I'd like to formally request that some New Cage clips be included in 2019
There are 28 to 31 cards produced in a month...
It wouldn't be too often if we saw 4 cards a month, include a couple cage type clips.

Would you like to see new Cage Clips in 2019

Yes,  a few new cage clips would be welcomed.
28%
Yes,  and also a new Swinging Bird Cage design for Cage at top of Screen clips. ( hint )

No,  I don't want any new cage clips.

In the poll I have a middle response...
That is no way an Official question...

I'm Hinting to the Team, that I'd like to See a Bird cage / Swinging Cage for top of the Screen Clips.

I have no Insider knowledge in that regard, so please don't read more in to that poll response than it is just a Hint to the team...

I've always loved the cage for fullscreen scenes.

It stays where it is put and doesn't wander around😉

Unless you put it on a carousel.😉

A swinging cage would probably look great in the Whisper Club scene.

Ummm..I can't vote @WA because I ***** the old style cage with its box like hardtop.
Really clashes with scenes imho.
Just poles in a circle is what I want. :-/
If we can have a velvet swing, why can't we have a topless and bottomless cage.?
A rotating chroma-keyed turntable as a 'newcage' floor might be a swell inclusion too.
Crowdfunding ?

for me it would be nice to see a comeback of the cage. i've always loved them, giving those clips a litte more strip club feeleing.

With hesitation I voted 'No'.

And it bothers me somewhat that I did, because I should have abstained altogether instead. I was not all that fond of the old cage clips. And I do not like the cage idea either. However, that doesn't matter as much as I am in favour of variation. And in order to get more variation I think that a return of the cage deserves some serious consideration from the team.

And what do I know. Perhaps some models would make awesome clips with the cage.

I have reservations about the return of the cage.

1. Memory is funny but iirc last time the cage was around - it ended up in a *lot* of shows.
2. Cost - if the introduction of a new cage mandates that cards using it are more expensive I see that causing more problems than it solves.
3. The cage as often as not seemed like more of a distration on screen, vs a cool part of the show.

That being said, some shows / models worked the cage well I wouldn't mind seeing it come back from time to time (with say the relative frequency of "Glass" shows.)

To me its a variation and any variation is worthwhile from the norm in most cases

I know it's just speculation, but...

I would absolutely NOT be willing to pay an higher price...

While I did vote 'No', and would generally prefer not to have cages, I would've probably picked 'Neutral' had it been an option.

Not sure I'd back the swinging cages though.... swings, while neat, do take up a bit of screen space and a swinging cage would eat up even more. I typically end up removing all swings any time I do a clean install.

No! No! No! I was less than enthusiastic about the previous cage, and would frantically search out the next clip button. Don't want to be doing that any more than I have to.

I like the rare use of the cage. I don't think a pay more for it would be cool. There is enough things once included we seem to pay for at times clothes/masks etc. Sorry just my opinion folks😦 I would hope a better cage size be consistent this time around though.

The cage looks like it was built by someone who also builds traytop trucks.
No style, no polished form whatsoever ;-/
Must have been back in Stan da flasher's day..

LOL...I can say I could see a better form of bars like smaller jail bars. Even topless/bottomless wouldn't be bad. 😀

I would say lighting from above would benefit from it topless too...hmmm

Maybe plexi-glass in the floor for light to show through😵

Now you're cooking..
with a rotate floor like in 'Bare Elegance'

The Cage can have two meanings:
I can mean keeping someone in,
It can mean keeping others out

You have to choose whether either gives you a buzz nodoubt lol

A bird cage wouldn't be bad built with a clear bottom/top too IMO.

Only thing slipperyness concerns😲

Studio wise you would chroma-key mat the floor, sure.
You could even construct the cage, to hide the rotating floor seam methinks..

Yeah but there goes the floor lighting...right ? Unless a clear e-z to clean rubber/gel floor mat is possible. I don't know.

@DANO, you have a point. Totems inadequate lighting obtainable from below has been one of its biggest bugbears.
I would be happy with just some holes in the carpet for mini LED lights..lol

Put the thinking caps on Totem. @Wyldanimal probably knows how to solve this one for sure.

Edit: LED's sounds very doable for alot of light problems👍

@DANO70

Nice.

I did a scene mod for the old Penthouse Club with cages instead of poles.

Thats why I thought they might look good in the club scenes.
