depositfiles is an heavy Ad based site.
i doubt they control the ads...
So you can revist the same page and the ads will be different almost each time.

i'm pretty sure it is one of the ads causing the Warnings.

with that said, I think a site like, drop box, Onedrive or Google drive would be a better choice.

Thanks for the warning. I got no malware warning when going to the site, but I am runing both an ad blocker, Noscript and using Spybot's immunisation. I did not let any script run though I was able to download the rar file - but I have not yet unpacked it. The most likely locations for malware would be in the scripts that I did not let run or in any "download accellerator" that some of these sites recommend.

I have since had Malwarebytes, Windows Defender and Spybot all explicitly scan the .rar file. They all found nothing so I am happy that there is nothing to worry about with the file itself.

Nevertheless, like @Wyldanimal, because of the ad laden nature of the site you can never be sure that there won't be a problem via one of the ads and would also recommend using one that is not so ad heavy - one that is not so off putting to those who want to download a file.

@Nasashie - it was much easier to download the file from dropbox than it had previously been to get it from depositfiles.

One little point. It helps if the name of the .scn file begins with a few characters to identify who created it - either your username or an abreviated version of it. If you have a large collection of scenes (I have over 5000) this helps a lot because all of the scenes made by one person are listed next to each other and without it I would simply loose your scenes amongst the mass of others.

It also prevents name clashes with other people scenes.

I always rename the scenes this way, but it would be better if you did it yourself.

Hello everyone, for my third creation I propose: Airport. I created it from Xmas to have the light effect of the sunset that I adapted to the scene. This sene is exclusively for the air hostesses. As usual do not hesitate to let me know the different problems.

Though I appreciate the cutting edge "R&D" work with shaders that is going on, as evidenced in the other thread, I really enjoy your creations -- which I see have a lot to do with light.

All the 3D working and many recent Halloween related scene share's sparked a interest with the one I dabbled with way back around the original. I had this scene with a club background and liked it better without. Here its just 6 color versions of the occluding shader effect for name use and clip sprite glow behind the model. All clip types are enabled except the swing. The screen edge clips look kinda cool useing them here so I left them...Enjoy !!

Folks can try this .scn for 3D Cross-eyed. Its what I'm using atm ;-)
It may take just a few moments, there is a period of eye adjustment

Do it best while the models are small. Lock your eyes into a line of 6-8
similarly opaque models. Look at your finger centered 20 inches away
from your nose. Concentrate on the best two near central clones..
Focus on the clone which has no overlap. The one which the title pans
behind is good. Fractal will eventually relax your eyes into an easy
uninterrupted clear 3D view with faint transparent clones each side of her.

Converted @TheEmu & @Z22 'stacked slices' shader work for a 3D camera scene.
same deal as above for cross-eyed, however this one should also work for the
SBS glasses peeps. I have used @Emu 24 slice shader version to keep it optimal.

@ET, for sbs you have to shrink the x axis by half on the girls and background because the display will stretch it as it displays one side then the other, if you don't they will look really fat. It why i post 2 versions usually.

Hi all. I am having a problem with making my own scenes, i want to use the categories but some don't work, is there a list of the ones that do work or proper names for the categories such as student or swing as these don't seem to show anything on the screesn. Thanks in advance.

But note that some of the "categories" are selected via a category: clause (which is what was being discussed in the above link) while others are controlled via allow: and deny: clauses. The latter include "glass" and "top" (which corresponds to "swing").
