You're right, the only reason I would switch is a 64b version with a return of the caroussels.

I don't see any real improvements in these changes for my needs. The 360 version also works great for me.

What a waste of energy and time. Like the last useless cards downloads, which I did because of the error with the update banner . But if it suits others, good for them.

You have to Manually right click the SysTray Icon and Open the UI.

I installed 512 and added the command line switch -from Silent. When I go to shell:startup I can start the shortcut and it does start silent. But if I reboot, it still open the splash window. I also tried removing -fromStartup and it acts the same. Am I doing this right?

I withdraw my statements about me not seeing the phantom left clicks. I now see the same symptoms as the others have reported.

I was making a silly mistake when I was trying to reproduce the problem as I was not minimising the GUI to the task bar. I was closing the window which for me is pretty well the same thing. I have iStripper pinned to my task bar so minimising the window and closing it look as if they have the same effect, I can only tell the difference by running task manager. I can't remember when I last used the real minimise button.

@Alkasyn The app (apparently all versions) are not showing the discounts correctly. It appears that you will actually get CHARGED the correct amount- I got a price correction during the app buying process and did get charged the correct amount- but it might be safer to buy from the web store.

Changing the iStripper setting as per @WyldAnimal 's post changes what the putative phantom left clicks do. My posts were about a possible source of those "phantom" mouse clicks - none of which I have seen with these new beta versions.

To be honest, I do think that the problem you are seeing is most likely due to something within iStripper itself, but then there is the complication that it does not affect everybody.

Thank you for the video. I misunderstood your (and TheEmu's) earlier comments about mouse settings. I thought you were talking about Windows mouse system settings and that's where I tried different options and selections without any effect on the issue. I didn't even remember that there are mouse settings in iStripper software :)

Your video illustrates very well, what is going on and about the "phantom click". I have mouse setting as "Enlarge/Reduce", which explains behaviour in my (and Socialhazard's) system and how it's different for you and anyone, who has is as "Pause/Resume".

This will surely be addressed somehow in future beta versions and of course in the final version later on.

There's either been no information or it was a sneak-patch, but now all shows cost 16.50.

Is that expected?

Object: Detection of a Phantom left mouse click on the model after minimizing the UI in GPU rendering.

Expected: Minimize UI and Model keeps playing.
Actual Results: After minimizing the UI, if the mouse moves in to the models bounding box, a Phantom Left Click events happens.
Depending on the Left Click Settings in Settings, That action takes place.

I wanted to test all Mouse events, so the demo video has many more tests than Just reported above.
The Only Sounds, are when an Real Mouse Button is pressed.
Notice the Phantom Left Click, does Not generate a sound, or Visual indication that Windows Generated the Click.

In the video: I used a light Gray for Mouse Highlighting.
a RED Circle for LEFT Mouse Clicks
a GREEN Circle for RIGHT Mouse Clicks
and a CLICK sound for Mouse clicks.

This is what is happening for me again this morning. Everytime I pass the cursor over the model in full size when the app is minimized it switches to small. Thanks for pinning that down to something repeatable. And yes it only does it in GPU mode and I am also using NVIDIA (RTX 3070).

The "large clickable area issue with GPU mode" was in earlier versions with GPU mode the clickable area for the model sometimes became a larger area of the screen or even the whole screen. For me at least.

Unfortunately the option to "start minimised" no longer seems to be available which would be another option.

Starting minimized would be much better than what it does right now which occludes things as the system is loading startup programs. Also, honestly I don't want someone looking over my shoulder seeing it load!

I like having the splash screen displayed while the program is initialising, Previously it was possible to try to use something too early and which would sometimes cause the program to fail, the splash screen provides an unmissable indication that the program is not yet ready. The alternative would be to open the GUI with it looking normal but with nothing working (which would probably ***** people) or to delay opening the GUI at all until it was ready.

Unfortunately the option to "start minimised" no longer seems to be available which would be another option. Like you I really wish that they would reinstate this option.

On my PC, there is no way to make the app start minimized in the systray like previous versions. If that's a bug, that's fine, but if it's a choice, that's really bad and not desired.

It seems to be by design. I agree completely that it is one of the most unlikable features of the new version.

On my system it seems to average 4 percent CPU with 6 shows playing. Have you tried GPU rendering? It is an option in settings.

When is the release for iOS?

Overall I like this version but could you please get rid of the splash screen at startup? I rather have it silently load with just a systray icon.

As was I when I first encountered it - but I was wrong. Depending on the hardware it can be ridiculously easy to trigger accidental mouse events. The difference you see between when using the GPU and CPU could be due to the difference in CPU load affecting the effective sensitivity (a busy CPU would be less sensitive to closely spaced events).

