Totem, thank you for producing sales that allow cards to be purchased at a discount. But, I'm starting wonder if there is a team dedicated to perfoming quality control on these TGIF sales prior to releasing them to the entire membership of iStripper? If not, maybe there should be. The repetitve bugs & glitches that plague purchase opportunities especially during the biggest high interest TGIF's is mind boggling. I'm so frustrated that I couldn't do the Pre-order or Collector Cards because of an error code that I'm probably going to pass on remainder of this promotion.

Same here Collector Cards not working. Two events not working for me so far. Hopefully the next one works.

The Collector Card Deal on right now is not working

The last 3 offers I keep getting error code 404.. I already lost on the slot machine I would like to get something out of this event... Fingers crossed.

Wow, have not bought much in ages. This event looked interesting. Another 404. I guess that saves me some money? Was looking forward to coming home from work and keeping an eye on these events this weekend :(

Why the **** does Totem not pay someone some ****** overtime to stick around to ensure that bullshit like this does not happen on the biggest sales event of the year.

I absolutely understand everyone's frustration. I'm a bit frustrated, myself. That said, the post states that bugs may occur and that, when they do, we should reach out to the support team. The post also states that it may take a while for the problem to be addressed (due to high volume) but that it WILL be addressed. Periodically, admins have stepped in to restate the same.

It is highly unfortunate that we are experiencing such a high volume of issues. I assure you, folks, that the good folks at Totem will address these issues, however. I really wanted to participate in the Preorder promo. Alas, it was not to be - AT THAT TIME. So I submitted a ticket explaining my issue (including screenshots). I have absolute faith that the team will will address my issue to my satisfaction. As should all of you.

To summarize, if a promo is not working for you submit a ticket. That will be the best way for your concern to be addressed.

In Canada and U.S. you can always find someone who cares enough about the company to volunteer their time and sometimes without pay to make sure things run smoothly.

There are people who care about customers and then there are others.

Been here since 2007 and it never gets better when it comes to customer service and input except when I need to reset my installs.

I know there are forum members who care more about customer happiness than some of the staff.

I hope the reload offer works for anyone who wants it.

This is why it would be so much simplier to offer across the board discounts for the weekend. Just do 50% for the weekend you'd generate far more income that these promotions filled with glitches.

if I remember correctly and it has been done at least once but it works only if used at unpredictable intervals. If it was used every weekend then we could rely on getting a 50% discount just by waiting four days before purchasing any cards, the sales of cards at full price would plumet and there would be little of no increase in salses for the week to compensate. In general a business will not tell its customers that if they delay buying then they will pay less.

They could just do it during Black Friday weekend, instead of every weekend.

Side note, I don't check iStripper except during Black Friday weekend, so this is basically the only time they can get any money from me.

@HaikenEdge - Totem would have similar though much less extreme problem if they did as you seem to be suggesting. If it was known that it would be done for the next Black Friday then sales would plumet forat least the previous week. The form that almost any iStripper offer will take pretty well has to be unknown until the day it become effective if it is not to badly affect full price sales.

Is it really realistic to expect all users to check in every 2 hours throughout the weekend hoping a bugged promo gets fixed? I can't check in that often due to other life committments; I don't have access to the app at all times.
It was only a fair system if there were no bugged promos. The entire 2 hour duration of several promos resulted in 404, not just some small portion of time.

That said, I don't truly believe there will be adequate compensation for those that failed to participate due to 404 errors, because its a promo, not an entitlement.

So long story short, those of us who won't be checking in too often have simply missed out on some of these promos. I've already stopped following the sale and spending my remaining credits on the regular flash sales
