Totem puts a set of 16 best shows of the month up on its new website. 7/16 girls who are considered the best shows of the month happen to be american, even though it has been more than a year since an American girl was cast.

That's on the renewed FrontPage of iStripper. It's something else than the Talent of the Month.

Ah, I hadn't scrolled down that far. However we know even less about what the criteria are for "best shows" than we do for "talent of the month" so even less can extrapolated from it.

In case @orclover is getting the wrong impression from my postings I would welcome more Americans to increase diversity even though those filmed at the American studios were a poorer fit to my ideals than those from elsewhere. However, there are much bigger areas in which diversity is lacking - notably Japanese, Chinese, Indian, Arabic, African, South American and Meso-American all of which I would regard as being much more important to target than American. It would also be nice to get some experienced strippers and pole dancers (though I understand why that wish is not as easy to satisfy as it sounds). I am sure that Totem are doing their best given limited resources and budgets.

I think those 6 (it are 6) of 16 is because the most important market for Totem is the American market. Dillion Harper, Darcie Dolce and Alexis Adams are well known names for the American customers.
For continuing with advertising with American models at a certain moment refreshment is needed.

@zzmaskers - I agree, it could well be advertising designed to attract new customers rather than reflecting any specific criteria.

I've not paid much attention to this thread so I'm sure I missed a lot. But I do understand why @orclover asked for more effort; I was sorry that some of the recent US stars visiting Paris did not make it to IS. What I don't know is if it was a lack of effort or interest or if it just wasn't doable for other reasons. So I can't comment further on that.

I'm not sure how the Talent of the Month became part of the conversation. From what I can remember each months selection has been an excellent choice in my eyes but the selection process is somewhat arbitrary.

Subjective - eye of the beholder

the quality of her performance as a stripper,

Very subjective - does she wave, smile, point, pole dance - everyone likes different costumes and routines

Quantifiable - makes be think I should start rating but I couldn never give anything below 4 out of 5

the number of times she's been purchased,

Very Quantifiable - in my opinion this is the most important metric but it may not represent long time success of the card.

how long she stays in our top 20, etc.

If this means sales then same as above

And in case of a tie, we ask the shooting crew to choose the girl who has left them with the most unforgettable memories

@dar2112v - the thread starting talking about Talent Of The Month due to misunderstanding by myself. Orclover refered to a list of past best shows of the month which I thought was a reference to the Talent Of The Month. They are different, with no known criteria for selecting a best show of the month. which makes the assumption made by orclover that they were best selling shows a very suspect one - it may or may not be true but there is no evidence.

I'll just chip in with a personal comment and then I will go away.

Maybe I am just a simple Aussie and maybe my Australian tastes aren't as demanding as some, but I can honestly say that I see nothing special in North American women, that I do not see in Sydney or any other city around Australia or the UK, France or any other country of a similar racial background.

So for me if people want diversity, then ask for models of a racial background that is under represented in the models lis t, not because the model was born in one country instead of another.

Well that is my two cents worth.

It just matters how you FEEL! 😄 (and thus project into the outside world!)

I have come to realize my tastes are actually quite picky....and it is not fair of me to expect totem to cast a ton of girls that meet my desires. My #1 desire is for cards that contain twerking or sexy club dancing. And then girls with skinny waists, large breasts, and shapely butts. And then girl has to have energy and a hardcore side to her. ON top of all this I prefer hair down there. The reality is most girls from Ukraine do not meet these categories but are still very beautiful and it makes sense that millions of men and woman would love them. I get cynical because there are few girls I would want to see more than the two Americans that recently visited Paris, it feels like a huge missed opportunity from my end, but only my end, and most people couldn't care less.

I don't ***** at all about the casting and booking of ukrainian and russian girls.
I am, instead, EXTREMELY happy about them. And about Istripper.
Orclover has a point, though, when he says the quality of animations has gotten worse recently.
A few months ago I remember seeing a post by someone of the Team saying "now we shoot cards using green walls" or something similar, and then quality drooped a lot. I noticed above all a white contour around girls body, and image quite out of focus. It was particularly true in many december cards, but now luckily it looks to be getting better.
P.S. Only other thing I am unhappy about is the new card layout: I don't like it at all (and know I am not the only one to), so I would ask again if it would be possible to revert to the old, and far better, one.

Well, when you put it that way, I completely agree. And I also agree that I would love to see more girls like that. Now, please do not misunderstand, I am not saying that the models that move around slowly with little or no dancing are no good. I like them too. It's just that I, like @orclover, prefer the faster, more energetic dancers. I don't care what country they're born in. IMHO, if I wasn't told where they were from, I probably wouldn't be able to tell at all. Heck, I would even guess that about half of them actually were from the U.S.A., and I'm an American. Of course part of that might be because I rarely look at their faces, 😛 .

As for the diversity and variety currently available, I'm okay with it. However, like someone mentioned above, it wouldn't ***** to have more girls of different races. There are plenty of Caucasian models, but not enough Asian, Latina, Black, Indian, etc....
As long as they're beatiful and can dance, (preferably fast paced club dancing), I'm good.

Personally, I'm still looking for that one Great card. The one where the girl dances with a fast, sexy, energetic pace. With her Large boobs bouncing all over the place, her hips thrusting, (or twerking), a natural untrimmed full bush down below, and whipping her long thick hair all around.
The card where the model just lets go and goes wild. 😈
I have not found it yet, and it may not even exist, but I'm going to keep looking unless someone out there reading this can point me in the right direction.... 😉😉

Have you tried any of Jasmines's cards card numbers 710 - 715? , in my opinion her dancing is about as high energy, quick tempo as it gets, big boobs , little bit of hair but trimmed . image quality is pretty good for a standard cards. hig preistess is my personal favourite of her.

@littleEvilMe thanks for the tip, (that's what she said), on Jasmine. However, I think you meant 'Dark' Priestess instead of 'High' Priestess? If not, then I just bought the wrong Jasmine, 😛 .

But, yeah, Jasmine - Dark Priestess is the kind of dancing I prefer to see. So if iStripper Does rethink their casting strategy as suggested by the OP, then I sincerely hope that we get more girls that move like Jasmine. I don't care one bit where they are from or what language they speak. I'm not interested in anything she has to say, I just want to see her dance. And I apologize if that sounds sexist, but this Is a site for strippers, sooooo....

@shodan084 I checked out all of Foxxi Black's previews and unless there's more than one Foxxi Black or the previews are not an accurate representation of the rest of the show, then I didn't see anything that fast or energetic. Granted, she did move at a slightly faster pace than a lot of other models, just not as fast as I prefer, like Christiana Cinn, Olga, Alina, and now jasmine. And even they don't quite get wild enough.

So on the topic of casting, I would like to formally request that iStripper find and hire the wildest dancer they can find. Doesn't matter where she is from, what language she speaks, or what race she is. You need to hire her just for me. Because I'm asking nicely. Pretty Please? I'll be your bestest friend and happiest customer ever. And maybe someday I'll finally get that one Great card. The one where every standing and pole clip is one where you watch it and your first thought is "Damn, that girl is wild!" and your second thought is "She really needs to try decaff!" 😜😀
