Hi, to access both collections (VGHD and DB) I normally install both EXEs. Maybe worth a try if you haven't done so. It tells your computer which collections you have rights to apart from anything else (additional skins)

Apart from that, if you go on Advanced and set default download to 1080p that should help. For the ones that came as 720p you can go through each in your collection and re-download them from that page.

You only have to install Virtuagirl or deskbabes. The programes are the same. You can use Deskbabescards in virtuagirl and and allso vise versa. In your first screenshot where have marked in red 720P open it and set it in 3K
in this setting all cards comes in the best quality. Once in a while when a card is updated You will see it in your collection or on the board. See following screenshots

I have tryed all that and no luck. when I launch the full screen I can hear it but not see it. In my collection the girl that show have a green upgrade sign and the girls I upgraded 720 or 1080 they go into a pile and I can't get them to come back out. I don't know if my computer is to old I'm using XP going to uninstall then re-install see if that helps. Thanks for help

@ez-going - Is the piling caused by filtering? Have you got 1080p ticked or unticked on your collection page filter? If unticked they will pile up.

@studer727 - If you only need to install one or other client these days then that help section needs updating again. I actually sent the original text quoted above as a suggestion a good few years back. That is how long since it has been updated.

However, I believe some of it still applies, ergo you would miss out on some of the skins if you did that. Not sure about the card filters though.

Is there any value really in downloading 3K cards vs. storage available on a system with displays that can do maximum 1080p? or even 720p at best? For future-proofing I get it, but I personally feel it is overkill when the other versions appear to have the same level of detail on lower resolution displays. I know this has been discussed many time before on here. Also, in comparison what is the CPU hit compared to a 720p or 1080p card being rendered on the desktop?

if they go into a pile, it means you have a filter set that is hiding them..
make sure all the boxes are checked on the filter pull out.

You're right about the skins, you can't use deskbabesskins in vituagirl. Question in this is, is it important?
Afterall the programme is ment to let the girls strip and dance. Allso the Virtuagirl programe is a little lighter in use.
And to instal 2 programmes only for a skin, I think that's a little madnes, but who am I ?

Now another question to you; Just curious, Have you ever tried to use only 1 installer e.g. Virtuagirl or Deskbabes?

Not for many years. You really did used to need to install DeskBabes on top of VGHD to access both collections, different card type filters and get audio to play for deskbabes cards.

As for seemingly having both installed, what happens is the latter installer run overwrites the former installation and merges the two program feature sets. So it isn't taking up twice as much space, just adding the additional features. Whether or not you'd want the skin is personal preference.Resource usage of DB vs. VGHD has never concerned me as my computers are sufficiently well equipped.
