I like ( Explicit / X-rated ) d109 out.

If the levels were accurate and contained an equal amount of clips ..

1 Lightly sexy
2 Topless
3 Full nudity

But since the amount of clips for each level is not equal, I am ***** to watch all levels just to see a reasonable amount of clips of many of the ladies.

This would depend on the day, the mood, the girl, the outfit, and the actual scene - I could never arbitrarily choose a category or even 3 favorites. I never even pay attention to what the clip level is.

I like a good strip tease to start on Level 1, work to Level 2, then to 3, but for it to be complete, it must go to either level 4 or 5.
so I voted level 4 and 5

This topic needs some simplifying...

1) Level 1 = no nudity regardless of how sexy it is...
2) Level 2 = topless, not bottomless...
3) Level 3 = full nudity with no leg spreading...
4) Level 4 = Explicit, that's leg spreading, rubbing and everything in between (sexy)...
5) Level 5= X = PENETRATION !!!

I believe that when Totem added the X rating it was for those girls who wanted to put there fingers in there snatch for us so if you didn't want to see them masturbate you can tern that off unlike when it would show them masturbating in the Explicit clips, I could be wrong about this but when I see a girls card with a rating of 5, I want to see PENETRATION!!!

It's not to difficult 1=cloths on, 2=top off, 3=no cloths, 4=wide open, and 5= PENETRATION!!!

What do you think? Lets fix this, I'm getting tired of seeing these level 5 cards and there NOT!!!

Indeed, let the girls choose but let them know at the start that they can go all the way to penetration AND when they do choose X -give us 2 0r 3 full (not just a bit at the end!) clips of Xplicit action (als Zara,Natali, etc.).
X is not the only thing....but it is a most enjoyable action that completes a card!

I will add that nowhere else on the web are there girls dancing on bar that do X action=nowhere else to go to find my Fave action=seductive dancing AND X finger insertions! (No not even DB, but thanks a lot for that at least....I miss the seductive dancing "over there".)
One of the "perks" for members should be that once you reach Plat or VIP (I forget which) level you can edit out clips you don't like.Incentive to buy more cards!
I've always said that I have faith in Totem to be able to present X action with a high quality, special style of Eroticism, I just have a wavering faith that they will actually do it on VG!

I enjoy the full striptease. Start fully clothed and finish naked. Usually the Full Nudity does this as does the Explicit. The XRated shows usually start with some or most of the clothing already gone.

That said I usually have the Light Sexy on at my work place

While I tend to agree with dar2112v, for me explicit & above is not generally a requirement.

I would prefer a skilful dancer, especially a pole dancer who is willing to get fully nude as opposed to explicit or x-rated.

That's my personal opinion.

As an aside observation, I notice that this topic is starting to closely resemble one from a number of years ago when there was quite a debate on explicit versus non explicit.

That included the argument over whether explicit content should always be downloaded, even if the member's tastes did not run to explicit or x-rated.

Passions ran fairly hot as I recall, especially when it was asserted that they could always choose not to play those cards. The response, was why should I have to download something that I am not going to play. After that the responses got very personal and nasty from both sides of the argument.

Lets make sure that we do not descend to that please (and no there are no complaints about posts to date), just a note for the future.

I voted for "another combination". Usually I can never choose just ONE favorite of anything, as my tastes are so varied and I like lots of things.

I thoroughly enjoy any level featuring TRUE full nudity, preferably standing or pole clips. When I say true full nudity, I mean I don't like a clip labeled full nudity or explicit or x-rated that features clothing pulled aside to just expose breasts and pussy.

Next favorite would be topless with a pair of thong panties.

What I enjoy the most is a clip where the woman walks out or appears already fully nude or topless! Hot!

I don't want to make this complicated, I'm just tired of most of the new cards being released that have X rated clips (Level 5) that have no penetration, just leg spreading (Level 4) and when I see level 5 I expect to see penetration, that's what I look for when I check out their .xml file in their data folder...

Maybe they should post what the levels mean cuz there are girls spreading wide open in Level 4 and 5 and if level 5 is the only level for penetration then they need to come up with something more than explicit (Level 4) for those that spread it but don't penetrate it....

Come on Miyuki Son card 1345 has 8 Level 5 clips and doesn't get her finger wet once...

I'm going to share a little information That I hope everyone feels as GOOD about as I do.
Just recently, the QA team has received some very good new regarding the level ratings.
Totem, sets the ratings, and we QA members follow them as best we can.
Over the years, the Level 4, level 5 concerns have been brought up quite a number of times.
And Mostly because Members have sent us messages or posted in the forums.
With out Member feed back, there wouldn't be change.

Totem does listen.. So a Big thank you to Totem and the team.

Totem has a guide we use for the levels. and sometimes it is very unclear where the line is from this guide..

Picture (1) is the Guide for Level 5 in 2011
Picture (2) is the Guide Updated in 2012 with a sample of Level 5 spreading.
Picture (3) is - after much input from the Members and the QA team, the New Level 5 change from Totem 6-03-2013. Change is good...

I think you can see from the past 2 Guides, Level 5 just wasn't that Simple...

I, the rest of the QA team, and I'm sure the members of VG, Thank Totem for this wonderful change.

I know, many members don't appreciate the work we do in QA.
We review, Every single Clip of Every single Card, often we watch them several times in a row...
We don't get paid to do this.. we volunteer our time, to Help make sure that the product Totem releases to the Members is the Best it can be.
But We can only follow the guides / rules given to us by Totem.

So I think this is a good change.

That card was rated prior to the New Changes, using the older guide.

It was actually one of the cards that brought this back to Totems attention and motivated the change.

Just to totally reinforce WA's post.

I read, but do not participate in the QA Category.

I see all the work that the QA members and team do. They do a hell of a lot and they do not get paid for it.

They deserve your support and appreciation.

Thank you @Wyldanimal, I appreciate the answer and I can except that, it just irritated me when I see a show like Katia De Lys solo on DB card 348 where there's no level 5 clips (and I think they got that right) and then see a show like Miyuki Son with 8 level 5 clips. I hope you can see my frustration...
I like many if not most like to filter my shows I even have a .jpl file of all my VGHD demos that I can play in starryk's player... (over 1300 of them)

One reason I like the product so much is that you can tailor it to your mood. Very often, I just want to see a dazzlingly attractive girl waving her shapely toosh, so very often I have LS and Topless ticked, or I use WA's or Starryk's addons [Thanks WA and Starryk!]to effortlessly compile playlists with just those categories.

I voted Lightly Sexy and Topless above partly so noone gets the impression that VG is or should be just for the heavier stuff.

Of course, there I times I want to, ahem, delve deeper into the experience, so to speak. And VG/DB caters for those moods too. Flexibility and choice seem to me to be the keys!