Again, I am not saying that this is the explanation, but ruling it out is harder than you would first think.

The flag "New" is missing on the new cards downloaded, before opening them by clicking on the card in My Collection tab. I would like to see it again.

Some additional information: I changed my mouse settings (and back), but it didn't have any effect.

Also, when I minimize the software window after starting the show in full size, desktop mode, I can click my mouse as many times I like outside the performance of the model (so that there are no mouse-clicks "waiting") and even after that, when I just move the mouse on model, no matter how long I wait, it switches to small size. All that it needs is that before that I minimized the software.

I am convinced that there are at least no accidental taps or clicks triggering that. I have taken good care of checking that. Also, as this happens only whena I use GPU and systematically, every time after that same sequence (start show --> minimize --> move mouse on performer), and regardless how long I wait before I make that mouse move, I believe it has something to do with interaction between the software and my graphic processor.

But again, I don't mind this behaviour that much... If it's a bug and remains in the final software, no ***** done :)

That can be enough to generate a "tap" (mouse down, mouse up) if the system is too sensitive. I have seen it happen just by picking up a mouse. What you describe is pretty much what was happening to me before I changed the sensitivity (it was not happening every time, but was a frequent happening). I have seen it happen with touchpads, wired mice and trackballs.

Or what you think is one tap is actually two shorter ones (like keybounce can do for keyboards if the keybounce suppression period is too short).

I am not saying that these symptoms are due to the system outside of iStripper being overly sensitive, but nothing that either of you have said so far rules it out.

@Wyldanimal I will test this later on, but the issue doesn't really bother me. I thought at first that it is designed that way - that when you minimize your software, the show defaults to small mode - although I couldn't think of why that would happen only if I move my mouse :)

@TheEmu I should have mentioned that I use regular PC and wireless mouse (no touchpad). And in this phase...

As I said, not a big deal but maybe interesting information to developers. Maybe this depends on what graphic processor one uses? To me that happens only if I have GPU selected instead of CPU (my PC has "NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070"). In my graphic settings in Windows I have given vghd.exe "Best performace"-setting (only software in that category, the rest are "Let Windows decide"). EDIT: if I remove that "Best performance"-setting from vghd.exe and let that be decided by Windows as the rest of the programs, it doesn't have effect on this issue.

I have known cases where just touching the touchpad as I started to move the mouse was seen as begining with a very short tap - rather like keybounce - no matter how careful I was. I fixed that by reducing the touchpad's sensitivity to taps. before

I have tried to reproduce your symptoms by following the procedure you outlined - but I don't see a switch to small mode unless I deliberately "tap" when starting to move the mouse pointer.

Quick update
I've added the ability to record and playback Movement - Motion Loops
Hold down the right mouse button and Move the window around to record the motion.
when you let go of the right mouse button, the recorded movements are played back.

to stop and erase the recorded movements, just Right Click in the app window.
You are then ready to record a new motion path.

Hi everyone, the 2 problems of "I bought a card and it was bought twice" and "iStripper window is shown even though I launched it in silent mode/at Windows startup" should be fixed in the 1.2.512 version. Please let us know if you still experience them with that (upcoming) version!

I deleted all my cards and have been downloading them and deleteing the clips I dont want lately. I downloaded the beta and continued to do what I have been doing. I downloaded all sonya blazes cards and disabled the clips I did not want on the first card and Istripper crashes (not surprized at all it crashed...) anyways now all her cards show as not downloaded when I know they are. So here is a bug report for you. youre welcome 😆.

Well even with the Beta Version my Problems still exist, the Tabs "Featured, Events, VR and Forum are empty and do not load.Also do the Credit and Profile Tabs not work.And dont tell me my ISP is blocking this Stuff, all this works fine over the Browser, without a VPN.

Hi, this looks like a firewall/antivirus issue where the program iStripper is being blocked from accessing web pages. The new beta 1.2.512 now has a signed executable file, please let us know if you still encounter the problem with it. If you do, can you try deactivating your antivirus before launching iStripper and tell me if it works without it (just for the sake of testing for now)?

I don't think the issue is in the sensitivity to taps in this case. It seems to be about moving the cursor on screen.

I made a test:

1) Start the show in full size
2) Minimize the software window

3a) Place the cursor in a place where the model (in standing clip) soon will walk and take your hand off your mouse. When the model walks over the cursor, nothing changes: the show continues in full size
3b) Wait for a full minute and don't tap mouse on anything, just keep the cursor in one place. Then simply move the mouse slightly over the model, again not tapping on anything, and the show switches to small size.

