MacOS version seems very poorly optimized
This is and has always been true. I'm currently running on a 2013 Mac Pro and a MacBook Pro. If you have more than one display, be careful. On my system latency can exceed 2 minutes for a mouse click when playing cards on more than one disaplay at the same time.
