Yesterday I downloaded preview show f1767, f1793.
No .xml file was added to the model card data directory.

Is this an omission, or a new permanent feature?

I think it is a permanent feature although I thought it only applied to version 2.1.

It was mentioned in the Version "blurb" on Discord

Remove useless file downloads (card.xml)

I believe it is a permanent change, that the individual card Data folders will no longer
have an XML file stored there.
Legacy XML files are no longer used by the iStripper App.

The App now gets this data from files located in the root Data folder.

Sorry, little question: could this be the reason why since last Wednesday every download always shows the label to update? (I have still not updated the UI)...

I had this problem too. Did you try updating the cards again? The banner on these cards eventually disappeared.

As for the .xml files, I deplore their loss.

I keep them in my backup files, as more detailed info files. So if cards disappear from the store, it's possible to access the info for these missing cards via these files.

J'avais ce problème aussi. Avez-vous essayez de remmettre à jour les cartes concernés. Le bandeau sur ces cartes à finit par disparaître finalement.

Pour ce qui est des fichiers .xml je déplore la perte de ceux-ci.

Je les garde dans mes fichiers de sauvegarde, comme fichiers infos plus détallés Ainsi si des cartes disparaîssent du magasin, il est possible d'avoir accès par ceux-ci aux infos de ces cartes disparues.

If you are using an Older, outdated version, then Yes.
when the Initial Download is made, the XML file is not included.
the Lack of the XML file in the cards data folder will cause the Older App to display the Update Sticker.
The Older version, should however, still be able to get the XML files and then the Update sticker will be cleared.

I have tried many times, but the "update" label always reappears as soon as the download is finished (I have version 1.2.360).

Thank you all for responding to my question about the .xml files.

I think it rather a pity that they are no longer to be downloaded, especially since they are very small, and cannot present any significant overhead in the download process.

In the past I have used the .xml data to identify cards where hair colour and ethnicity is absent from the GUI - or where there is an obvious error or mismatch with the data recorded on the website. (I even developed an excel VBA procesudre to read and list the .xml files in a coherent fashion.)

Maybe there is an accessible file on the server which might be downloaded in the same manner as istripper_properties and istripper_static_properties.

but unfortunately it's not same case with 2.0 one...

Oui, c'est vrai que c'est ce genre d'irritants, qui donne le goût de retourner à l'ancienne version.

Changer ce qui fonctionnait bien, et qui n'avait pas besoin d'être changé.

Je les aime bien les petits fichiers .xml pour les infos. Surtout lorsqu'une carte disparaît du magasin.

Je continue à explorer la version 2, mais ne comprend toujours pas que malgré la mise à jour d'aujourd'hui avec la version 2, j'ai toujours le décallage d'un jour des dates de sortie des cartes. Celle d'aujourd'hui est daté du 9, et les autres sont toutes datées d'un jour avant leur date de sortie, du moins pouur moi au Canada.

Je déplore la disparition aussi simple de la liste de lecture à droite. où l'on pouvait glisser les cartes à jouer. C'était tellement plus simple, que de faire des clics sur les cartes pour les sélectionner et faire un clic droit pour les ajouter en tête de la liste de lecture.

Je vais voir pour les changements d'aujourd'hui, ce que cela donne.

I like the little .xml files for information. Especially when a card disappears from the store.

I'm still exploring version 2, but I still don't understand why, despite today's update to version 2, I still have the one-day shift in card release dates. Today's is dated the 9th, and the others are all dated one day before their release date, at least for me in Canada.

I deplore the simple disappearance of the playlist on the right, where you could slide in your playing cards. It was so much easier than clicking on the cards to select them and right-clicking to add them to the top of the playlist.

I'll see how today's changes turn out.
