The main stream media is bad at slandering people they dont like. look up the recent kyle rittenhouse case they did him bad. 1 of the news networks went after the jury and got busted. the msm slanderd the judge. the prosicutors was basicaly helping the defence. The case should of never went to trial. It was all political the msm slandered the poor kid calling him a racist etc for protecting himself with a fire arm dearing a riot were it was all on video.

So, maybe an year or a couple of years ago the community manager or whoever told they to do so, posted a topic with a simple question: "What are your thoughts on NFTs?", triggering a massive number of negative comments that immediately recieved the question as a nod for what is now revealed as a reality, with almost the totality of people being clearly against the idea of something like NFTs ever happening in here. It's still an optional addition, sure, but it's something that no one wanted, and was still ***** on. Like, literally no one seemed into it for so many reasons.

My quick realization after this is that Totem didn't truly needed or wanted any kind of specific feedback from the community, and the opportunity was too juicy to sleep on it.

So, maybe an year or a couple of years ago the community manager or whoever told they to do so, posted a topic with a simple question: "What are your thoughts on NFTs?" ....

I hope the users here vote with their wallets, personally I stopped giving money to Totem when they introduced the soft paywall which they decided to hide some of the cards behind, it's quite obvious that enough customers didn't care and continued paying through the nose to try and get special cards, which is why it's continued and will continue to get worse.

Le business des SECs avec le gaming et le trading avec les NFTs intéressent du monde, perso ce n'est pas ma tasse de thé mais je suis plutôt satisfait qu'une société française utilise la technologie blockchain pour de la certification de produits artistiques.

I have not posted in awhile but I couldn't pass this up. NFT's are definately not scams as you say, now of course companies are out there that will use it as an excuse to sell the same item for a higher price but that aside the NFT system brings in ownership again of digital items which means the purchaser can sell and trade as though they are physical items. For many years now whenever you purchase a digital product the agreement is worded in such a way as to preclude ownership of said item you are only purchasing a license to use said product within prescribed limits. NFTs can change this, now having said that can this tech be ***** by companies, of course it can, just as any tech can be *****. But I am looking forward to seeing what this tech brings, not for this specific product mind you but use of the tech will mature it which I am all for!

I have always been surprised by those who object to something extra being offered even though it has no effect on them if they simply ignore it. They might as well object to the same things being offered by a totally different company.

I am not very fond of the new technological trends : NFT + crypto currency. Especially when they are both associated.
Even a bit worry when the crypto currency is not among the main 35 active ones.

But it is also something new and even Sotheby's sells NFT that you can pay with cryptos...
It is understandable that a company wishes to do some experiments with this concept. After all, if a company like Totem - specialized in digital products -, does not try, it would be like a baker not willing to create a new type of bread when receiving a new flour.

And I have a technical question:
… Ok, you buy a trading card, certified with a blockchain.
… And, if I understand well, it is your sole property. You own it 100%.
Problem: you can only see this card through the client software, and this viewer decrypts the video files (clips) that are encoded with Totem's proprietary format.

How a customer who owns a NFT card for (theoretically) an eternity, can enjoy it/view it, without being trapped with the proprietary format and the client viewer (that can disappear as soon as a company says good bye)?
