At 153 scratches, 2x500 credit reloads later a bunch of credit won (but put back in the system), a SEC won that I didn't actually scratch off, and a bunch of cards I will be hiding with the handy new hide feature, good job team. Its pretty bad when the product's sheep actually looks around and says something not right here.....😢

Ive done 1 500 reload in my 220 scratch tickets bought. But after 220 games is it even worth it to keep trying? Sigh. Everyone else has grabbed it in under 100. Im at 220. What does totem even say to this? This feels like highway robbery on my part.

I saw that too, but then the game works different as advertised.
Have you experienced someone else in the past few months / year? Something is always stuck in these oh so great games of chance. And then again a damn SEC every month. Congratulations totem, with this crap you become more and more unappealing to me. 😠

Maybe we need a re-branding then, instead of 'Special Event Cards' call them 'Exclusive Cards'?
For sure. They will then alternate every two weeks. In the second week of each month an "ExC" and, as has been the case for six months now, every fourth week an "SEC". Good day too ... 😐

@etheralspiral do you se how many cards you have in the girls store about 2815 cards in reserve well the system has that many cards to draw apon plus the 20credits & what ever to draw apon enjoy... Happy Easter

But this is for the SEC specificially. Ive pulled 2 other SEC's from the 2 cards option. Ive gotten 200 credits/100 credits multiple times. But getting -1- event card? Impossible.

220 cards x 20 credits is 4400 credits. Is any single card worth 4400 credits? Do the other cards even matter at this point? Id have rather have had you gouge me for 500 credits for the SEC and leave it at that.

At this rate its cheaper for me to start a second account, purchase the year for the free joker and get the SEC with the free joker and just log into that account to see the card then to spend 100, 150, 200 dollars on a card Im not even guarenteed to ever pull. There's no pity, I could hit 1000 scratch cards and never see it. It's not like we can get jokers from this event either. Im triple diamond, I have most of the cards I wanted already. So Im just throwing bad credits after bad credits.

Has anyone else spent 4400 credits to not get the event card yet?

Can someone from the team answer this - The panel card say A special event card. Is winning only limited to a SEC 1 time or say if I had unlimited number of credits all SEC can be aqcuired from this one game. I know the game has glitches so im wondering if the people winning multiple SECs are glitches or is that by design.

Just forget it. Ill take it as Ive spent 5k credits on this event, I got 3 SECs. I didnt get the SEC from this event.

Final word. SECs are expensive. You can win any SEC from this event. Good luck, god speed and dont gamble.

That might be true, but SEC and normal cards are two differnt win conditions, Odds of winning 2 normal cards you like (3 2Card icons) come from your unpurchased card pool and a SEC (3 SEC Icons) comes from your unpurchased SEC card pool

The question rather is one of how likely is it too scratch the win condition for SEC (3 SEC icons), and how likely its is you will scratch the win condition for 2 random cards (3 2card icons)

Once upon a time, the scratch game was 10 credits per game and the odds were almost like 3 to 1 or 4 to 1, in the end I lost credits, but... got not only the special cards but the cards I wanted
(from P2P selection)

Now...Either the odds are set to 5 to 1, 6 to 1 or more because...(even for myself, who doesn't ***** much) This game seems rigged to keep the new special card, but make you pay more until you are completly cleared out with none of the cards you wanted when you get cleared out
(Ignoring P2P on IStripper Computer Application)

It is very dishearting to have to ignore a once great game....sigh....-_-

Oh...

And, @celine
I won two cards, however...I wasn't credited for the seconds card, it gave me a blank (No Card), even though...I have cards in the "Girls Store"
(it came up "https://istripper.com/model/show";; only for the blank card)

Here is the Photo showing the mistake, IF it shows, though...

Agreed...Concidering the "Blank Spots" are 10 credits, and no where in the rules does it state "blanks" are 10 credits.

Geez....-_-

Hello,

Want to point out. We don't know how many people have won. If a person won they are less likely to ***** here. Also, why spend so many credits? If you think/believe it's a scam and you are not winning. Stop. Instead of spending 200 credits do forty to 120. Just a suggestion.

I think I was the first to mention the 10 credit wins and the blank symbols. A few hours later, well after a Totem team member posted a reply saying that they may adjust matters, I quit the app, restarted it, and played the scratch card game again. After doing that I have not seen any blank symbols and I also very quickly won both 100 credits and the new SEC. Since then, playing intermittently, I have won more credits than I have spent. I seem to win something, though mostly of course only the 20 credit break even, rather more often than winning nothing so the occassional 100 credit win has left me slightly in profit since I restarted the app. Before that I had lost significantly (and had stopped playing when I reached my pre-imposed limit).

