I don't know if anyone else has noticed this, but on a whim I went to the "Previews" section at the top of the GUI and found that two of the six cards were discounted 12% off the member level price.

I bought both of those cards and a few minutes later another preview showed up and it was discounted as well...

Bought the third discounted card and then the next one came and it wasn't discounted. Neither was the one after that.

Just now got another one that was discounted while writing this. Shown Above.

Don't know the criteria of discounted versus not but for me discounts are almost never a bad thing except they keep using up my credits...

I don't know if this is permanent or if this is the start of this weekend's sale effort early.

if it keeps up then maybe the "pushed" previews might be such a bad thing after all... 😉

Totem is having a sale this week. They posted a notice here, but I guess you missed it. All new cards this week are 12% off their price in addition to any discount you already get.

This is in the Pushed "Previews" section, not the Featured "Releases" section at the top of the GUI.

I know the new girls in "Releases" are discounted this week and that was using up my credits as well but this is different I'm thinkin....

Maybe since I already have all the 3k, 1080p and 420p cards and all I can buy now are the 720p cards that is why some of my previews get discounted....? And not all of them are even discounted, several have shown up since the last discounted one and they were regular price.

I Dunno, but it doesn't show up for me unless I go to the "previews" section and look at my choices there.

It's definitely happening. For me anyway.

For people getting previews of newer cards this could sure be a way to keep them checking the GUI Preview section....

At least they only come every 10 minutes... There is time for RR breaks and a quick snack between pushes. ;-)
