Not sure if this is the right place to identify this, but I'm getting some type of bug when I hit the enlarge button. Some of the girl's disappear, or drop off the screen when you touch it. When it does work, they'll play in slow motion, & the sound is distorted. Please get this sorted out, it happens so frequently that I'm now hesitant to enlarge any of the shows.

There are 2 things l didn't figure out so far, maybe you can help.

First of all, is there not a separate preview page like before? l mean where and how can l check my previews?

Second and most important, in the shop and collection pages, is there a way to make the girls pictures smaller so l can
handle them easier like l used to before or l have to pass trough endless scrolling?

It sill take a little time to get used to it but these 2 aside, l ***** it.

In iStripper 2.0 there currently is not a way to See all of your Previews as a group.
This function has been requested.

in iStripper 2.0 the ability to adjust the size of the card image has been removed.
Card Size Adjustment has been requested.

In pre-Alpha testing, we are currently testing out a New Feature
which should help with Browsing the Collection

I don't know if I have some setting wrong but ... I just Auto loaded the pushed Ver 2.0 Now when I watch a show in Full 4K, every clip freezes when it ends (does not close) however in small mode, they close normally and the next clip plays. Also after clicking Start.. when I click the 'Skip the show' button, it closes the clip but does not do anything else. Always says 'Skip the show' and wont won't resumeSelecting a different card then going back, it changes back to Start and works for one clip freeze againFor me, this is unusable... going to go back to V1 stable unless this is just a 'settings' issue.

I'm having the same issue. While I LOVE this app, right now, I can't use this. Please let me know how to fix this if it's a setting issue or if it's a programing issue, please let me know when it's fixed.

Cannot permanently disable the auto downloading of previews. What gives?
I uninstalled it immediately and went back to my 2023 release.

No dedicated page to see existing previews.
Then there was a version of iStripper some while ago that let us watch previews of the gated cards (albiet at the cost of ***** auto downloaded previews), which is seemingly no longer the case in this version.

So yea, what gives?

I don't know what else to say.

As well as also wishing for the return of the previews page like others, as I often made more purchases though that than checking daily for new cards.
Also when you went into the card, you had a list of all the clips, and could select which clip you wanted to watch. This is now no longer there?

Actually, the list of clips is there and it is easier to access..

in previous version you had to Enable it 1st in the advance setting.

Then to See it, you had to go to the cards Details page, then click on the Icon for the List of clips..

in 2.0, It is already enabled.
in the collection view, just right click on the card and select edit clips

It also works in the details view, but you Don't HAVE to go to that view to see the list of clips.

It works in the Playlist too.
right click a card, edit clips.

Sorry, but it's not easier to access.

First of all it's hidden, you have no more dedicated page. You have to right click card and then click again and so it will be opened only a terrible small popup window which:
1. slows down animations while is opened (and I keep clip list opened during all time I play cards...)
2. Is very small, so you can see only few clips listed and you have to continually scroll. Unlikely the old version, you can never get a full vision of the whole list. Not functional at all.

You (and others) quoted the fact in old version the list function had to be activated. But this is for me not even an argument in favor of new version. Once you had done that just 1 time, the function was always active, so no bother at all.

Moreover... in order to get the list, on old versions you have to click on card (1) then click on the list icon (2) (and so you get a beautiful and user-friendly full page list).
On new version 2.0 you have to right click card (1) then click the list function (2) and you get the small list in a popup.
You practically need same amount of clicks both on old version and new one in order to get the list...
So, another argument which I heard several times in favour of new versions' list (less clicks), has no real value.

This new version 2.0 is a disaster. Someone forgot that users exist and need to be respected. While the design is elegant and consistent it ignores the basic usability and is not enjoyable or intuitive.

I am going back to the previous version.

I am quite happy with the new version. It did take me a while to figure out how it worked. I especially like customizing the theme option, it would also be nice if you could save/create a theme. You will need to update the guide on your Help Center, that would help people to know where to look for things they enjoyed in previous versions. It would be nice customize the color of the shadow filter in the graphic render too, I remember having this option long ago in previous versions. Istripper sure has come a long way since the old Virtuagirl days. Thank you for all the creative efforts through out the years!

I agree, tygi19my but how do you get back to the previous version without completely loosing your cards and stuffing up istripper more? 😟

Perhaps I should just wait for the next update and hopefully the programmers wiz gurus will address and fix the problems that many have been displeased about. This is the worst update in what has been very functionable pleasing UI with istripper 😐

This statement was right when the 2.0 was in beta test.

Yes, it is 100% correct, while 2.0 was still in Beta.

But now that it has been set to the current Stable Release version
changing the Advance Setting called Version Type
will no longer install the 1.2.552 version
It will install 2.0

To revert back to the 1.2.552 version
Close and Quit iStripper
you then need to Manually download 1.2.552
then Install it OVERTOP of your current version.