Every time I see someone post that they "spent 2000 credits and I still didn't get the SEC!" or that "It took me 3500 credits and two reloads to finally ge the SEC!" all I can think is "THIS IS WHY TOTEM DOES THIS." Congrats on reinforcing their predatory business model.

Don't get me wrong, If you want to spend the money, go for it. Just don't spend it and then come on here ***** about it.

In the UK all gambling sites and TV advertising carry the above message from a campaign created by The Senet Group, an independent body set up to promote responsible gambling standards.

Unfortunately the logo is missing from iStripper but on the website it recommends the following

HOW TO STAY IN CONTROL OF YOUR GAMBLING

Set your limits at the start
Only bet what you can afford
Never chase your losses
Don't bet if you're getting angry
Never put betting before your mates

Nobody has put a gun to your head or is holding your family ***** to make you play these games. Keep it fun.

You're right @gkar45 - they have lost their lustre. There is nothing special about most of these cards.

And for as long as we are prepared to drop a s***load of credits trying to win one, then Totem will continue to drive that behaviour and put the SEC behind the wall. For Totem to change their behaviour ,we have to change ours first.

There is nothing special about any of these cards. They are just artifically expensive.

one word: scam

A scam requires that deception is involved. There is no deception, hence there can be no scam - though the term rip-off could perhaps be justified, as could overly-expensive. I don't like them and disapprove of them, but neither that nor their expense makes them a scam.

I disagree with the statement that special event cards are not scams. Totem is not clear about whether the cards are actually special unless I am missing some disclaimer and therefore people, especially months ago would have spent many dollars thinking they were getting a special card. Totem has been known for "hiding" the contents in a card in order to increase sales, hence the reason we still have such a poor review system and a very poor tagging systems relative to other erotica services. Totem also has been less than honest when certain activities occur in picture sets and not in the show. Totem is not honest about bugs in cards and which cards have faulty quality, and often charge full price for these cards. Totem does give great discounts, totem does not employ the special event cards very often but they certainly take advantage of vulnerable customers through this process. If it keeps them in business and improves the product I guess we can view it as charity.

The definitions of scam in all the dictionaries that I have checked make it abundantly clear that what Totem are doing is not a scam. It may be regarded as resembling a scam or as unfairly taking advantage, but that is a different matter. Unlike Humpty Dumpty we are not free to say “When I use a word,it means just what I choose it to mean—neither more nor less.” Nothing that Totem have done in offering the SECs is either fraudulent or deceptive. The cards have not been called Special Cards by Totem.

They are clear, because the cards are not special and Totem said that. You get the cards through a 'Special Event'. That's the 'special'.

The legality of using games of chance to take money from people while there is chance you do not offer a service is still in question. The EU is currently discussing whether lootboxes and other gambling services should be allowed in different forms of software. There are times when a participant pays credits and does not receive any service.

Looking at the picture above we see that there certainly is a pattern where totem gives the impression that a card is "special".
  • 2 christmas cards
  • 2 dominatrex cards
  • Red fox special outfit
  • The first duo in a long time
  • A card with a shopping prop
  • Roller blade card

Level-headed and experienced buyers on istripper might still think that some of these offer unique content other than a bag, or a roller-blade, or a whip. Those of us who have some of the card now know that the cards are nothing special, and are consistent with cards that cost us $1. I could not find any instance of totem explicity making it known that these cards are not special from the other cards. Therefore they are using a gambling system that rides the line of legal, while giving the impression that special event cards are special, when they are not special, except for in their exorbinant cost.

I do not necessarily disagree with their business plan. It only works because collectors are vulnerable and easy to *****. There is responsibility on that side to make a decision that $500 is too much for a single card. But to say that it isn't a scam at all isn't clear to me.

We know that there are buyers who spend many hundreds of dollars for a single card. A investigator or psychologist would have to conclude that these people are likely of similar mind to those who might give money to an email or online scam. It is possible for a person to spend $500 and not receive the special event card that they desire...to me this is similar to any email or online scam.

I want to be clear...I love totem as a business. They produce my favorite entertainment software and have always been respectful and generous with me as I with them. I have ***** that they are going to struggle through the end of this year and I am grateful that they have a source of income that is not related to producing new cards. But...I also can't feel morally positive with how they use the gambling and special event features. But it is also a porn software and so the morality is *****.

That I agree with - but "similar to a scam" is not the same as "is a scam". If there really was a scam involved then Totem would be subject to prosecution for fraud.

I know I got lucky with this game, but also wanted to say that it is possible to do so: got 64 cards, a number of 20, 100 and one 200 wins, a number of cards I don't really need, but also the two SECs I was after (Stacey and Ellie, the ones I was missing) and came out with just 20 credits less than when I started. Really good deal for me, obv. And just wanted to say that so it's clear that the game is not rigged, from my experience. It's just, you get lucky, or you don't. And I am done now. Thanks, totem.
