This is very interesting. I found that parameter in the plist file. It wasn't there when I first checked. When I unchecked the checkbox, it appeared. It's name is crashReportingEnabled and it's a boolean variable.

However, when I turned it off and back on it did not seem to affect the behavior of iStripper on my Mac. But, you are using Ventura and I'm still using Monterey as my OS.

Do you mean the the Send crash reports checkbox in the Data section of the Settings tab of iStripper or is there a file as well? You may be able to show me something in iStripper I haven't discovered.

@dan99212 - you don't say when you did all the linking but our understanding is that, because the team have to release the card to you, they do it as a batch job on a Monday.

So, by Tuesday it should have arrived.

The pre-sale though has completed. As @philours says, you can still buy Dolz via your Metamask wallet. The team will be issuing guidance notes to help people do this. If you want the Paola card that was offered to pre-sale participants, then you would have to buy it on the opensea market.

Today I have finally been able to localize the problem to just one single EVIL checkbox in the settings - "Send crash reports".
As long as you stay the f.. away from it, all of the settings seem to be persisted correctly (I don't yet know for how long).
But if you so much as dare to think about not sending those reports, you are immediately penalized for it by erasing all of your other settings, leaving only a small fraction of the default ones.

It seems like a bug in the software to me personally and not some security restrictions on the OS side.

For now, I will have to check the settings file every time before launching the app, just in case.
And, if it asks me to log in, then right before entering the password also.

I'm considering making the file readonly if the issues persist.

Rare has one clip more than Limited, Epic has two clips more and Legendary has three more.
The clips length is about 1 - 2 min each.
The Limited card is a full show already.

@HansSachs - each level up gets one extra clip - so Limited is the base card, Rare is +1, Epic is +2 and Legendary is +3.

@Mitchell - I cannot say, because what Herve said was that members would bid for the cards (at the different levels) and we know nothing much more about that process.

Different cards may be issued at different levels with different volumes per level so demand versus supply may drive the prices.

I would tend to say - wait and watch the first couple of cards go through (fingers crossed it's not Sofi) and we will start getting more of a view of price and demand.

Looking at what it costs to convert, I looked at the price today to convert dollars to Matics (the first stage). So, the fees charged today via Transak would have been (for $30) a total of $1.62 ($1.2 Transak fee, $0.3 MetaMask fee and $0.12 Polygon fee) which gives you 24.33 Matics (how many Matics you get for a dollar is an exchange rate that can differ day to day)..

Those Matics are then traded for Dolz using a facility called Quickswap. That is a simple routine but it only allows you to convert 50% or 100% of your Matics at any one time (and strangely it rejects at 100% because that would not leave you anything to pay your fees).

So you convert 50%, then you can convert 50% of what you have left, then 50% of that if you want to (this bit does sound daft, I know 😉) but each swap only costs around $0.02 regardless of the size of the swap.

So effectively you could convert most of $30 and have around$27-$28 worth of Dolz. Now if a card does cost close to the price of a normal iStripper card (for the most common version) which is around $2-$3 (I think) you can see how you can cover the cost and keep some Dolz for any other cards that appear.

As for closing everything down afterwards, I don't think it is necessary. You have only dropped a small amount of money into it and if your bank is like mine, they will seek your authorisation for any payment of funds to Transak. I am comfortable that I am safe - the horror stories most people hear are because people convert a lot of money into their wallets and then are lax with keeping the identity of that wallet secure.

If I remember well - and I think I do - 220 credits are actually given when the euro 100 package is available, which is not the case now.
I think it they have simply forgotten to change wording, there absolutely is no purposedly false advertising here.
And, anyway, the actual amount of free credits is clearly indicated for every credit package.

This has been remarked on many times.

The preview tab apparently displays a selection of the shows that have been most highly rated by those that have bought them (because, I suppose, Totem think that these are the ones that are most likey to be purchased by others - i.e. they are advertising the cards they think will sell best).

But you can manually select to play previews of any card in the store.

The following code works for a non duo card but to make a version that works for a larger duo card name.... is there some way that I can get the shader to detect the size in pixels of the original clipname, with that information I could specify an alternative point at which to crop the name from the 0.63 specified below:

@mitchell - what I am advising people to do is let the team issue the guidelines to purchasing then simply spend a an hour or two going through the process (it only takes that the first time) and buy yourself $30 worth of Dolz. You then have that in your wallet ready for when the cards get issued - and $30 is not a massive amount to commit. That is what I have done - and I am naturally risk-averse.

That does not imply by the way that $30 is the cost of the card - I have no idea. It should hopefully be less but I think $30 is the lowest amount that can be converted in one transaction.
