Small question. How exactly does the cashback offer work? Do you get the fifth card for free or do you still need to have the amount of credits available in your account to purchase it (so you can get it refunded afterwards)?

I now have f.e. 76 credits left which would bring me to 4 credits buying 4 cards. Will I still be able to get a fifth card in that case?

You have to buy 5 cards, so you must have credits to do that. Then, the least expansive one is refunded on your account.
You don't have to buy the 5 cards the same day. Before the end of the event, if you buy 5 cards, then the least expansive will be refunded.
