Hello all! I downloaded VGHD about 24 hours ago, purchased my first model for 1 credit, and began my search for more 1 credit cards on the demo carousel. Unfortunately, I can't seem to find any way of accessing the 50% discount. Has this offer changed since this post on this 'Purchases, Software, Demos, Collection, Profile' sticky?

WARNING: make sure to buy it directly from the 'Demos' tab of the software. It is one credit there. It is two credits in the 'Store' tab in the software and on the websites."

I purchased credits under the impression that I would be able to eventually collect all of my desired cards for 1 credit each with enough patience. I even went ahead with a 2 credit purchase from the demo carousel hoping it would change the situation, but unfortunately that wasn't the case. I read here on the forums that logging out and back in might fix it, or that the news button might
do the trick, but I'm still left searching. Any input from the experiences members out there?

@LRDark I believe the 1 credit demos only activate one you reach Gold level, (own 40 cards).

Yes, The Discounted Demo's for 1 Credit Each, doesn't activate until you Become a Gold Member.

The Quickest way to reach GOLD is to purchase a couple Booster packs.

Yes, a few dozen. About 3 months ago Totem came out with a new pricing structure and a new version of the VG application to support that pricing. The old version of the software doesn't display prices correctly in the carrousel. It also won't work with the new 3K cards.

I'm doing some guessing here. I think that from Totem's perspective the carrousel is a sales tool. It puts unowned cards in front of you and encourages you to buy them. That's still true even without the discount.

From my perspective, the carrousel is a way to see demos of a card before I buy. Since the discount function of the carrousel is gone, I have suggested that Totem add a feature that will let a user place any card or cards of their choosing in the carrousel. My message is in the ideas forum. Others have suggested the opposite, that you should be able to play the demo clips of a card simply by clicking on it in the Store Tab. This issue has been discussed or at least commented on in many threads all over these forums.
