Any card that is not in your personal collection is considered by the software and the servers to be 'New' to you.
The only cards that are really New are the ones that are on the 'Releases' carousel.

"New" in this case means cards recently added too your carousel(s) that you have not clicked over, or viewed the details on. If you are too puircshase a card from the carasel, the next card added to the carousel will also carry the "New" tag

Personally I've always ***** these "New" tags. A button to clear them easily would be great for me if they absolutely want to keep these tags.
