.... Do the cardboard and cell phone provide decent quality? If a headset is best, which headsets are a good option? Not sure how much I would use one, so want to be careful about cost. Thanks for any suggestions.The new Quest 3S was just released for $299 USD. You can still find Quest 2 for under $200. But they just dropped the price of Quest 3 512GB from $649 tp $499USD which has pancake lenses and better display resolution. If you're not into gaming, any of the Quest headsets are excellent for movie and TV watching. With some free software you can watch regular 2D porn movies with the experience of watching on giant IMAX screen. So they are great for watching regular 2D 1080P or 4K videos and especially for 8K 3D videos.

Thanks for the suggestions. I tried movie & tv software that's on my computer with a vr video I purchased here. The video was stretched and zoomed in so I couldn't watch it. What free software would play the vr video here correctly? I am interested in games as well, just concerned over the weight of the headset and how I'll respond to using vr for the first time. Read some posts that the weight of the headset and vr made some people sick so it limited usage. The prices sound good if I'm able to use them for a good amount of time.
