Just remember that iStripper is a business thing, and Totem wants to make money with it. So, this kind of game is one idea to let the business goes on and make money, as with the Goose Game.
It might also be good to remember that companies that actually take their clients' comments into account (instead of telling them something around the theme of "we're doing business, we don't care for your actual needs, take it or leave it") tend to do better. These days it's called "enhancing the customer experience".

The only reason why it doesn't apply here is that Totem has absolutely no competition. The company has created a business niche and they strive on it, and that's why they have the luxury of being able to totally disregard their most faithful clients.

Good for them. But let it be noted that Totem's customers aren't blind to the fact that they're treated with a certain amount of contempt because they're a captive clientele. If one day a competitor emerges on that same niche, it's safe to say that many people will leave.

They have plenty of competition, its called pornhub. Nearly all of their models are naked or having sex for free on the internet, their product happens to be EXTREMELY expensive even compared to other porn sites that cost $10-20 for all content. Istripper costs $5000 for all content. You piss off enough customers and they will go get off for free watching the same girls do the same things.

It is sad reading all these comments fom no doubt loyal customers who now are feeling squeezed and taken advantage of. I'm not sure what is driving this game focus at Totem- I should assume they think this will lead to more profit. But not because they offered great products, Rather, they have a group of customers that is prime for being taken advantage of, who will gamble their credits on Totem games, the same way a casino gambler will lose everything in the pursuit of everything playing the slots. I wish we could have an "intervention", that no one would play these games anymore and if no one played they would go away. That is what I am doing. Walk while you still have some credits in your account!

Actually, the problem is not really the games themselves. If I was a new customer and the company was offering me the opportunity to acquire new cards at a lower price, I'm quite sure I would be happy about that. You're new (not you specifically of course), you don't know the models, what you're looking for exactly, you're less selective. Then, the games are a great idea to start building your collection.

What is upsetting many of us right now, is that we are trying to ***** us, long-time customers, to participate in a game in which we have nothing to gain from, by making exclusive a card that should have been available for purchase. That's where the lack of respect lies. Given the current backlash, I hope Totem will reconsider its decision.

Actually, you can preview this card. Just search for Ginebra in the Girls Store and you'll find it. It looks great, which is probably why Totem decided to use it as an exclusive card.

Maybe it's the software (I have the most current version). I can see the card in the store, but I can not preview it like all the rest.

They have plenty of competition, its called pornhub.

I would say that pornhub is not really the same market at least not for me. I like collecting the cards but only the ones I want. And IS shows are more passive; I watch them while I work or surf the web or as I type this.

I have long hoped for competition from one of the bigger names in US but so far no go; I would probably be a member of both as for me it's all about the girls but another place to shop would be a welcome distraction for those times Totem excludes me from theirs.

50 credits = 5 cards ; 5 cards = 4 win ;
4 win = no cards i want ; 1 lost = special event card LOST
No more totem... no more try... prefer buy card, loose an event card because "you have the wrong ticket"... I AM NO MORE IN...

It is not a technicality.

You have a choice to play or not to play.

Youe are not ***** to play.

The results of playing are your problem.

I cannot see how anyone can say this is rigged.

I won on the second attemt. Yes I was just lucky. That is what games of chance are about but nobody twisted my arm up my back and said I had to play. It was my choice.

No, these games are not illegal. We are a serious company and we have inquired with our lawyers. Remember that our games of chance are not here to "squeeze" you like I read on this thread but to make discounts and promotions more playful.

So wait? Is this a playful thing or a business squeeze their customer thing?

As far a legalities and lawyers lets hope Totem has better lawyers than those guys who wrote Divine, Alizee, and other model releases or it could be bad news for everyone . I'm no lawyer but my guess is the gambling games are walking a very fine line and might be illegal in some places they are being played.

I'm not getting in to this argument as it's pointless. I'll just sit the rest of this out until the forum gets back to something like normal. This other stuff is getting really old for me 😕

I'm no lawyer either but regarding the legality of these kind of games here, the BIG difference is that once you have freely paid your money to buy credits, you can only spend them here and they CANNOT be exchanged for cash.
A casino on the other hand will exchange any winnings (chips) for cash.

I'm guessing that a qualified lawyer would say that once a person has spent their cash on credits, then it doesn't matter, legally, how they are used within the confines of the only place they CAN be used.

The money has already been 'spent' freely so cannot be reclaimed in court. Nobody is ***** to play the games. Every member has the choice to use their credits how they wish.

We all know what our money is spent on when buying credits. No ***** or ***** or anything of the kind is used.

