I don't like tattoos on a woman. (Men can please themselves - I'm not interested.)

One, maybe even two or three discreet and tasteful designs I can let slide. For example, Jasmine Andreas' gecko design on her tummy. But anything more, or larger than the palm of my hand, is a turn off. When with a partner, caressing her skin and meeting a tattoo is like driving off the tarmac onto a rough gravel track. Maybe tattoo technology has improved in recent years to avoid this effect, for my experience was a while ago.

So, whose tatts are acceptable, and whose are a turn off? I've mentioned elsewhere my total dislike of Dominno's large and ugly (to me) tattoos.

I'm inclined to agree on all counts. But some appear to be anything but 'nicely done'.

There are some girls that have the same winged tattoo on the small of their back, I hope it's just a trend rather than a "family" or gang thing if you know what I mean.

I've got nothing against a few tattoo's so long as it doesn't look like someone went mad with a crayon. It depends on the design and who it's on. Designer labels don't work on certain body frames, hair styles fop on some people. It's just a label thats not as easy to get rid of if it ever goes out of fashion...;) Most of the girls here seem to go in for no or small tattoo's (thigh, leg or back) with not very many murials. My favourite so far is Belicia's.

Tattoo's are usually a bit of an irrelevance to me. With a few exceptions I couldn't care less about them one way or the other as long as the girl is gorgeous enough (and all on VG are certainly that).

In a very few cases I find them quite attractive though, e.g. the cats paw tattoo down Belicia's spine, or Trisha's butterfly.

I also find the goth-girl look quite attractive/erotic and tattoo's are usually a big part of that. I suppose it appeals to my rebellious side and fits with my musical tastes (punk, metal, goth rock, e.t.c). The closest we have to that look on VG at the moment is probably Dominno. Although she doesn't have a specific goth style card on VG, her dark hair, elfin features and tattoos, although relatively subtle compared to many goth girls I've seen, fit the style nicely.

If you regard Dominno's tattoos as 'relatively subtle' I'm not sure I want to see those you regard more 'in your face'. I can appreciate a well done mural to dress up a bare wall, but the perfect skin of a beautiful nude woman needs no adornment. IMHO

On the whole, I agree, or anywhere else, for that matter...( Hffrrr )...although it can make for quite a pleasant read, if the conversation gets dull !...

I have a copy of the Rules and Regulations for Prisoners once issued to those on Alcatraz Island. The manual's title was in huge lettering. If a blind date got too boring I'd pull it out at dinner and read it to myself waiting for the food to arrive. (Sending a loud and clear message to my date) JK . . . hehehe

But on topic. Tattoos are merely ***** and tinted flesh shaped into images which are supposedly to be pretty and or meaningful. So, in essence, all they are are patterned, customized woundings. Not MY personal thing. A woman's figure alone is artistic enough for my tastes.

I meant that Dominno's tattoos are subtle by comparison to the likes of these - its not uncommon for goth girls to get a lot of large, colourful tattoos, and some can go a bit over the top. Personally I prefer a little more subtlety, like Dominno's.

Just some Tattoos are nice, others are irritant or...

Let me give you an exemple without using the name of the model:

There was a VirtuaGirl once who did get older and more beautifull as ever but had to chance her name because she's not a ***** anymore.
So she did produce a few galleries of very good photos as mature woman with a different name, but...

Everybody who owns her VG-cards can recognize her just at 1 small tattoo!

My advice to all girls who wants to be a model:
Be really carefull with your body! ;-)

The times changed. There are participants with tattoos in Miss Universe, that might still be the most important contest about female beauty. High profile fashion designers are using more and more girls with tattoos and that reflects that the tattoos are well accepted now among the most demanding hirers in the fashion business.

That said, I belong to the generation that saw the tattoos becoming a common thing and losing their association to the, let's say, "wild side". I'm not disturbed a bit about the tattoos. As long as the girls use a good tattoo artist, no problem. Those girls that Space posted above look awesome to me.

And nope, ozbomber, the skin feels as smooth as before after some time. Nice bed reading, braille system, even if you can't feel the dots and lines, lol.

not a fan of overthe top tats.in my opinion dominno's tats make her look trashy. just not my cup of tea. thats not to say some tattoos are'nt nice i guess i beleive why wreck a beautiful body with gawd aweful tattoo's
