There are just 32 girls, as of October 13th, with at least one card scored at 9.5 or higher.
I propose to group these girls into 4 Heats of 8, and ask members to vote for their favourite (excuse the Australian spelling). After a reasonable time (I suggest 2 weeks maximum) the 2 girls with the highest vote tallies from each Heat will face off in a Final to determine our 'BEST OF THE BEST". The 4 Heats will be titled "Your Choice - Heat 1" or Heat 2 and so on. All 4 Heats will be up for voting as soon as I can post them - work issues permitting.

I'm sure most members will be disappointed that some of their personal favourites are not listed. This is especially true if your favs have card numbers below 560, because NONE of them made the list.
No Zuzana, Jana H, Sandra H, Viki, Eufrat, Vicky S, Dorothy Bank, Chikita, Carmen Gemini, Marta, Britney, Chiara, no Morgane! I am devastated. Perhaps a separate poll for those early cards would be appropriate. But the ONLY objective way to select the "Best" girls is to accept members scores for their cards.

So there it is. The Heats for voting will be posted ASAP.

Still early days in the voting for Best of the Best. Average number of votes is just 25 for each heat. Reminding all that the 32 girls in these Heats are the ONLY girls with one or more cards with a score of 9.50 or higher. So you really are voting for the Best of the Best.

If voting closed right now (10.10 a.m. London Time on the 15th October) the finalists would be as follows:

Heat One: Mandy Dee and Little Caprice
Heat Two: Melisa and Jana Cova
Heat Three: Anna Tatu and Naomi Nevena
Heat Four: Cindy Dollar and Playful *****

Personally, I'd be happy with these 8 as finalists, since all 4 of my choices are represented. But it IS still early days.

At present I am considering closing the voting once the average number of votes exceeds 100 per Heat. Or, failing getting that many votes, after another 5 days, say, at 12 Noon London Time on the 20th October.

Thanks to EverthangForever for the good suggestion above. Unfortunately my IT skills are lacking, so I have to leave that to others.

Two days into the voting and there have been some changes. Apparently I wasn't quite successful in my attempt to keep the 4 Heats roughly equal. Heat Three has generated more interest and votes than any 2 of the other Heats. While Anna Tatu has established what looks like a winning lead, Miela has overtaken Naomi Nevena in 2nd spot for that Heat.
In Heat 2, Gracy-***** and Mia Sollis are both challenging Jana Cova for 2nd place and a finals birth.

The votes now average 41 per Heat, though only Heat Three has reached that level.

In case I didn't make it clear earlier. Every member is allowed 1 vote in each of the four Heats, making a total of 4 votes per member. I understand how hard it is to vote if you do not own a card or cards of all girls. So I/we are very thankful for those members who have posted pics of their choices.

It looks unlikely now that we will get enough votes to average 100 per Heat, so it IS likely that voting in the 4 Heats will be closed at 12 Noon, London Time, on October 20th. Voting for the Final - all who finish in the top 2 spots in their Heat - will run then for a further week.

After 3 days of voting (still another 3 to go), 80 members have voted in Heat 3, but less than half that number in the other Heats. A reminder that all members can cast one vote in each Heat.

Just for fun, I will post a 4th poll comprising girls from the earliest 500 VGHD cards, and a 5th poll with some girls who narrowly missed a card score of 9.50.
