Well, i have to get my new credit card to buy some tickets and watch this oldish shows, so i can't really say something informed about them. But i don't think that you evolve by going backwards, nor you should see the future with nostalgic eyes. The product changed, cause also the makers changed and got older. There's no such thing as coming back home, Joe. Or to be more evolucionist, what doesn't transforms, dies.
I don't think current VGHD girls to be inferior in any way to the V2 girls. There was a little more variety in types before, but that's it.
I've never cared about that "erotica" notion. Shows are entertaining or not, hot or not. If they are i'll keep buying, if not, so long. It was a terrible year that one of the cutting and fading. The product was evolving till you decided to stop the evolution and went backwards. That was your experiment to go back to "erotism" and we know what happened. That period is over and i don't like anything that smells like another attempt to bring those prudish notions back. I like my girls hot and explicit... and entertaining. And certainly i don't want a come back to the days where the cards had 25 clips with 15 of those with a completely dressed chick, nor want them to peel layers of clothing till i get bored to death. And i do like bikinis and other brief outfits.
Instead of doing the crab walking, i suggest you to keep the hot stuff as it is and look for new ways to present the shows. Try new things, learn new tricks and go crazy with untested ideas, bring new themes and never seen before outfits and improved routines. That, to me, is what will keep the product fresh and attractive.
Of course, all that is strictly my opinion. ;)
