I've read a lot of forums in my days (A LOT), but these are actually interesting and keep me reading (and laughing). This is my first VG post and my first EVER forum post anywhere (I must be evolving)! For now all I have is a few free trailers (money is extremely tight at the moment), but I love the software. I do have a birthday coming up (Dec.23) and Christmas is close so maybe I will get lucky and be able to pick up a few tickets soon so I can get my first VGHD card to start my collection. I am new here so if this is posted incorrectly or in the wrong place please let me know :)

@alerte and Starryk -- The work you have done is awesome and I think you both deserve a medal of honor and creativity. I look very forward to learning from you and your work so that I can create and share amazing skins as you have. You have inspired me and I will start to work on one soon.

ps: After spending a few hours in the forums it seems to me that alerte is an interesting and unique person (and I mean that in a very good way) and yes I read about his "vacation" and I wish him a speedy return and hope everything works out for the best.

well for the recent version of VGHD i haven't done any skins yet.
flamingo has done the most skins for the new version.
The replacements ... well i guess you saw them on alertes site as they normally are in the Platinum members section at least the cards i made.. i started to collect the available replacements when i got to the platinum rank (100cards in collection) and provide them in one zip.
That wasn't available before i made it. The cards were spread over 20+ threads and had to be collected manually if one wanted to use them.
Then alerte came up with his big font cardstyle and i edited all available replacement cards so that they also were available in that font style. Later then i started making new cards in this style so that replacements still were avaialble for all shows. Thats how i got into the cardpic designing.

@Starryk -- I would like to try my hand at card creating in the near future, but for now I am having fun working on my first skin. Unfortunately I have had very little time to spend on my project so it is going slow, and trying to find the right content for the skin is a task within itself (or maybe I'm just being too picky,lol).