My 2 centimos. 😊

Long post considering you are 'sitting this one out'? But you might be right for all I know. Do you think there would be a legal issue if Amazon.com had the same games where you could win and lose Amazon credits?

IMHO Totem are experimenting with this?

There has been some discussion on other threads as to whether or not keeping the current discount system is viable.

As a percentage, the triple diamond status is actually far lower now than it was when the original discount was set. Many more customers are achieving this level and will continue to do as time goes on.

Totem therefore need to achieve other ways of increasing their income. These games of chance may just be a way of doing this.

For example the last two games have featured chances of winning a card that isn't available yet.

The Kay J Victorean Secret card in the Goose game was possibly an initial trial without an exclusive card. The card will be regularly available shortly but did enough people take up the chance to get it early make it economically viable to let Totem think it may be doing with an exclusive card?

Was the switch to an exclusive card for a Ginebra show something to test the waters with what is obviously an extremely popular model. Would enough people pay extra credits to make this a viable proposition going forward?

As someone who has virtually all of the cards I cannot say that I would be particularly happy with this going forward however I have a lot of money invested in Totem and I certainly don't want to see it fail.

Just looking at the maths I think I paid out 24 credist to get the Kay J card and I got the Ginebra card for an outlay of 20 credits. The total outlay therfore is approx 44 credits for two cards that would have cost approx 27 credits.

There is usually a method behind every madness and is this Totem's way of saying that the Diamond memberships are costing them too much and they need to find another way of increasing revenue even if it looks as if it is unpopular with a vociferous minority of customers?

Please note that the above is a personal opinion and may just be the rantings of a ***** fool.

Yes I'm sitting out of the arguments over exclusive cards, gambling etc.

I've never bought anything from Amazon so have no idea what they offer or don't.

My point is that, as long as it's stated clearly in the original T&C's (as Totem have done) that once the credits, tokens or whatever they might be called are bought freely, knowing that they are not transferable, then the money is legally considered as spent. No refunds for cash. No hope of ever recovering that cash. for any reason whatsoever.

You're starting to get too greedy, what's all these exclusive cards bullshit? I would be ok if one spin would be only one credit worth, but ten? you just keep dissapointing me over and over again. And don't try to fix this mess with another bullshit gambling thing, I will not participate on this cash grab deal anymore.

Actually no - I wouldn't have done. I would have put a limit on what I spent - probably 100 credits - I am not a gambler by nature. I don't even do the lottery.

Also TBH I didn't know the Ginebra card was part of the deal at the time.

The scratch card screen came up when I first booted the computer. Normally I cannot play the TGIF because I have all the cards. As I hadn't purchased Friday's cards at that point I thought I'd give it a go to see if they were included. Nobody was more surprised than me when I got an exclusive card on the second attempt.

To be honest I do not entirlely disagree with your post. I personally do not think exclusive cards should be down to pure chance. Making a comitment such as the Advent Calenders or purchasing something that gives a financial comitment to Totem ( e.g. Black Friday sales) should be sufficient.

That said I do stand by my original post. If this is a way forward for Totem financially then I will support them.

Well the Nice thing about this type of Event, is that members who don't have the Special Event cards, can win all of them here.
not just the New One.

I'm sure there will be a future promotion with a set requirement needed to earn the card.

This type of Chance Event makes building your Collection Fun.
So it might not be well tailored to the collector with an already full collection.

Ok, your right on that one this event does do that.. but at what cost? I just spent over 200 credits to get 2 event cards. But I am sure you think that is ok right.. So basically triple diamond which is suppost to get me my big 45% discount is being null and void by events like this and I'm what suppost to say thank you? -_- ya don't think so.,, but oh ya I got those cards... Geezz I'm so lucky.. just wait it's going to get worse!

As long as the squeeze works it will.

Eventually enough people will stop playing and Totem will rethink the strategy. With every exclusive card produced the less interesting the exclusive cards will become. I know I know long card about the cards themselves but still ***** the idea more are to come.

Last Black Friday I predicted 4-6 exclusive cards in 2019; my thinking was one every quarter or every 2 months. We had a New Years card and an early March card so it looks like 6 this year but I doubt this continues into 2020.

Actually with the light of new events, I think I am done. Istripper was fun while it lasted but ***** man after Wyldanimal pointed out, it's my fault for trusting this company and I don't think it will change. I am gonna give this a week and hope to see an honest apology from the team, but if not I think I honestly am done. I've enjoyed the system so far, but what can you do right.
