That is cause is an old show and ways to tag stuff change with time. Nothing is hidden about that, just the old ways that were dropped for a more efficient tagging system.
And also, it doesn't matter what number the scene is. At first, DBs was made as individual, unrelated clips justs as VG. Long ago they started doing long scenes to not cut the timming of the performance and help the models to get into a rythm. So each of these scenes are divided into shorter clips and not in a 10 minutes clip. So, to identify the scene those clips came from, then the Sc-1, Sc-3, or anything, is just to keep one single performance together for those that want to see the progressive hotness.
For a long time now, scenes are numbered in order from 1 to the numbers of performances or scenes they made, not the amount of clips they made for each scene.