If I close the software window (instead of minimizing in point 2) above), this error does not occur. Only minimizing the window and then moving cursor over model makes it switch to small size.

EDIT: this happens only in GPU mode. If I change the mode to CPU in Settings, above described issue does not occur.

That does not happen for me. It looks like that in your case the software is seeing spurious mouse events, but if so then I have no idea as to where they may be coming from.

It is possible that your and @Socialhazard can ameliorate the problem by adjusting your mouse or touchpad settings, in particular the sensitivity to "taps".

It looks like we want to be able to choose from all versions, or from the latest versions of this app.
From what I've read, this new version changes too much of what I like.
I ***** being pushed into versions I don't like.
Why to change something that is good and works ????????

I have had similar symptoms in the past, but it was not just with iStripper. It seems that my laptop's touchpad was occasionally generating spurious mouse click events even if I was not touching it. It seemed to occur when the edge of my hand just brushed the edge of the laptop close to the touchpad - I suspect that the cause may have been indiscernible static discharges. It has not reappeared since I have relocated and, coincidently or not, my laptop is now situated in a place where I am less likely to accumulate a small static charge (my dining room as opposed to my bedroom).

I am not seeing anything like that, at least in Windows 10. The girl controls seem to be working just fine and not doing anything strange. I do wish Totem wasn't so eager to close the Playlist and Now Playing tabs though when you switch screens. It's nice and all to get them out of the way, I suppose, but once I have opened them on the collection screen I would like them to be open on that screen when I moved back to it.

Also, the Featured screen has taken to spawning shifted about 5mm to the left when maximized. The other screens are centered properly, but not this one.

Full size switches to small size without me clicking the model or anything else. Happened a few times now. 😕 Not to be ***** with that large clickable area issue with GPU mode. OMG, just happened again. No click, I just moved the cursor around. Only happens rarely though.

ReSizing the APP:
Clicking and ***** within 30 pixels inside of the 4 corners allow the sizing of that corner
Moving the App window around:
Clicking and ***** more than 30 pixels from an Edge allows Moving of the entire app
Change the update speed:
Clicking within 30 pixels of an edge, alters the update speed of the captured frames.
bottom edge = slow
top edge = medium
left edge = fast
right edge = max speed
(always move the mouse pointer outside of the app window to allow the timed updates to take place )
( when the mouse is inside the app window, updates are random )
( when moving the window, updates are as fast as possible )
Quit - Close the App:
DOUBLE click in the app window to close it.

How does it work?
My app is invisible with an invisible image on it.
When it opens, you can't see it.
It takes a Screen Capture of the primary display. ( only works on the primary display for now.. )
it then Pastes the screen capture in to the image on the app and sizes it to fit.
So now the App has a smaller image of what was on the Primary screen.
but now you can see the app and this smaller image.

It now takes a new screen capture, which now includes this smaller image of the 1st screen capture.
it then Pastes this captured Image into the App Image and sizes it to fit.
So now the Image has both the screen image and the 1st smaller screen image in it.
This is repeated over and over again, each time creating a new smaller image
and this I call Visual Feed Back.

Something to try:
You can Manually do this with an Image editing app.
take a screen capture.
open you image editing app, but don't make it full screen
leave a border around it, so you can see some of your desktop in the area around the border.
Now past the screen capture in your image editor
Max the pasted image to fit in the app window.
So you now have a smaller version in the editor of your 1st screen capture.

Now take a new Screen capture, and Past it into the editor.
Repeat a few times..
See how the Image resembles the Visual Feed Back.

What I dislike most is that istripper is no longer using (or allowing for) Windows 8.1 in this (and newer) version.
I am happy that 12376 still works for me.

Same here. I'm using Windows 7 and I can't upgrade my system for many reasons and I don't want to.

***** thing, and not specific to this beta, but I find the labelling used in Store to be not completely logical.

Currently there are 5 sections in the Store: "All", "Coming soon", "Sale", "Special Event Cards" and "Wishlist"... "All" is not really all here, is it. Seeing the sections listed like that one could easily expect the "All"-section to include "Coming soon" and "Special event cards", too, but of course it doesn't.

I would make following changes:

1) Create just 3 main sections of the Store: 1 = "Buy now" (same as current "All"), 2 = "Coming soon" and 3 = "Special Event Cards". These are mutually exclusive categories if you continue the practice that information of future SEC is not given ahead of release.

2) Then you can create new "All" section, which contains ALL above three sections

3) After this you should keep current "Wish list" and "Sale" sections, but these should be somehow visually distinguishable from the above three, and not listed like now, because these are just subsets of of new suggested "All" category from point 2) above.
