Interesting question. I hope they will answer it.
My personal opinion is that the cashback offer gives you back credits spent on each 4th card. "Paying" for the 4th one with a Joker, you wouldn't spend any credit, so I think you would also be given nothing in return. But, who knows...

This is a sad news for me. I am a new user, yesterday in a day time, I bought more than 130 CARDS, but today began the discount, can you give me some credits? You can check my purchase record. My heart is broken. I feel I'm realy not a lucky man now.😭

It seems quite clear to me that the VR shows are not incuded. They are not cards nor are they on either the Store or Featured tab (which refers to the various carousels on that tab).

I bought 6 cards in a row without any cashback. Does the cashback really apply to the latest cards ( the last 45 days or so) ? I had no trouble with cashback on older cards.

Cashback should apply to latest cards too, it did with past cashback offers. I've also had an issue with a card being charged despite being shown as reimbursed in my account history. I've already opened a ticket with customer service, waiting for their response; since it's the weekend, they are probably unavailable.

That is how it worked last time - as the name implies it was, and is, a "cashback", not a "buy three get one free" offer. Last time you had to pay for the fourth card and then get the credits refunded. This meant that the account history, quite correctly, showed the credits being taken. It also meant that if you did not have enough credits to pay for the fourth card you could not buy it until you first topped up your credit balance. I assume it works the same way this time.

I bought 4 cards - got cashback. Bought another 4 - got cashback. Bought yet another 4 - no cashback. The system DOES say that I got the cashback. but the balance shows otherwise. Maybe it's just a visual bug? I don't really want to contact support...

Sometimes the data shown in the app is out of sync with that recorded on the servers - that on the servers is the important version. Try a manual Sync With Servers (go to the Settings tab of the app, enable Advanced Settings and click on Synchronize With Servers. If that doesn't fix the value then Quit the app and restart it (Quit via the systray icon, not by closing the window)

Yes it works on the new cards as well, which is quite interesting to do once you cleared out the more expensive cards, since newer cards don't get the preview discounts.

Cashback is one of the best TGIF offers around, since you get to pick all four cards (no additional cost for re-picking), and discounted cards count towards the four picks. If you get your first three cards at a 20% discount each, and a free card at no discount, you'll effectively have a 33% discount on those four cards put together. Milage may vary a little depending on what cards you pick, ofcourse, there's some cards sold at higher prices, which are great to put as 4th card, but there's also the old Virtuagirl Classic cards (if you have access to them and an interest in them) which are very cheap to put as first 3 cards.

@TheEmu thanks for your response, but I know how this works. I used the same terms the team used: they say the 4th card is reimbursed. I have over 1600 cred. left and had 1700 at the moment I got those cards.

The issue I had is a card was charged despite being shown as reimbursed in my account history, meaning I didn't get the cashback for that card. The credits for that 4th card were not credited back, despite the system showing they were.

That is probably the same problem as @Ophoster has. In both cases the reimburment has almost certainly been registered on the servers - which i the only place that really matters - but is being incorrectly shown on the app. Usually resyching or restarting the app will correct the displayed value, but as @Ophoster has found this does not always seem to work. Re-synching used to more reliably work before Toem switched to a "cloud" server and I suspect that the problem arises from the various levels of caching within the "cloud" now being used resulting in out of date data being displayed. However, as far as I can tell it is only a display problem - the central system knows your correct credit balance and will use that if you try to buy something (in the past I have managed to buy a card even though the displayed value indicated that I did not have enough credits to do so). I am sure that if you just waut things will correct themselves.

Two things to try if neither resynching nor restarting the app work are

1) Reboot your PC and router (this can reset any problems resulting from out of date cached data)

2) Look at your account via the web page rather than the app.

you might be one card off sync...
it looks like you got a cash back for the last set of 4 cards, but have only added 3 cards since.

Maybe the Next card will be your cash back, as it will complete the next set.
In any event.
you will need to write to customer support and they will take care of it.

Sometimes in your History,
the Card you Got cash back for is shown 1st in the group of 4, if all 4 were purchased in quick succession.

So it is possible to See, in the history
a cash back given, followed by the other 3 cards that counted in the group of 4, then followed by 3 cards.

So 6 cards in a row, after a cash back given.

That means, that last group of 3, needs one more card to complete it.

Thanks for the suggestions; it actually happened last night, so I tried re-sync several times, restarting the app, I shut down my PC last night and turned it on again today. Credits shown are still the same.

I hadn't tried the website, so just checked, and the amount of credits is still the incorrect one.

Basically cashback worked after the 1st set of 4 cards, didn't work for the 2nd set, then I tried again and got cashback on the 3rd set. I know how many credits I had at the start, so I know how many are missing after getting 12 cards.

I guess I'll have to wait for customer service to look at it.

For me it happened similar to @Ophoster and @arise77 , the entry in the history is also missing. The next set of four then worked as normal again. Definitely a server hiccup, I will probably turn to customer service (with the corresponding screenshot). But it's not a big deal, I take it sporty ... 😎

After contact with support I got some credits added (strangely it doesn't show up in my account history). I can confirm the cashback promotion does seem to apply to the newer cards. I just added a bunch to my collection and received the appropriate cashbacks. It must have been a hiccup like the ones @Ophoster and @arise77 experienced.

So, the missing credits are not a visual bug. I bought 4 more cards and got the expected cashback, but the previous one is still not returned. The support so far refuses to give me my credits back, saying that I already have them.
The cashback works a bit weirdly. It looks like this: purchase -> purchase -> purchase -> cashback notification -> purchase -> actual cashback. So it gives an impression that there was another card bought AFTER the cashback, so it's difficult to prove anything.
