In the past there has only been at most one Special Event for any of the SECs, but they all could subsequently be obtained via the gambling games or by using a joker - presumably it will be the same for this SEC. Some had no special event associated with them so for those gambling or using a joker have been the only options.

No related events to this one. If you don't buy next month's cards upfront or keep the Auto-Add option on for August, the only way to get this card would be by using a "Joker" card or other TGIF games, mainly scratch cards.

The pre-order option is the Special Event for this one. Admittedly its not very special.

Do we have to "pre-order" before August, or can we wait till later in the month and do it retroactively?

I chose to use one of my Jokers, instead of pre-buy, for the new Nici SEC...

There are currently three performers (whose cards are being released in the coming weeks) that I'm not really interested in, so I decided to do it this way.

Subsequently, I'm not a full collection member anymore - at least for the near future. Some very good package deal might change that again :)

I'm pretty sure the Pre Order banner will be up thru next Friday, pre ordering before then will get you the Nici card now.
If you use the Auto-Add option (must upgrade to 1.2.264) thru August, you'll get the Nici card on August 31
I don't think there is a Advent Calendar like option for next month.

I'm in the same boat as you @Dfner - there are at least three girls in the "coming soon" category that do nothing for me, and I have some Jokers so I used one of them. But again like you I am a Premium member so for those girls to join my collection the future deal is going to have to be sweeter than 20%.

La pré-commande d'août consiste à acheter toutes les cartes en août. Si vous achetez avant vendredi prochain, vous obtiendrez la nouvelle carte Nici "Special Event" maintenant. Si vous utilisez l'option Auto-Add le mois prochain, vous obtiendrez la carte Nici le 31 août. Vous devez acheter toutes les cartes en août, vous ne pouvez manquer aucune carte.

Not quite, there is a month's difference in when you get the SEC. This was explained in the original announcement for the offer

What, as yet, is not clear is whether or not you can use the pre-buy offer after Aug 1st. This doesn't affect me as I have already pre-bought but others may want to know. I bring this up because this offer is similar in some respects to the original Advent Calendar in which you could delay participating until the final day of the period covered by the offer.

I find it to be a quite good way to have a clear path in order to get the SEC, instead... so, I would like to get such an offer more often.

I thought I saw that it was written that the offer would start on August 3 and not August 1.

Is this correct?

Because it seemed to me that it was all the cards for the month of August that were in the pre-order, for a total of 31 cards.

If I understand correctly, the free Nici card would be the August 31 card.

So the offer should include 30 purchased cards?

It is All the Cards Released in August.

The cards for August 1st and 2nd will be released on Friday the 31st of July.
( Saturday and Sunday release are done on the Friday prior )

So it Begins with the 1st Card Released IN August, on the 3rd, and Ends with the 29th card released IN August, on the 31st.

It includes 29 cards.

There are only TWO ways to get the SE card.
If you PreBuy you get the SE card when you Buy.

If you AutoBuy all 29 cards, then on the 31st you will get the SE card.

if you Manually buy the cards as they are Released, or you Play Catch up at a later day, you DO NOT get the SE card.

edit 2:
( you can Pre-Order up until the PreOrder offer is removed. any Cards you have manually Bought will reduce the cost of the PreOrder but once the offer is removed you can no longer qualify for the SE card )

It can be had today by PreBuying all the cards in August, or by Using a Joker card.

So I suspect the Offer Expires Early Next Friday Morning, or for the Duration if it is Continued again.

If you Pre-Buy, you get the SE card when you buy.

If you Use Auto-Buy and buy the cards as they are released, then you will get the SE card on Aug 31st.
