Yes well said wisc4fun, if Totem's going to put in a game of chance, at least show us the odds of winning. It's fair for the customers and will lead to increased sales.

I am very much in favour of Totem always publishing the odds of winning for these games. However the unconditional claim that this "will lead to increased sales" is by no means a certainty. Knowledge of the odds could disuade some (possibly many) from playing, especialy those that are currently trying for the SEC and/or joker cards, resulting in reduced sales. At best we can say that publishing the odds may lead to increased sales.

This old argument again; I'm still saying it; you have to BUY your credits here, just like in a casino when you BUY your chips when you walk in the door.

Of course, but on casino you can then convert your chips back into money, so your chips have a monetary value. Here, instead, neither you, neither Totem can ever do such a thing with credits - so, credits have no monetary value. And this is not a fiction but a substantial difference.
Because of this, indeed, only monetary transaction here is the credit purchase. All we do then with credits (acquire cards, win on gamble, lose on gamble) has no real value and Totem couldn't care less (economically speaking) about it.
Only thing that really matters for Totem and for the company's sustainability is how many times during our membership we'll click on that red button "Buy Credits".

In short:

Totem earns Money when we Buy Credits and not when we spend them in the Store.

2. Totem sells to us something (called "Credits") which are way more similar to Monopoly notes than to Casino chips.

3. All this is explicitly stated by Istripper license itself - which each of us had to accept and agree to, in order to use this software - on section 3. It says:

YOU FURTHER ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE THAT THE CREDIT SYSTEM HAVE NO MONETARY VALUE AND CANNOT BE REDEEMED FOR CASH. NO REFUNDS WILL BE MADE FOR THE PURCHASE OF CREDITS.

As stated by HansSachs, in the casio, you can turn in the chips for cash. Can't do that here.

As for posting the odds. While a few will delve into the details, most will not notice the true meaning of the statistics. Since so few will notice, is it worth the effort to present the odds. (how to present, which details, input, output, standard deviations, etc.)

A while back casinos is las vegas would post the slot pay out.

Since the casinos were advertising slot machines to slot machines, (a similar product) put in a dollar and you will get 96 or 97 cents back, it was easy to compare. I don't think they ever posted odd of winning a "big prize."

Those who want the odds posted. Please post the other site that has strippers and gambling with the credits posted. Then, we will compare the similar products.

I've been a member for over 12 years now, and I have almost 3,000 cards in my collection. I don't intend to have a full collection; I'm sure you can understand I don't want to pay for something I don't want.

I took part in your scratch game promotion, bought 41 scratch tickets, spent 340 credits and got 10 shows (3 are 720p and one 1080p) that I wouldn't have purchased if I had the choice. If I had purchased these cards individually, they would have cost me 120 credits in total. Do you notice the discrepancy?

Sure, after 35 scratch tickets, I got the new Special Card. But is that show really worth 220 credits and 10 unwanted cards?
Since most members don't have a full collection neither, does this promotion appeal to you: "Get 10 cards you don't want (120 credits' worth) for 340 credits and get one free"?

Is Totem trying to dissuade long time members from taking part in the scratch game or is this just to get rid of them?

Can something be done to stop this from happening in future? At least offering cards we actually want for that price or getting a discount on cards we don't.

Strippers are irrelevant to this issue. Every state lottery I've seen including scratch cards posts the odds.

Don't play the game. That's advise I don't always follow, myself. I played this "game" 35 times and spend more than was sane for an SEC card. I also got 14 cards I didn't want.

I suspect that is not by choice but because there is a legal requirement to do so. (I also suspect that the lottery providers resisted this as long as they could).

Much as I wish that iStripper would provide the odds i suspect that until they are required to by some law that they will not provide this information.

You may be right, but for a computer game failure to publish the odds is at the least underhanded. In all casinos the odds can be easily calculated and anything done to alter those odds is criminal.

If the laws allowing lotteries had not included such a provision do you think that the lotteries would have chosen to do so ? I very much doubt it.

These scratch games area better deal for those with small collections than for those of us with large collections. Period. Think about that before you play.

Want to have the SEC card? Really...how much is it worth to you? Also consider there will be a future event with an opportunity to buy the card.

As for me...there is no single card which I must have. I'll enjoy my thousands of other cards.

The crux of the issue is that the product is only sustainable because of people who buy cards they never or rarely watch. If I never buy another card I could watch istripper for 2000 hours...8 hours a day for 10 months and then there are still cards that I could watch infinitly and still "enjoy". I can watch the cards in slow mo, I could record them in fullscreen with filters to make them sharper, I could cut gifs, take stop motion pics, make compilations and photoshop images. The reality is I already have enough product to last for years. In fact my top 500 cards could last me years of enjoyment...yet...I am looking at the upcoming cards, wondering If I will like them, debating whether I should buy today's card...so in order for me to continue to support the company I have to continue to buy even though I have more than enough entertainment. So the entire process kind of feeds off of dissatisfaction or want.

So let the others do their ***** Stuff ....
