from promotions, but much more from the cashback stuff, even some directly when they were released, yet VERY little changes for the flash sales over time (about 2 years), seriously.

@rhea - Yeah I'm myself very fed up to see Melisa all day long in the preview playlist and often in flash sales. I've bought many cards from her 2010 series but I'm not interested at all in her 2015 series. Alexa Tomas is showing all day in the preview playlist and flash sales even though I've never bought a single card from her.

The marketing team might not agree on this but I would prefer the flash sales to be announced only when starting to play on screen and the timer starting from there. All shows being longer than 10 minutes, most flash sales are missed out if we don't keep an eye on the playlist.

I also think that shows released in the last 30 days should be included in the preview playlist but not in flash sales.

From what I understand, the 100 highest rated cards (at least 30 days old) you don't own are pushed over and over again. For me it goes down to around 4.58 or 4.57 before starting at the top again. I don't use it anymore because you waste a lot of time just for a few cards out of a hundred you're interested in.

I suggested in that thread that disabling previews to stop them from being pushed again in the loop would allow other (lower rated) cards to be included. It seems Totem doesn't think it's worth changing the current system.

Ditto for the games like the Progressive Redraw that started today. I bought a lot of them for awhile but now it's to the point that, with this current Progressive Redraw, I had no keepers on the first draw and after five redraws i might have had six keepers and those were not ones I liked overwhelmingly, just ones that were better than most of what was coming.

There are a lot of older cards with girls who are attractive to me but they don't come up on the previews or games. It's better that I keep notes on who they are and when the credit back specials on four or five downloads come along, I rack up then.

Not only those disabled previews are being pushed again, they keep being downloaded if you delete their files. So you're stuck with their files even though you're not interested in those cards.
