Perhaps I'm wrong, but seems to me that OP's concern is rather more about the guns as a message of violence and *****.
When there is a Girl on a stage, with a firearm in her hands, it means obviously: you'd better don't mess with me, or I'm gonna ***** you...
Nothing about sex and love... or is it?
If you'd ask from me, would I prefer to get ***** by a half naked girl, or a robber, who just wants my watch, wallet and car keys... Well, there's no difference in the final result, right?
So, if someone's walking around on the stage with the gun, it doesn't seem to be exciting. Replicas or not.
I don't think, guns are dangerous. Just some people are, however still prefer to see no firearms on the stage.
This wasn't meant to argue with anyone, just my humble opinion, a little contribution to this topic, that's all.
