Under the "Other Cards" tab for the girls, didn't the rankings for each card used to display? Now it just has the "Buy For X Credits" button under each one. Why are the rankings gone, and could VG please let them display again?

In my opinion the rankings at best don't really mean much anyway, and at worst can be very misleading. There are a lot of great cards that have relatively low ratings and a quite a few with high ratings that are really pretty mediocre.

I don't know why Totem removed them from those pages, but in my view it's a good thing. I hope it encourages more people to read the reviews (particularly the longer and more thoughtful ones) to get an idea of how good a card really is before they buy, rather than just look at the rankings.

I noticed this too! It's a little silly removing them considering the average rank is still there next to where you give your own for each card. So, I'm curious how the cards are ordered by "popularity" when you choose that option on the "Girls" tab? By average rank or number of downloads? It has to be by average rank since as of this moment of me writing this, Cindy Dollar's brand new card released today is the first card listed.

If the rankings are so unimportant and possibly discourage potential purchases, why not remove the whole process altogether?

I didn't notice this despite buying some cards this morning. Just shows how seriously how I take the ratings.

The average rating is still there on the card description, but just not on the front.

In many ways this is better, beceause we judge each card individually rather than comparing them with other cards.

I don't download cards because someone else liked them, I download them because I like them. I use the rankings purely as a reference. Sometimes I agree with the ranking, sometimes I don't. But I like seeing how a girl's cards are ranked at a glance. I don't particularly care for information being taken away or obscured. So now, instead of easily seeing that Girl A's card "Matted and Motherly" is the lowest ranked among her cards, we have to dig to find that out. It doesn't makes much sense unless VG is hoping that people swayed by user rankings will buy more lower-ranked cards now because they can no longer see them in context with the others.

In my humble oppinion the whole ranking does just misleading the customers.
In my collection are cards with a very low rating but presents a great model with a very good show and cards who are by far overrated.

The best way to purchase cards is the own taste - and so Totem still have to do her best for a new presentation ;-)

Not only are the numerical rankings gone in the "Other cards" section, now they're also gone in the "Girls" page of the site. For those who prefer not to see the numbers, please ignore them. For those of us who found them to be one of several quick sources of useful information, PLEASE bring them back.

It doesn't matter to me one way or the other. I really don't take reviews or ratings into account when buying a card. Only I know what I like and everyone's tastes are different.

Plus I think that once a model gets high rankings a couple times they start getting high rankings on name alone sometimes. I don't think it's implemented well.
