That would be the ideal yes, even resleasing 6 months later perhaps but releasing at some point to the general buying base.I agree.
Honestly what in the actual fu ck. Like 8 years with a straightforward business model, only to start doing Fortnight garbage? I'm happy to pay a little extra for actual event cards like that cute harley Quin card a few years back. But don't fuckin" strong arm me into paying for a month's lootbox when all of the models and lineups aren't even announced.
And I mean, I dig Josephine, but seriously, that looks like a standard outfit/card that was decided to be a event card last minute when she got some 5 star ratings.
8 years payin for cards here and this is my first time with a serious complaint, please don't keep this @#*% up. We're adults here, not the 12 year olds EA monetizes.

See that like you. I´ll quit this shitt. Like i stoped buying EA Games. 271,45 Credits and GOOD BYE I Stripper then. Thanks Special Events. (I would pay more but no for RNG Packs or Girls.) Was a nice Time but Good Bye!
I now feel compelled to walk back my rant from yesterday a bit. I still don't dig on the concept of "Special Event" cards. My rant was about making collectors go through the Black Friday obstacle course and the Casino Royale horseshit from two weeks ago. For my purposes, as a full-collection kinda guy, I heartily approve of this weekend's promotion! Personally, I would LOOOOOOVE it if Totem would let us purchase next month's cards in advance EVERY MONTH - even without the additional discount! The additional discount is pretty sweet, though😉 I can certainly understand, however, that Totem isn't necessarily 100% certain how many cards will be made available for purchase for the next 30 to 31 days. I'm not a fan of dangling an otherwise unobtainable card as an incentive to purchase a full month's cards. Personally, as a collector, I would accept such a promotion without the additional cherry on top. Don't get me wrong - I very much appreciate the cherry!
Here's an idea: Instead of offering a month's worth of cards to include a "Special Event" card AND a discount, why not periodically offer a full week's worth of cards with NO discount but with the inclusion of a "Special Event" card for free? I would think that would satisfy both full-collectors and more discerning collectors.
Perhaps this idea (or something similar) has been presented previously. Please forgive me if this is the case. Anyway, What d'ya think?
On the other hand, i decided to never buy credits again, so i'm just here watching the ship go down and having fun on the ride while spending the last credits.Despite many recent things that I don't like, am absolutely not going to leave the product. But I am also seeing more and more such statings on the forum, and am starting to be worried about.
I wish totem would understand that people would invest on patreon blindly if totem would promise improvements to the product like expanded recruiting to north america, western europe, and asia. if they would improve the video quality, costume, performance quality, and props. We would all spend more. This is not going to end well for them or us as they are taking increasing profits while wearing out their fans and not improving their product.
Don't they understand that I can just shrug this card off and go watch 36 hours of Viola, a better looking performer, performing on a better quality card, with better outfits.

no
I don't want cards i don't want, how much simpler can i express this?
As a "bonus" from the scratch and sniff sh!t i have a hand full of low res crap cards i never will watch.
I don't mind special events like that for the steampunk card. No reason to buy into it if you don't want, because the card was made public two weeks later.
And i repeat my argument, if Totem wants to sell cards they should produce good ones. PERIOD.

I see things going as two ways. Either the company is making money hand over fist with these promotions and the the vocal members on the forum are just a vocal minority or they are trying to ***** long members and drive the product out of business. Seeing a have seen team members bend over backwards to make things right and listen to user input, I really don't see option 2 happening. Giving the opportunity as they provide a wonderful product that keeps me out of shady places where one could get robbed or stabbed, Im for a little faith and seeing where this ship heads.
Encore une carte que je n'aurais pas .......
Pas question d'acheter des cartes qui me plaisent pas pour en avoir une qui me plait....
Tant pis pour totem ............
wow...
So this is nefarious and greedy but very common in the online gaming industry
This always ends badly for the company and customers
casual participants notice a drop in quality and an increase in price...
The product becomes an increasingly small pool of large participants who have all special event cards and feel great about themselves
