SO this morning I opened up the app eager to see which new card would be dropping. I was happy to see a xxx card. However I was not happy to see an abritrary price increase for said card. If it is that cards that feature more hardcore material will cost members more, then it stands to reason that cards that feature no full nudity from models new to this who are lesser experienced (as is shown by their performances which is expected and natural for a first timer) should be offered at a lower cost. Why is this card a "collectors" card and cards by other models that are also "uniqie" not? As was said in the card promo, the model was not instructed or made to go to the extreme. It was implied that she loves that ( which is great) and it was all a marvelous bonus. I am having trouble purchasing this card at this price. And even if I do ultimately get it. It will be under protest. And in all likelyhood make me disinclined to continue buying cards at the rate i have been recently. I may need to conserve credits for collector edition cards. And yes I was intentionally facetious and sarcastic there. This is upsetting and will turn off a lot of dedicated customers who have been supporting totem during this pandemic. There should be NO PRICE INCREASES during a global pandemic.
I really hope that I do not get banned for saying that. Time will tell.

That may be so. However we were not in a global pandemic then. We are in unprecendented times. It is unreasonable to expect members to pay more for cards when a lot of us have been laid off or are scraping by just barely and look to services like these for a bit of escapism. To help ease us through the *****. I maintain that this was short sighted and to be honest a bit ***** as a paying member who has been financially supporting totem during their tough times . Times where models are scarce and they have had to make do with what resources they have talent wise. I have not *****. But this is a bridge too far. There need to be some sensitivity by corporate heads in a time like this when their paying customers are ***** because of a GLOBAL PANDEMIC that has severely restricted our ability to earn. We are still purchasing cards at the least totem can also stay their hand at price increases or if the term price increase is offensive suspend "specially priced" cards. And make them available at the regular cost in the short term.

some of it to you, just ease your ***** but unfortunately it's not possible.

If we the paying customer can continue to support them during their difficult times then they can in the SHORT TERM suspend "Special Pricing"

I actually ***** to get involved, but I can't help myself. Nobody should be spending the rent money on strippers (real or istripper). This is a wonderful place to spent discretionary money. Each individual decides how to spend that extra cash. For example, some go to McDonalds and some go to Morton's steakhouse, some shop at Walmart and some shop at Louis Vuitton. Nobody is being ***** to buy regular cards or SEC cards. We make the decision based on our preference to spending "discretionary" money. iStripper is a luxury and should be treated as such.

As far as I can tell the extra price increase is worth about 40 cents. You probably spent 40 cents on the electromagnetic radiation it took for your computer to turn on, process istripper, open the forum, type the message and click send. I too feel like the price increase is dramatic but if you think about it...with reload discounts, 20% discount diamond discount, you are looking at a $2 expenditure for a truly special card. The product is expensive relative to pirated pornography, but not relative to other protected eroticism like onlyfans.

I don't have a problem with a Card costing a few extra shekels
Heck, Theres a few "Special Cards" I'd Love to add to my Collection for a few dollars more

I hear you!!! I just spotted that "for no reason" higher priced card. That will do it for me. I'm done buying credits. This is the same ole' story as before with the previous versions of this software. GREED is all it is. Also, have you noticed that the models don't stick around very long? Hmm......

1st strike, special event cards
2nd strike, removal of the $100 option in the credit bonus ($100 for 1300 credits).
3rd strike, reduction of the cash back bonus.

then there is the tier levels lmao.....

And now the higher pricing of cards. Like you said, to top it all off, they're doing all this during the pandemic. Disgusting...

Totem should have just flagged this card as a SEC.

I realize there have been more expensive "Collector's Cards" (term used in the card description) in the past, but aren't those usually erotic parodies or some such? At least one could thinly justify the extra cost as being due to costume and set details.

I suppose I'm asking too much from, let's face it: a porn company, but some transparency would be nice. What is Totem's justification for the price increase on this card? With the recent reduction of the cash back offer, and now a price hike on a card for no apparent reason, I can see the writing on the wall...

I stand with those against the price of this card, and can't wait to say a couple of choice words aloud (at Totem's expense) as I get it for free as part of the next cash back offer (which will probably end up being buy five get one free!)

But, since iStripper is in no way an essential service, I don't believe one can use the pandemic as any sort of leverage against it.

Thanks for sharing some of yours in an honest attempt to help others. I just needed to clarify my position which I believe is as valid as those who are in opposition to mine.

You closing point is valid. Still I think you'd agree that optics counts for something in the consumer market. We are their consumers. If nothing else it looks very bad. And as you pointed out there seems no logical justification for it other than increased profits. Other models have had very similiar outfits, tail and all.

I'd rather Totem releases these "Collectors" cards with slightly higher prices than another SEC you have to gamble for to get it. At least you can now choose to buy it (or not). I don't see why Totem should be taking the pandemic into consideration when it comes to pricing, it's not a necessity of life. If I go to a bar, drinks are more expensive since the pandemic started as well. I make my choice to buy a beer or not and I am happy that I can choose to buy a card or not.

And here I thought this thread was about another lockdown and problems with casting.

When credits are bought at 500 for $50 a credit has a value of $0.10, ten cents
The Card's base price is 35 credits instead of the Usual 25 credits, or 10 credits more.

For a member with Less than 10 cards, it's $1.00 more. 10 credits.
Every Level Silver and above receives their Member level Discount.
so it's Less than $1.00 above the standard card price.
For a Triple Diamond Member with a 45% discount
It's a $0.55 increase above the standard price.
If you're a Premium Member, then you also get your extra 20% discount for the 1st 10 days.

It's ONE card...
it's your choice, buy it, or don't buy it..

I also like beers and when I really want to have the beer I will buy it. here are beers for 1.50 euro a bottle (33cl) and you have them for about 10 euro, also 33cl. I am never obliged to buy that beer.
This is exactly the same, when you really like the girl, you will buy that card immediately.
I'm not interested in Marica Chanelle, so I haven't bought the card, otherwise I had bought it. It's such a small extra cost you don't even notice you made that extra cost afterwards just for one card.

I remember Gloria has a ton of regularly priced cards but her one XXX card is priced higher. Maybe it depends on the exclusivity?

EDIT: I checked out the card in question. Apparently, she's going to have all XXX cards, so my previous suggestion is invalid. Can't say the price is a problem for me though. Mostly, since I'm not getting any of her cards. Pierced breasts = No buy (unless her name is Kristy Black). I guess it's just a matter of philosophy: some want to have all the cards, others want to have a collection with only things they want in them.
