I just recently reinstalled VGHD and was looking forward to seeing my girls from awhile back. I have not used VGHD in a long time but was able to get it up and running. The issue I am having is getting my old cards to download. I can see them in My Collection, but I am not given an option to download them for some reason. I have only been able to get four to download.
Any suggestions?

Do you have an option to play them? Installing or Reinstall does not always mean that the data files are removed.
Short of that some screen shots of the problem etc.
Are you running the latest level of software (.75 or above), found on the advanced tab.

This was a new install on a new Laptop. I had it sitting here for about 3 hours and nothing was happening. It did download all of the card pic's and all the demo cards. Then sat there for about 2 1/2 hrs doing nothing. I checked the cards in my collection and there was no option to download them.
About 2 min ago, they started downloading. I hope they all finish, I miss my VG's lol. Can't wait to get new ones.

Glad it is working for you now.
This does serve as a warning for users with larger collections. It takes a while following installation for everything to work itself out.
I am willing to bet there was alot of CPU activity for the duration of the wait.

i just recently renewed my subscription to VG and cant get any of my cards to show up in my collection. if im on the website and logged in they are there but they dont show up in my V icon collection. how do i get them to show up?

@BLUE93003, I see you have 5 cards in your collection, go to the advanced settings and check you have the latest version .75. Left click on the check for news and wait for the V icon to stop spinning. This should solve your problem.

dmon1981, thanks for the idea but it didnt work. the problem started when the sub. ran out. when i resubscribed they disappeared. so i thought i did something wrong and subsribed again and it promted me to create a new screen name. my old one was blue930. thats where my cards are. for some reason even if the new account is logged off and im logged into my old one they still dont show up in my V icon collection in the systray. what do i do? i would love to have all my girls back!

@BLUE930. So you have two accounts? Do you have the password for BLUE930 as you are now posting under that account? You probably need to contact customer services to get the cards from second account moved to BLUE930. They will also be able to provide you with the password for BLUE930 if you don't have it. There is nothing further I can do to help you with this. Maybe someone with more experience might help further but I think it is customer services you need to talk to. Hope this gets sorted for you soon and good luck.

install one time VG, important, that give you the program uninstall, when you have install, use directly uninstall of VG, important not try yourself to made manipution in the registry, that not work.
now you install again and you can see the message, i have already one account here, you answer yes and write BLUE930 in the account more the password.
