Sadly, all too true. There is another thread discussing the low scores assigned to shows.
There is a belief that there is some impact by the Advent Calendar subscription.
Those who have that subscription receive all cards until 25 December - whether they want them or not. Because, when they are an advance card, comments and scoring cannot be done - it must wait until the cards appear on the carousel (24 hours later). If they remember.
Those most likely to remember - for a full day, being reminded what happen 24 hours earlier, while waiting for the new advance card - are those who dislike the show, but are stuck with it anyway. So, in that instance, a low score, without comment, is almost a certainty. Those who enjoy the card, are probably waiting on the following night's advance card release. And probably forgot about following up the previous acquisition with a good comment/score!
No-one, who does not have the raw data, will really know. But there are so many cards that usually score well, which are now scored very harshly, there must be something different going on!
I have reported scoring anomalies, for a while - offering screen-captures as proof. However, now, I guess, it is thought that is just what I do. So it is largely ignored!