( do not uninstall, Unless you are instructed to by the team. )

Can't use v2.0 Mac on M1
Keeps crashing, playback stutters no GPU support.
Won't play clips - saying settings don't allow it and to check eroticism levels and collection settings. Both are set to all and still doesn't work.

Auto preview downloads is annoying - I would like to turn this off as before.

Have to go back to older version because it just doesn't work.

,,New Versions are not always making it better..." This sum's up pretty much everything very perfectly... I already ***** the Beta/Test-Version when it was out and just went right back after seeing it/testing some things with the new Beta-Version and found it to be very bad. This new 2.0 version is a disaster and NOT USER FRIENDLY AT ALL! 👎👎
From what I seen in the comments, that you even not can stop automatic downloading Preview Clips, is just one of the things. you can call simply a big step back, than improvement/upgrade!

I am trying to figure out why some people have such a negative reaction to 2.0. I have been using it since early beta (trust me, it's greatly improved since then) and prefer it quite a bit over 1.0. But there is a learning curve. If you went down that curve you would see a LOT of usability improvements, but you have to work with it. What surprises me is that people are ***** about things that are the greatest improvements over 1.0. Like the detail page for the models. You click on ANY of the model's card and RIGHT THERE you see which cards you own and which ones you could buy. No messing with little icons. It's right there.

I thought this was pretty slick and like it a lot.

From any model picture you right click and have all the menus available to manage the card, play the card, create playlists, it is ALL RIGHT THERE. You can open the clip list on a card and add different clips to different playlists and even create the playlists as you go. I have both imported and newly created playlists (a LOT of new ones, I was testing this) and it is simply VASTLY easier to create them in 2.0.

And people say how much better the old interface was! I don't get it. The old interface was, frankly, clunky. And had an even longer learning curve, NOTHING in 1.0 is obvious! And the new one, once you get used to it, is very pleasant to use.

The new 2.0 is being improved constantly and if there are things you miss (or haven't found, and yes, some of the controls are not obvious- like the preview enable / disable toggle, which IS there) you need to say what they are. Certainly the beta testers weren't shy about that, we were a noisy bunch! And some of the changes we wanted have already gotten into 2.0. And I expect more are on the list to do. But if you don't give feedback on it (based on more than a couple of hours of use) you won't get what YOU want.

And I absolutely agree that documentation is lacking. This, ah, isn't a new issue.

Btw, a number of Totem technical staff have been on vacation, they're not ignoring you. I think they're back next week.

No messing with little icons.
I can not see this as an improvement...

Those "little icons" do open in old version a perfect FULL PAGE for each function, so you can see e.g. all pics and all clips listed just at a glance. Which once opened, it is much easier and faster, much more convenient and satisfacting to use.

Now the Detail page has instead become a sort of mess filled with too many things and all tabs are so small and partial, so you'll have to bother yourself scrolling up and down tons of times in order to merely choose a pic;

moreover, the clip list has become a small popup with just few clips listed, which even slows down animations while it's opened.

I can not even imagine anyone bothering to scroll down after only each 3 or 4 comments readed, no one is going to read comments anymore.

I am not against per se to the "right click" system neither to "all in a page" one, but they should much preferably have been added to old system instead of totally replacing it.
Images tab and Comments one should at least e.g, have a title bar which you can click, opening a full page view for people preferring such one. Same way for Clip list.

@Bitwrangler

At last a voice of reason and sanity.

I too have been testing the Beta versions for months now and there is no way I would go back to one of the older versions.

When I first started using it there was a big problem (for me) with fullscreen scenes. Far from ignoring the problem one of the dev's spent several days exchanging PMs with me and it was eventually sorted. Not only did they fix the problems I was seeing but they also went a stage further and made it so that if you are using a playlist or a defined queue then all the girls in multi-girl scenes come from the playlist/queue.

Ths improvements to Themes/Skins is also almost unrecognisable compared to earlier versions. In fact you can just pick a picture (needs to be of the correct size) and a colour theme which you can also adjust on the fly. Only drawback currently is that you can't directly save them ( you can still create the palette file and a thumbnail and save the them manually).

Also I have to agree that playlists, for me, are far easier to create in version 2.0 than in the old version. In fact it was so cumbersome in the old version I only created a couple of playlists. Playlists aren't my major use for iStripper but I have created many new ones - some of them for use with specific fullscreen scenes.

Accessing clips list is far easier - just a simple right click on a card to access it. You don't have to keep going backwards and forwards to the card details page to get to the clips list. You can still access it from the details page but now you can also access the clips directly from the collection or from a playlist. In fact if you edit clips from a playlist the card is ONLY EDITED in the playlist - it does not affect the card in the collection.

