As a new girl to this site I saw that subscriptions are no longer available and members have to purchase cards via booster packs or individually.
I was wondering how you all are going to be choosing your girls in the future?

As a newly turned Silver member I bought Lucianna first as she caught my eye but have since purchased a bunch of Halloween themed cards and was looking for ideas on where to go next or how everyone else decides on which girls to buy.

Welcome to our crazy place @FlossieLashes..It depends a little on what you want to fantasise about I guess. Totem costumes models in themes like office, cowgirl, showbiz, uniforms etc.for diversity. Plain and simple.

I have been involved in some fullscreen artwork here and my lady partner usually vets anything SCN we decide on is good enough to share here. The model who best suits our mutal viewing in 90% of the time is Lorena. All her cards. For the model who kicked off the whole Michael Jackson strip dance style maybe Jana H - movie star or california suite ;))

actually its gonna be very easy for me since I have recently got all girls I wanted .. so now I no longer care about chosing older cards .. and its gonna be very easy for me to choose from just 6 cards each week .. so i just focus on them .. I usually choose girld by the first look on them .. anyway I can even afford to buy all cards from now and its still not that expensive (but I guess i will buy like 3 cards a week since I usually like 50% of cards).. FlossieLashes, for you it is much more complicated since there are too many awesome cards you dont have yet ... :)

P.S. if you like Luciana you can take a look at Angela Diamond .. they are very similar to me by the look ..

For me it was too hard to choose between the performers, so I was hooked from the first I purchased as resigned myself to collect every card.

@FlossieLashes: how one chooses depends largely on one's tastes, if you let us know what you are looking for specifically I'm sure lots of members (especially DMon1981 whom I consider the ultimate vghd girls expert) can give you helpful tips.

for sure it was mostly a personal taste if you like a girl or not. but i understand very well by the number of girls that are available that you want some help for your choose. but as it daid befor, some more details what you are looking for was also helpful.

For me, it is hip size. Then Waist to Hip Ratio. I noticed this bias recently. Most of VG girls I like tends to be with narrow waist and thick bottom.

I'm not gonna be much use either to you Flossie. I choose my cards based on whether or not the girl has charisma. Sometimes I see a demo and the girl may not be the hottest in the world but she can move, has great eye-contact and is sensual. Other times she just looks like she's REALLY having fun! Any of Paula Shy's cards are good for that :) Oh, and she is HOT! Marica Hase is also a girl who likes to have fun.

There is NO one girl or card for me that I would say is the best of the best. I love so many of my girls, it's impossible to say! Just go with what feels right for your tastes :)

Edit: @Flossie. I just had a look at your cards/profile. It appears you have a preference for dark or gothic girls. You can disable card views using the filters on the website and these filters will only show what you are interested in. Play around with it. You'll figure it out!

You asked how we're going to choose the girls in the future ..

Well, for me the good old carousel remains the only source to use, as far as it exists o/c. Because it still gives the best impression of the Girl (how she looks and performs) you've never seen before.

How to choose .. ? I'd suggest to start from thinking .. how would you like to see your collection to be .. If you want them all, there's no problem - just keep buying.

If you'd like to create your own collection from the favorites only (which I think is your goal), then it's a bit more complicated. Needs more time and dedication, but offers more fun as well.

Visit the Girls Store, get more familiar with them, pick the models which you would like to see on your desktop, watch previews, photos, pay attention to the ratings and user comments ..
But in the end it all comes down to your personal taste anyway. Your inner self will know the right answers, just give her a little bit of time and you'll figure it out, as Hombre says };-)

Just try to see the bright side in each model, to give more variety, color and fun to your future collection (shows). One type of performers can become boring over the time maybe ..

I usually let my manaconda do all the deciding, when its a good card he always comes out to play.

I have been with VirtuaGirlHD for a long time.
When I first downloaded and installed the program (cannot remember what version it was), there were 1 credit cards in a 'calendar' that showed three seven-day weeks, the last week being upcoming.
When I saw the calendar, I immediately was interested in several girls.
I bought several different cards.
Then, I bought all cards of certain girls that interested me a bit more than others.

My history shows the following:
2008-03-01 04:43:26: Creation of the account JonC001
2008-03-01 08:43:57: Purchase of Zuzana/Lonely rider
2008-03-01 08:47:31: Purchase of Jana H/Californian suit
2008-03-02 five more Zuzana cards and eleven more Jana H cards

After this, I was more selective, choosing only girls that were attractive to me.
They needed to have pretty faces, in my opinion.

2008-03-21 05:19:39: purchase of Lucynova/Hippies forever
this card made me 'Platinum' with 100 cards, including four cards no longer in my collection and no longer on sale at VGHD.

I was very quick at buying cards, becoming Platinum (the highest level based on number of cards at the time) in less than a month.

Later, I became much more selective and bought cards less often.

Now, (and in the recent past) I only buy cards of girls that are very attractive and skip the less attractive ones. Even then, I need to see their breasts so I will look at the video. If the breasts are good to me, then that will mean a purchase of every single card of said girl.

I have NEVER had a subscription and have NEVER bought cards via booster pack.



summary:
I became Platinum very quickly.
Girls need to be very attractive to me now.
Girls need to have good breasts to me.


Nothing else matters with two exceptions.
I will NEVER buy a card where the girl has no hair on her head (baldness is a deal breaker)
I will NEVER buy a card where the girl has tape on her breasts in the main card pic. (for more on this, when you become Platinum member, check out this topic:

When I buy a girl's cards, I usually buy all of her vghd cards, with only those above as exceptions.

(never mentioned DeskBabes)
At DeskBabes, I never had a subscription and never bought booster packs.
I did buy cards, usually duos, but quickly got tired of the website and cards.
I cannot remember exactly how I decided which cards to purchase, except for a few girls that I remembered from an older Totem website.

@W1ldcard: That's a little simplistic, my friend. Are you trying to scare off new potential buddies here? There are way more choices to satisfy all tastes imho. If anybody looks at VG and says, 'Nah. Not for me' Then I will happily set Miela on them with her Flash blade! ;)

Welcome FlossieLashes, It depends on what you are looking for out of VG. For me I choose a girl if I would like to look at her ALL day long, or if she is a good performer, which could be anything from a great personality and smile to ***** dance or pole skills. But the method that has never failed me: if I get an instant boner watching her demo, I buy the card on the spot!

That was my second card purchase as well!
My first was Melisa/Red light district

I choose to purchase and/or add to my favorites based on this rough algorithm:

• Model(s) go barefoot - get!
• Model(s) go footware-less but retain stockings [et. al] - get!
• Model(s) don't wear boots or high platform heels - get!

If neither of those three points are met then I will consider purchasing if the show is 30 minutes or more longer and the model is visually appealing based on one or more of the following: hair color, body type, smile, tattoos and/or piercings [including lack thereof], shaved or trimmed or full 80's bush, ...

In other words, it's all just personal preference.

I can highly recommend anything from: Cherries, Mia Sollis, Anna Tatu, Miela and Danielle Trixie.
