Hi, I just have a simple question. I seacrhed the forums and couldn't find anyhting so sorry if it's already been answered.

I've had VGHD for a while but never really figured out if it was possible to autostart the program everytime I logged into my computer. Meaning that the program will start and girls will start danceing automatically. Is that possible?

Well, you could try this:

Make sure that a shortcut to VGHD is in your "Startup" folder in your Start menu. I believe the program puts one there when you install anyway, but it's always a good idea to double-check.

Then go to the Advanced tab in the program options and uncheck the box "Always Start Disabled". This will cause the program to start up in whatever state it was in when it was last terminated, so if when you log off or shut down your computer, the program is active, it will be active when you turn it back on.

Go to the task manager (CTRL-ALT-Del).
Close vghd and the vghd downloader.
Reboot (restart) your computer.

Could that fix your problem?

thanks can321. i had it in the start up folder as well as the box unchecked but it didnt work. i guess it was because i deactivated it whenever i shut down my computer. i'll remember to keep it running next time. thanks for the help guys.

to GoogaMooga,
it is weird that the system tray has disappeared, but i think your problem will be solved if you do what JonC001 said to do.

I am sorry, but it didn't help at all. Nothing changed.
It is very bad for me, because when I have a serious important work on my comp I switch off VGHD, it takes more than 90% of CPU usage.
So I'll have to uninstall it in the nearest future.
It seems to me there is some bug in my system, because sound volume icon is missing too as you can see on picture above. But sometimes it appears there OK.

you can also try this:

right click on your task bar and click on properties
the click on the notification tab
here you can select the items to appear on your task bar, because maybe your vghd and volume icons are turned off.

I guess he means this screen shot:

Properties can be found by right clicking on the task bar (lower right of the screenshot).
Properties can be found by right clicking on an empty spot on the desktop, then clicking on Personalize (last item in the list), then clicking on Taskbar and Start Menu (top picture in the screenshot).

Properties is the lower left of the screenshot. Notifications is a tab there.

Thanks to all, folk, for participation in resolving my problems!
My "Taskbar & Start Menu Properties" window differs slightly from yours, but it doesn't matter.
My "Network" icon never disappears and "Volume"... I guess I can live without it.

Thanks alerte, it works all right!

About the difference:

I have Windows Vista Home Premium, Service Pack 1.
Do you have a different Vista, or even Windows XP?

My problem has vanished at long last. I deactivated VGHD by clicking Ctrl+(-) and restarted.
I have WinXP Pro SP2 updated to SP3 and IE8, that is why difference I suppose. Thank you!
