I finally broke down and installed version 1.06.01. The constant "reminders" finally wore me down.
I noticed a new display option, "Progressive Hotness":

@MUFFDIVR. Progressive Hotness plays one clip from each level for a card.
So if a card has all 5 levels of nudity it starts from No Nudity and plays through to X Rated.
Not sure what it does for cards that do not have all the levels. I have heard it fills in with more clips from levels the cards have. But not sure.

Does it play the same Girl over and over, till it gets to the most explicit, or does it still play Girls randomly, getting more explicit as it goes along?

It plays all the clips from one girl in sequence from least explicit to most explicit.

Progressive hotness has 2 main functions
One is for VG
The other is for newer DeskBabes shows.
For VG it plays in sequence random picked clips from each level.
It starts randomly with a lightly sexy or topless clip.
Then it continues with the next level. If there is no clip available for that level it picks one of the next level. This goes up to x-rated level.
Many shows have no full nudity clips. So it plays one of the explicit clips and next another explicit clip. So it replaces the full nudity clip with an explicit clip it does not skip the full nudity level.
Should an x-rated clip be available it would play an x-rated clip afterwards.
Once it reached the x-rated clip it either switches to another show if available or starts with lightly sexy or topless again
For newer DeskBabes shows above show 126 they are splitted into scenes.
Progressive hotness plays all clips of a scene in sequence.
And then continues with the first clip of the next scene.
so with Progressive hotness you can watch newer DeskBabes shows as one long movie.
I think that is the main reason Progressive hotness was implemented.
NOTE: For DeskBabes this seems only to work if you don't have the demo clips downloaded.
@Edit: I remember there were some problems with Progrssive hotness in V1.0.6.1 So it might not completely work like described above. But these problems were fixed with Beta 1.0.6.03 so it will work like that with the new version.
