It makes me not want to watch my Ginebra cards.

Once I realize completing the set is no longer an option I'm less inclined to buy the cards that I'm allowed so I will probably hold off any more Ginebra cards until "Make a Wish" is released and then I'll decide which I want and which I don't need.

Chances of me getting an exclusive has moved from 'slim' to 'never'... hope they include some in an easter or christmas event... with little to no gambling!

Unfortunatelly it's like I told you - no point in discussing anything with the moderators here, as they obviously have an agenda to prove.

Everybody be cool please, a war is not the good solution. As I said in the other thread, we should wait a little bit to see how Totem will dealt this subject.

I repeat my statement to all and it is NOT inflammatory, it is a serious comment.

If ANY member has a serious issue with a moderator, then they have a responsibility to report it to the Totem team.

The Team are the appropriate people to deal with a moderator who is felt not to be behaving correctly. It is not appropriate to mouth off in the forum.

This has been a long standing policy of the forum, but maybe it has been forgotten, in which case it is appropriate to remind people.

That is counter productive and belligerent.

EVERYONE should be held to the standards of the Terms and Conditions set by the forum owners. (IE. Totem Software )

Like all the Special Edition cards nowadays, you will surely be able to get it sooner or later. There are promos coming up many times a year where the special edition cards will be part of the winnings.

I got my Niemira Advent calendar card about a year after it was released as a special edition card. It was released two months before i even knew about iStripper... so I thought it was out of my reach for good.

Can i Just buy Flash Flood without playing the game. I would rather buy it at double the price than play the promotional gambling games. Cause if i don't play the game then i will have to wait for another special event to come up which will be another gambling experience just to win the car. i'm not trying to wait a year or so just to have the card. I just want to buy it outright and be satisfied. Totem should make that possible.

I'm triple diamond and the number of cards locked away from me is now 2. Special Events to me means cards locked away. Nothing special about that.

How would you like it if they removed the 45% discount and gave you the special event cards instead? So if you buy 1000 cards in the future...which is likely...you would spend $2500 without discount. With DDD discount you will pay $1375. So you save $1200+ and even more with reload discount and preview discounts. Totem knows that collectors will buy all cards regarless of discount yet they still provide thousands of dollars of free service. Their newest promotions are attempting to get more people to mass buy, and I don't believe the special event cards are even meant for collectors, they are also meant to entice those that are filling their collections.

I am all for talking about things and I am often critical of totem but the person I responded to said that totem offers "no value for loyalty". That is a slanderous statement as it is utterly untrue and I pointed out a true example of how totem "loses" thousands of $ a year by providing a discount that is based solely on loyalty. With triple diamond if buy 1000 cards then totem gives you a discount of AT LEAST 1200 dollars but actually a little more if you are smart about other discounts. I don't like the special event phenomena but I try to be honest...totem does some things really well, one is istripper, another is their discount system.

Flawed logic if ever I heard it... Totem operates on a business model, they do not "loose" thousands of credits at all. Brand loyalty is built by spending money with the company, putting something on the other side of a pay wall is a good way to drive off customers, thus destroying loyalty. Calling others 'slanderous' for pointing this out is like the pot calling the kettle...

We'll maybe but when they did it was the only way they kept me as a customer. I was used to paying $1 a card then Totem switched to the new credits and substantially raised the prices (250%?) but then they offered the loyalty discount. It made sense but without the discount it would have been to much sticker shock for me. It was a good way to get newer members paying more without rocking the boat with older members. I still think setting a fair price then giving away a free credit after so many purchases is the way to go. I'm not sure I would have bought in at $2.50 a card and when you are new it's a long way to get that discount. Who knows maybe I would have caught a sale that I liked and joined anyways. That's what really started it for me back in the day.