I am stiill not sure why there is all the negativity with "Right clciking" to access menus. It is something that seems entirely natural to me and a feature that I have felt has long been missing from iStripper. I use right click all the time in other software so why not in iStripper.

Everyone has different ways of using iStripper and I think part of the problem is that people are blinkered by this. V2.0 doesn't work exactly the way they want it to and therefore it is crap. No giving it a try to see if they can find alternative ways of doing things or searching posts to see if ther users have encountered/solved the problem.

How many posts are there about turning off previews and editing clips and how many times have support and other users explained how to do this only for someone else to post two minutes later that they can't turn off previews or edit clips.

Using any new software requires a bit of time to get used to. Yes there is no documention currently available but to be honest looking at the numereous requests for edit clips or disable previews and the number of times these have been responded to, I doubt anyone will bother to RTFM.

Yes there are still some issues that require fixing and I suspect there are are priorities for these. I would imagine that fixing the freezing clips issue (which I haven't personally seen) that some have reported more important than adding a slider to adjust the card size in the collection.

Patience is needed whilst such things are addressed. Despite the fact that many people are saying the software hasn't been tested it has by many users in the Beta testing. They have tried to iron as many problems as possible but there are only a finite number of harware configurations for some of the testing. Some users currently ***** may have a hardware issue that hasn't been tested tested because no-one else in the test group has that particular configuration.

One final thing to consider also is that software itself becomes obsolete. It my personal opinion that the old version of iStripper may be using old versions of the QT software and libraries. I think the lates version 2.0 is also an update to a newer version of QT to try and future proof the app against QT no longer supporting their old versions.

Sorry, but telling new version is not good on many aspects is not unreasonable nor insane.

If a new version doesn't match your needs but old one perfectly did, you'll never be able, of course, to consider new one as an improvement.

As just an exemple -
Accessing clips list is far easier - just a simple right click on a card to access it.
Sorry, but it isn't.
2.0 - right click on card, then left click on Edit clips - it opens the List popup
1.0 - left click on card, then left click on the Icon - it opens the List full page
Same amount of clicks, same time spent in order to access data.

Issue is that, unfortunately, I don't like to get a mere popup as Clip List, at all. Because:
1 - I like - and I find much more useful - to see all clips listed just in a glance. Having to scroll is cumbersome and you have to waste much more time in order to find what interest you
2 - The List popup slows down animations while it's opened. And I keep Clip page always opened while I watch a card.

As I already said, I am not against "right click" nor "all in same page" system per se, but I would need also the possibility to open a Full Page (which is, in many ways, much more convenient, fast, user friendly) if user asks to.

That is only true if you are editing the clips for one card.

For multiple cards you have to leave the Details page and go back to the Collection. Then click on the next card to open the card details page and then click to access the clips list. Doing this for a number of cards is really tiresome having to go back to the collection page and then having to open the card details page each time.

Editing from the collection page only requires simple clicks and a fast opening/closing Pop up without the necessaity of opening separate pages each time.

This is why editing for playlists is so much simpler.

Issue is that, unfortunately, I don't like to get a mere popup as Clip List, at all. Because:
1 - I like - and I find much more useful - to see all clips listed just in a glance. Having to scroll is cumbersome and you have to waste much more time in order to find what interest you[

I'm sorry but I don't what system you are using. The pop-up usually displays 12 clips for me without scrolling. For older cards in the old version you still had to scroll the clips list to get the full list of clips.

I use a mouse with a scroll wheel - it takes a fraction of a second to scroll the list from top to bottom.

2 - The List popup slows down animations while it's opened. And I keep Clip page always opened while I watch a card.

This is perhaps something the dev's need to look at but they will need more details to assess it.

Personally I do not see this problem and I do not know if anyone else has reported it.

As I already said, I am not against "right click" nor "all in same page" system per se, but I would need also the possibility to open a Full Page (which is, in many ways, much more convenient, fast, user friendly) if user asks to.

I am sorry but I find opening a full page for certain things much more cumbersome.

To provide a dual system of "pop-ups" or "full pages" means more development, more costs and probably more things to go wrong.

I am sure Totem will base their decision on the feedback - not just here but also on Discord where the majority of discussions and Beta testing have taken place.

I surely hope so; my one is and stays totally negative, above all (but not only) about new Detail page.
And I have been seeing lots of other people *****.

From what it can be read on such threads, it even looks like that the few enthusiasts - at least on this forum - are often (and not surprising) to be found among the Beta testers of version 2.0, who might have had a sort of influence for the software to match their own needs and habits, during its development which did last more than an year.

This is of course natural and legitimate - but trying to dismiss as a pure nonsense all habits and needs of the many users who are not satisfied with new version, is simply not so.
