Okay,guys, need your help here..

I installed VG oin my desktop computer(XPsp2) and on my Vista laptop..
I downloaded a full show to my desktop witch runs perfectly and now I want to install it on my laptop too.
Helpfiles suggested this could be done..

Moved the girly-file to the laptop and put it in the models dir.
..
Show is not showing in the My Collections list..
Am I doing something wrong?? Cannot figure it out.
Now what?

Also problem: clicking on the update button crashes VG totally..
Automatic updates work fine..

In the data folder you will find a folder with the corresponding file name as the one in the models dir. You will need this folder and the models.lst file copy them into the data dir on the other computer.

Problem solved!
Reinstalled the software and used the same username and password as on my desktop (stupid me had used a different username)
Moving the model and data files did the job.

I usually use check for updates to make sure the data files are rebuilt. And just move the models folders. But you seem to be there. Well done.

I just installed VG and DeskBabes on a new Windows 7 64bit system.
I'm in the Process of Coping the Models and Data folders ( 285 gigs ) onto the new computer.

It reports that this will take 2 days, and is copyng files at the rate of 1.5mb per second.

So I found that My Anti-Virus and Anti-Spam software is checking each and every file as it is being copied.
I know these files are clean.

So I disabled my Anti-Virus and Anti-Spam programs, and Now the Copy is up to a respectable 35mb per second and it reports 6 hours instead of 2 days.

When the Copy is Done, I will Exclude the Models and Data folders from both Anti-Virus and Anti-Spam programs.

One Issue I ran into.
When I did the Install, the Software showed the correct location of my VGHD folder in the Install path.

After the Install was done, none of the Cards showed up.

I found that the Install had Added an EXTRA \VGHD\ on to the End of the Already Correct Path.

So I had to make a registry Edit to Correct these Paths.

I've installed and Moved My colection from computer to Computer numerous times.
This is the First time, that the Install Added this Extra \VGHD\ to the end of the path.

So this information is just to Share some tips on Moving / Adding your Collection to a Second Computer.

Sorry for the lack of computer savvy. I'm having the same problem. I can't find anything but .dll files and .exe files in my vghd folder. Where are the downloaded model files?
