Cards produced there costed us twice as much, we lost money on every sigle of them, we could not fix all the technical issues and the quality of the girls increased at the end because we started to pay them way more, expecting for the sales to follow, but that did not happen.
If Totem have lost money on every card made in America I do not expect them to be keen on repeating the experiment.

Unfortunately, I have to agree with @TheEmu on this idea. In my opinion the main problem was with the technical problems that the USA crew could not overcome. Also going after the American "porn stars" exclusively. If the technical problems were corrected and recruitment of models that are just getting in the business were given a higher priority, the Vegas studio could have been sucessful. Porn stars wouldn't be recruited as much for shows. The Vegas location was perfect for a studio (a second studio in Miami ??) to keep the travel costs down.
What could have been................

It's a shame there is no US pornstar in the software.
I just had to check in my collection to see how many cards by "US Stars"............
Well there are 167 cards by "US Stars" in the collection

I just had to check in my collection to see how many cards by "US Stars"............
Well there are 167 cards by "US Stars" in the collection
The "US Stars" category tag only seems to have been used between 2015 and 2017 (which I think is the time the US studio was operating) but there have been cards before and since that feature US performers. According to the xml files I have 266 cards featuring US models.

Just some thoughts....
I do agree that it would be awesome to get more American women into the collection in the same way I'd want that badly for European women if the roles were reversed. However, there are several issues to make that happen-
1) Like stated above, it IS more expensive to produce content here. Nevada, Florida, Illinois and California are super expensive. Of the four, my advice would be Florida because there are an abundance of agencies down there already doing model shoots (versus CAL and NV which are more porn shoots). Another option would be Toronto, CA.
2) I would do NOTHING right now in America due to Covid-19. We simply aren't taking it seriously enough here (well....40% of us aren't!) and it's just too risky to come here until we do. That likely (God willing) will be January of 2021.
3) I'm sure they WANT American models and when they're overseas they likely try to book them. That ALSO is on hold right now as Americans are barred from entering most European countries....as we should be.
Again, good idea and I'd love to see it myself but unfortunately will have to wait until 2021.
