I've noticed that many of the DeskBabes clips have sc in their name followed by a number like c0128_sc6_33502.vghd. Does anyone know what this means?

if i think well sc are for scene, normaly sequence, but i am not sur, i imagine only if we have a number after is for separat several scene. then the show can if possible have several time the same profil, by exemple 33502.

also i can imagine when we use the progressif system, the sc can present several scenario.

Yes, here the Sc6 is the Nr.of c0128 card's 6th scene, the 33502 is the number of scenes's type: "Close shot, over taskbar, accessories included"

That doesn't make sense to me. Notice that the 02 is also a sequence number. Here is the entire set of clips in that card. Not all of them have an sc and there is no sc1, sc2, sc3 or sc4.

I think there is more to the sc. I just don't know what it is. It may be legacy data.

There is nothing else. SC means scene and just that.

If SC means scene, why are there so many scene 5's and 6's and nothing else in one card? Could it be related to a production issue, like camera setup? I don't need an answer, but I work with data all the time and I love to figure out hidden meanings.

That is cause is an old show and ways to tag stuff change with time. Nothing is hidden about that, just the old ways that were dropped for a more efficient tagging system.

And also, it doesn't matter what number the scene is. At first, DBs was made as individual, unrelated clips justs as VG. Long ago they started doing long scenes to not cut the timming of the performance and help the models to get into a rythm. So each of these scenes are divided into shorter clips and not in a 10 minutes clip. So, to identify the scene those clips came from, then the Sc-1, Sc-3, or anything, is just to keep one single performance together for those that want to see the progressive hotness.

For a long time now, scenes are numbered in order from 1 to the numbers of performances or scenes they made, not the amount of clips they made for each scene.

That was my best guess - legacy data. However, sometimes you learn something really interesting by asking a question like this. Thanks for your patience in answering me.

Progressive hotness came about from Deskbabes.
One Long continuous scene is recorded.
The first few cards, these were released to QA as a HUGE single Clip..

Then, in Post production, this Long Scene is broken up into smaller clips.
Each Clip is then Part of that Scene, and it will have the Same _SCx_
Each Clip in the Scene will also progress in hotness.

Take for example the cad you posted.
Look at Scene _SC5_
It starts with the Demo of level 1
progresses to Two Clips of Level 2
there is No Level 3 clip, so it next progresses to one Level 4
and finishes with Four Level 5 clips.

Using the Progressive Hotness Check Box, the GUI will Play this Scene in Order of Hotness..

Also note, that the Last two Digits, are the Clip Order within that Level of nudity.
