A bit of news from the production teams here. Our team is dedicated to customer satisfaction and makes the best efforts to ensure the best technical and artistic quality of the content produced. In 2017 we’ll keep raising the quality of girls, outfits and choreography.

Las Vegas studio will be closed at the beginning of 2017. Over the course of 24 months in 2015 and 2016, we produced about 40 girls there, with some great names such as Megan Rain, Jayden Cole, Valentina Nappi, Jillian Janson, Mia Malkova and Arianna Marie. Running a studio remotely is as costly as difficult and we kept struggling with recurrent casting, technical or wardrobe problems. We’re very happy of the addition American girls gave to our girls catalog but it made little sense to produce more in Vegas for now.

On the other side of the Atlantic, and some employment laws changed at the end of 2016 in France and we’re now able to get visas and hire models from Ukraine and Russia. This is where our major boost of new girls will come from in 2017.

At the end of 2016 we introduced “glass” clips, where the girls are acting behind a glass panel. This is going to become standard for the whole production in 2017 (not for each card, but for one or two cards per model).

Since mid 2016 we’ve been selling outfits on ebay on weekly basis and re-investing all the funds into new and better outfits for the girls.

iStripper XXX cards will evolve in 2017. We’re tuning the production to stay closer to regular cards, with an explicit twist and two or three masturbation / orgasm clips on the table.

Some (quick) nudity will be allowed in Free Previews in 2017. Models and photographers have been requesting a bit more freedom to make appealing teasers.

It's a shame to hear about the US studio but I'm still looking forward to what 2017 will have to offer.

After seeing the image of the studio I was thinking how good it could be if there was a fullscreen setting that actually replicated the studio. I know it might seem a bit silly considering that a lot of effort must go into removing the studio from the clips but it was just something that came to mind.

On the XXX front, I've often wondered about how drastic to future sales it was to lose the Duo format.
I'm thinking of a way around paying top dollar for two models. I would be overjoyed if a local Parisian (with the right chemistry) was held on a fixed retainer to regularly 'assist' models who do XXX masturbation. A best fit between solo & duo , so to speak. Imagine an Ennie Paris type of lady or a lady who does not quite measure up dancing wise, she could even stay partly clothed..but we would get the chemistry/interaction...It would allow Totem to predict on-costs better without flying/accomodating 2 models everywhere and allow more predictable / quicker pairing.
Just My two cents..worth considering as a future possibility.

The end of the Vegas studio is a sad new, the american models are beautiful in general and I was very happy to watch girls like Mia Malkova or Keisha Grey. But keep on positive, with the new ukrainians and russians models to come, I'm sure to watch some wonder of nature. And I agree with @BJlover, try to shoot more black girls, variety will make the product more interesting.

Well, I always found that the overall quality of the us shows was a little subpar compared to the shows produced in Europe. I also think that the glass clips are really a great addition so Im happy to see it extended to every card.

So far, 2017 looks promising. :)

Really saddened to hear the Las Vegas studio will close. I was expecting there would be more US models. Oh well. 😞

Same worries as @zenwolfy2k and @EverthangForever about the XXX cards. I often happen to buy older cards, absolutely not about the price, but because of the performance, Duos or Solo, while Duos are ofc preferred. In newer clips however I often miss the energetic component, girls seem to deliver more a plain show, just a job.

Don't know if the industry has changed that much or if it is just a subjective impression.

Will definetly buy more older shows (solo and duo) and hope your new plans dont make the shows more dull.

Agree with the wish for more diversity, will keep us buyers more entertained. And for the "more freedom" in teasers an absolute "yes please" from my side, freedom in artistic perfomances always leads to more diverse, appealing and unique forms of art, might sell great.

I adore women from Russia and Ukraine, so their arrival is a very good news for me. I am sad for the closing of US studio though, and hope to see it back sooner or later...

I like glass shows a lot, and my wish for new cards, as I said once, is the coming up of shower shows. I don't know if the studio has the technology to shoot them now, but many members agreed that it would be a very good (and sexy) idea.

I heard some hints about plannings for a VR Istripper instead. In my opinion now it's too early, e.g. not everyone can afford faster PCs to enjoy it fully, so I would suggest to plan that later (maybe in a couple of years or so) and - as you are doing - to invest more money in producing appealing traditional shows, for now.

I hope this isn't a flat out close out of American talent. I can't imagine the cost but flying in models and hosting them in France for the duration of a shoot has to be cheaper than running a whole studio somewhere else. I been here for over 9 years and the company has fumbled and stumbled BUT in the end you have always made up for them and went above and beyond after the fact. Here's too looking forward to what to what 2017 will bring.

The statement above from Rex sets off a lot of red flags for me.

I read this and think that this is now the end of the iStripperXXX cards and now all the cards are going to be the tamer (much) iStripper shows with one or two clips of a finger slipping in for a blink of an eye and calling that clip XXX as is happening now. At lease for now we are still getting some iStripperXXX cards even if they are of the same girl over and over and over again.

So I ask again is Totem planning on dropping iStripperXXX (formerly Deskbabes) altogether? If so I guess I better get busy and spend my remaining credits while there is still something to spend them on. This will probably be my last purchase of credits. This no longer appeals to me.

Nothing is set in stones yet regarding XXX cards. We don't want to stop their production, we're only reacting to comments from customers and the crew here finding the format too boring. We filmed a few cards with the new format here, the goal is to make them more interesting, not less interesting. In the new format we tried, most of the card looks like a regular card except the girls goes further and there is 3 scenes on the desk of them reaching an orgasm. It probably won't be the final format, we'll read your feedback on them and adapt if needed.

I ***** it when everyone says yep XXX cards are boring but that's how they've always been. I'd like XXX cards to be as entertaining as regular card AND to contain XXX.

If the XXX change means less adult action im not sure how I feel about that. I actually prefer them to be more explicit than regular cards just because they make them stand out more. The use of toys and how the girls use them is the best part of the XXX series of cards. I am also sad the Las Vegas studio is going away. Please don't cut American girls completely. There have been great girls used here but the studio and quality control was just bad. Please keep the U.S. girls comeing if at all possible. As far as XXX cards I don't know why you went away from normal cards haveing some XXX clips in the first place. BUT I still would like to keep some full on XXX cards produced as well.

When girls are in Paris they just bloom personality wise and the French Studio sure know how to make em laugh.

Well I browsed my, still small, but growing collection, trying to figure out what the fuzz of the new XXX concept is.
If I look at two cards of Nekane I have one (0302) labeled as iStripper with XXX hotness level and one (0115) as iStripperXXX,
The first having 3 XXX scenes and the later 5, the only difference is the moaning and toy usage.

So basically the new XXX cards will be just regular cards with a pinch of extra spice ? Well then I guess the "new format" of XXX already exists and really has not to be labelled iStripperXXX.

Just my two cents but tastes differ...
