For the last week and a half every time I replace a demo it automatically loads a recent demo and will not download new demos at all.

I have not changed any settings and all download options are checked.

Is this true for all users?

I even tried a fresh install and it still does it.

Any thoughts?

What version are you running? You can't replace demos with the current one. Is a beta still, but it fixed some past issues.

Now, you need to actually play the demos. Select all DBs or all VG and let them play. I noticed that if I leave only the demos for one product active, the others stay the same.

Other than that, dunno, I don't have a recurrent problem with the issue you describe. ;)

I am running 1.0.8.2 not the new beta. I decided not to do the beta this time around since the feedback appears negative so far.

I don't think I will like the upcoming version but oh well.

I am just wondering if they ended the demos.

Maybe I will rebuild my collection and see if that helps.

Nope, the demos are still running and updating as usual.

And well, actually, the beta is one of the cleanest versions I recall. But as said, still a beta, and I dunno if you can come back to your last working version. So up to you. ;)

I am running the same version and having the same problem.I try and replace them and it says I have had my limit for the day.There is a new version maybe we need to update,it does not have the replacement button.

IIRC, this may have to do with the software wanting to be manually exited before system shutdown before it will save your current place in the list of models to be demoed.

It may be fixed in the Beta.

I have tried everything and for more than a month I have not received a single new demo. The software makes no attempt at downloading a new demo.

All it does is cycle through the demo's I have already downloaded.

Does anyone know which file I need to remove so the demo's are not there anymore?

Perhaps if the software could not load anything it would actually download something. I tried to delete the text files but that didn't do any good.
