I don't have enough time and energy to discuss the futility of a 3K Virtua Girl card... I just want to ask a simple question. Why am I ***** to pay for it when all I want is a normal 720p or 1080p version?

that is like going to buy a movie like The Beast Master but you can only find it as a combo-pack. Why should I have to buy the others when I only wanted the 1.
It's a premium package the cards come with every format except 480p.
So you download the 720p and in the future if you ever upgrade your PC the 3K is available to you.

you have to pay for every card you wanna have in your collection.

@Sade10 The higher quality of 3k is not the only reason for the increasing of prices for the cards. Everything is getting more expensive. Meat. Milk. Gasoline. Everything. The fact that you have to pay more for VG is just the logical consequence. Face reality man.

@Hemingford is correct about increasing costs. Economists call it inflation.
Totem, like everyone else around the world, is faced with increasing operating costs. To their credit, they are working to improve their product as part of their compensation to us for these cost increases.
I want to see Totem operating at a profit. That way, they can keep the girls coming through the production pipeline for us to enjoy. For me, even with the higher cost of the cards, they are still more valuable to me than the money I spend. That is why I am happy to continue buying cards to play on my computer.
I spend more money on barista coffee each week than I do on Totem cards. The same goes for movies at the cinema.
It will be terrible if Totem had to stop production. I don't want to see that happen!
