I've noticed in the forum sections where members request models, that many are not practical for VG to get. This has been explained due to high travel costs, higher model fees, and so on. Personally I'd be willing to pay a one time fee of $5 or $10 to get a special model.

We all have our favorites who we'd like to see, but won't due to cost. In my case, I'd be willing to pay a fee to get someone that many members have requested before like Jenya D from MetArt. I know we all have our own favorites we'd like to see but most likely won't due to cost.

The question is are you like me and willing to pay a one time fee for a chance to have your dream model dancing on your desktop?

Since all of Totem's revenue is collected through third-party billers, how would that work?

Might I suggest something similar to kickstarter initiatives? If we can do auctions in credits, perhaps we could do fundraisers in credits as well?

I think this topic is rather insulting to the models already here.

Just like the Cards and the Auctions, it would have to be done Via Credits.
If something like this were possible,
Member would have to Buy the Credits and then let Totem deduct them from their account.

Like WA, I don't think that this would be feasible, purely because of the costs that would be incurred. I don't know what a flight from the States to Europe costs, but from Down under its starts at around $1,600. Thats a lot of upfront fees to be raised before it becomes an inducement for Totem.

The idea is outside the box and a new look at an old problem. As such it should not be outright discarded. Maybe if enough people DID show interest, Totem "might" give it a look.

There is no insult to the current models, its a response to the long standing question of why can we have models from outside Europe and the response has always been because of the cost of traveling etc.

Just my 2 cents worth.

I've posted something along these lines in the past, like if a new set of Lorena would be released, I'd happily pay 3, 4 or maybe 5 credits per card. Of course the only way Totem would go for it if folks pay upfront. It's not a bad idea if people could get their advancement back if the deal blows or not enough dough is collected. I guess it would only mean programming a sort of separate payment option, that makes it easy to return the upfront credits.

I did not intend to insult any of the models on this site. They are wonderful. I was just thinking of a way to get some models here that are out of reach under current curcumstances.

I'm sure, other than the travel cost issue, Totem has to neogitate the modeling fee and that some of these ladies have higher rates than others. That is not insulting to anyone. It recognizes the fact that some models have moved along further in their career and can demand a higher fee.

I don't know how VG could do this. When I asked the question it was to find out if active members wanted some models to appear on this site enough to help fund their appearance. How it could be done would be for VG to solve.

Remember VG must have a large active suscriber list. 1000 members donating $5 would cover a round trip ticket from most places. Or would bring in a local European model who can demand a higher fee.

models take between 350 and 450 vote, between 100 - 150 days
and not all positive votes !

also how many costa a great model with 85-95% ?
and how many members are willing to buy ??
also how gread must be the fee ???
on this point of discussion, it´s time for a cost estimation !!

My concern is that paying extra for "special" girls, might cause an increase in what the current girls expect to get paid. Our 1 and 2 credits may then become 3-5 credits for all girls.

A special model, higher travelling costs, higher model fees and for what? just another girl?

What makes a girl special? - It's always a matter of personal taste nothing else.

I would not pay special fees or higher credits just to see another girl.

I agree 100% with "Virt4B"...It is always a matter of personal taste. In my opinion, there are plenty of gorgeous ladies already available here...and more are always being added. The whole idea of paying extra for a particular woman is fundamentally flawed...who decides which women are worth more? Again, this boils down to personal taste.

What is the average modeling fee? I don't expect answer, but we are talking 3-5 or even 10 credits....

Models rent variety depends of hours or til the next day(Sleep over)
and the meeting location, hers working place/yours place,
from $300(1Hrs.) or cheaper and expensiver of course.
It depends on the model and what you want from her,
shooting/filming, hardcore.

I would pay extra, but the problem is, that everybody has own wishes for a model.

That is precisely my point, Heelslicker, and the reason I voted No. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder...we all have unique personal tastes. So who would be the judge of what women this extra payment would be for? You will never please everybody, especially if a member pays this extra fee only to be presented with models they don't find any more attractive than the women they already like here.(Some may find the higher priced chosen models to be even less attractive than the models they already like here.)
Simple personal preferences make this a very slippery slope...and, personally, I can't see it working. Some members may be pleased with the chosen model, while others are not pleased with the choice. This is inevitable...its human nature.

I voted no for a variety of reasons. Yes there are a lot of ladies I would love to see dance across my screen, however the feasibility seems flawed in several aspects.
I think Totem has done a great job bringing in beautiful ladies thus far. I also like the idea of some of these ladies getting their start in the industry at VirtuaGirl. Or as is often the case, you never see them again, which is too bad.
Furthermore, as a businessman, I like getting high quality for less. Covering the cost of more well known models seems like it would be gamble at best. Because every one has different tastes, I don't think enough members would foot the bill on a model if she were not the one they would have chosen.

Here is my two cents. As a pastry chef it's all about the bottom line. The end cost and what my profit will be. Therefore, if I were totem I would poll my members to see how many would buy cards from both Virtual girl and Desk babes of American models. Based on that outcome, I would then consider opening a studio in the U.S., thereby making the models fees more feasible.

As you can see I myself have over 1,900 friends on this site alone and some of them I chat with on Facebook. They have said they would buy more Desk babes cards if the girls were speaking in English. Here in the U.S., the porn industry has become a multi-billion dollar industry per year. If I were totem I would like to get my hands on some of that.

I would name the new cards Virtual Girls, Desk babes of America and charge three credits per card to help off-set the cost of the new studio in California where most of the new and well known models live and work, therefore cutting down on travelling cost as well. Also, I would consider the fact that the new models just starting out are looking for their first big brake in the business and will work for less money. I could use the profit from that to pay for more well known models and make even a bigger profit. Keep your cost low and your quality high end. I think you know what my vote is on this.

Maybe if there were suggestions, we could vote. Then its clear, if there is a model that pleases most.
