I do believe you might be on to something here.

All the cards I bought with the "mystery packs" have a "coming soon" tag on them.

Some of them also have a flag "clips deleted" even if I hadn't had the card before today....

The cards are in color and have been downloaded but won't play...

Can anyone confirm what frae said? That you will get random 3k cards until you don't, and then move onto subsequent resolutions? I am very tempted to try it.

I have bought quite a few in the last hours and every one of them was either Deskbabes 3K, VirtuaGirl 3K or VirtuaGirl HD.

Just throwing this out there: What about a build-your-own booster pack? I'm not a collector, I'm not planning on buying every card there is. So this mystery pack is pretty useless to me. Because, knowing my luck, it will probably have some cards I have no desire in having. But if I had a customizable booster pack, I probably would have gone through 300 credits by now. And Totem would not be losing anything, a random msytery pack = a choose your own booster pack. Hell, it would probably convince more people to keep buying more.

If the random picked from the wishlist I'd join in. Otherwise ever since subscriptions were removed I've been very selective on those initial purchases. But otherwise enjoy having the opportunity to opt in!

I believe the idea was that you will get lower res cards once you have *all* 3k cards. :) I don't think there is many people with that problem, and most of them left out 3k cards that they really, really, really don't feel like buying - so I guess not many people will get 1080 cards with that promotion... ;)

I don't want any Deskbabes cards so this promo isn't for me.

Or maybe even have filters, and still have some randomness. Choose resolution, perhaps even dates of shows by year, and category. You may get Sabrisse or Sapphira, but if that's your thing, I don't think anyone would ***** either way.

I had to power cycle my laptop to get the "coming soon" to go away after purchasing a mystery pack. I've seen that coming soon is a computer date/time thing, but mine is correct..which leads me to many questions!

btw, all were high res shows. I got a few XXX shows, a duo and some nice regular cards. It's only my 2nd duo show...I wish I could filter those out, honestly, and get mystery packs without them.

btw..where did the "weekend sales" carousel go?

Just binged myself on 5 sets of those. After being a little disappointed with the first, the suspense kept me going and I felt that I got rewarded for it. All 3K as people confirmed and a good mixture for me. Ironically, while the last booster pack sale was not for me (not enticed by the first 10 cards offered), this one was more to my liking because of the suspense/mystery/surprise involved. Have to pace myself now not to go broke on this... and have to go on overtime now downloading all of these cards (not much of a highspeed connection). Thanks, Totem!

The play button is there now and the cards do play.

I'm not sure Totam appreciates the role of members' likes and dislikes. If I don't think the girl is pretty I don't want her card. and if I am in the middle, I may have a couple of that model but don't want anymore. It is pretty discouraging to purchase a "mystery" card and then delete it almost immediately, making it a "disappearing" card. So the price per card for me is how many I actually like- at 30% savings, after 3 losers I am underwater.

If that happens when you run out of 3k cards, than I must say I'm a bit disappointed. I recently found few gems in very old, and relatively low quality (graphical) cards that were great otherwise. Oh well, no plan to buy 12 more mystery packs and find out. Too many cards I really don't feel like buying, even at 30% discount...

No, he did not make it up - I also was congratulated and informed that Totem were very pround that I was their best member so far.

@TheEmu is correct. I didn't run out of 3K cards - I ran out of cards FULL STOP.

Before the sale started I already had all of the 3K cards and all of the 1080p cards. There were 141 off 720p cards that I didn't have. I bought 14 Mystery packs which meant that was it as far as Mystery packs went - I couldn't actually buy any more. I bought the remaining 1 off card so I now have all the cards except for some of the withdrawn cards and the VG classic collection.

i bought 2 mistery pack, i get 3 alexis tomas card, so now i have 4! I get other 3 card of girl i already own but with different dress.

14 total new card, i think that would be better if i get 20 totaly new girl because i dont buy girl with different dress.

Guys for you yea this Mystery packs are wow. NOT for me as this Friday. For you @kaiju and all TT small suggestion - could be possible to choose any cards as those 10. That is nice ticklish.
Question: some cards preview cannt see jump out - Warning. Why that?
