I have 7 hidden cards that just appeared in my collection today. Have no filters on to hide any cards. Would anyone have any ideas?

Some weeks ago I had the same problem.

The only question is to find the names and card numbers of the hidden cards. I didn't find any way to unhide these cards with the software, requests to the customer service were *****.

With the help of your file manager look at the models directory (the name of this directory is really "Models") and you get an complete overview of your collection. Make screenshots and print them. But I have the entire VGHD collection and I began to search in comparison the unhidden cards with the VG store. There are some difficulties: Camilla's and Divine's cards are disappearing. Not all numbers are taken. And you will need a lot of time to find your hidden cards.

Have you found your hidden cards, delete the directories with the numbers of the hidden cards. Rebuild your server connect (context menu of server synchronization button at the VGHD software's settings window) and redownload the deleted cards. May be you have to do this more than one time.

Sounds daunting. I hope somebody has an easier and faster way to unhide your hidden cards. Really.

Some members have reported that after using the clip View, and Unchecking a clip, the card has become hidden in the collection view.

You can tell because in the Upper left it reports 123/126 cards ( 3 hidden )
and also the Last page of your card collection will have a card Back with the number of hidden cards it.

To View all cards, type \w in the search box.

this will display all cards even the Hidden ones.

Then if you do a rebuild All, it should bring them back out of being Hidden.

Not sure what the actual cause is.

Thanks Arsena, after a bit of searching, I finally found my hidden cards. They were all from my DB collection. I tried deleting them from my directory and syncing again but that didn't work. Had to go to the DB Store find each of my cards and downgrade to 720p, seems like it would not recognize them anymore.

Some info:
Using anything in the search box that isn't a valid search criteria will Display Nothing, as there is nothing that matches your Search criteria.

Example:
Try searching for a name that doesn't exist like:
Marsha

No Cards will be displayed, because the Search Criteria doesn't match anything.

/w is not a valid search item.

but \w is.

it's called a Regular Expression
\w means Match anything that has the Letter
a to z or A to Z or number 0 to 9 or the Underscore _ in it..

So using \w would Match and display every card..

but /w is not a valid expression so it matches nothing.

Thank you Wyldanimal, that info will come in handy since my collection is getting a little too large to scan through all the time. By the way, all my cards are back up now but still don't know why they were not recognized.

Always a plus when a quick search finds the answer I needed for this. Thanks for the info and screenshots Wyldanimal.

This also might happen if you try to manually edit your shows to just play clips you like. The cards where I deleted cards individually are read by the software as "unknown resolution" so I have to redownload them to get them to appear normally.

Kind of a *****, but I guess it's not quite designed to have you do that, apparently.

One more thought... If you take the "\w" out the search window, the formerly hidden cards (12 in my case) are hidden again. So leave the \w in there.

I guess that's one way to keep all your cards in view..
but to Fix it, just do the Rebuild All
