Oh! How the forum has changed in the last few months.

I've become so bored with the cheesy, lovey-dovey comments that a minority have posted that I'm losing the will to stay here and contribute.

Add to that, the open ***** against other members and mods, just because their views differ.

It's mainly for these reasons that I've lost interest in posting anything worthwhile. I lost interest in keeping my comic going because I feel there's nobody or very few people interested. This is not the Forum I became a part of a few years ago 😭

Hoping that all will return to normality when the disruptive, trolling types and the prima-donnas who just love to read their own words have gone.

@Mods: Please close or remove this thread at your will. I'm just so pissed off with a few members that I had to open this thread. Sorry. But not so sorry!

I realised the forum was garbage when I pointed out that the quality of the istripper animations had dropped in recent months. I showed images of recent cards that showed that they were blurry and there was issues with the anti-aliasing. A few people concurred with my assessment that they had noticed the same thing. A totem employee stated that there had been no changes, and then the thread died. This forum used to be about making the istipper product better, and communicating with the totem team. Now it is just drivel, arguments, and discussions of the stars. We do not function as a community to help totem improve the product. If a person starts a thread trying to show off something great about totem, few people participate. If a person asks for help in identifying the contents of the card, they get told to just buy the card instead of trying to make a smart buying decision. But if someone starts talking about a transgender God then the thead goes crazy. I've posted 7 threads asking for totem to cast specific girls. Celine responded multple times, positively, saying she would pass it on to casting. 5 of the 7 girls were later casted by totem. Yet everytime I try to recommend a girl, a "mod" comes on and literally ***** me for asking an employee to cast a girl for a product that requires that girls are casted. I've never been on a forum where the mods are so reckless and contribute to the chaos at the level that a "few" contribute on this forum. The final piece of evidence needed to say the forum is garbage, A 1000 people might vote on a casting thread, but only about 12 people ever post in the weekly drivel, that tells me that there are a lot of people that check the news, but are turned off from the discussion.

That sentence make me smiling when I read it😄. I think I know who they are, but can't be sure. I'm thinking about two users matching the description. I would like to kick them out for their BS talking, but I can't 😆

So. Some peeps think I'm a hypocrite. I've stated my beliefs honestly. I haven't attacked an individual by name for a long time. I've done my best to follow the rules of the forum.

What i would like to see is a return to the time of creative people showing off their talents, appreciated by other members and commented on in a positive way.

I started to comment about religion and mysticism when I saw that it was taking over the forum. That, I will fight.

This forum now seems to be ruled by girly comments.

That's interesting, lover of orcs. .

I tell you that Celine is not the casting director and it is not right for you to demand that she respond to every casting suggestion you make and you want to call that *****

I am not very active on the forums. Usually just those odd moments when I am truely bored - such as right now.

So general speaking (not just about this forum) good old fashioned banter based on irony and sarcasm has a hard time due to more and more SJW's getting offended by everything. It is getting more and more difficult to tiptoe your way arounf things these days, especially due to the international nature of the forum, we all come from different cultural backgrounds, some will take offence being called "cunt" while others will take it as the highest cadeau.

Don't take things too serious. We all just come here for the naked birds dancing on our monitors

Thank you for proving my point exactly....

I'm not going to call you a liar....but.....

"It is not right for you to demand that she respond to every casting suggestion you make"

This statement is easily verifiable, but would be very hard for this statement to actually be true. It is quite simple to go through my posts, and impossible to find a single instance where I demand a response. I know it is tempting to use always and never and every, but as a mod I would expect you to be accurate in the evidence you provide in support of your actions. I admit...I should not have posted nude images from non-stripper sources, and I admit I should not have bumped the last 2 threads that I started. Those were against board policy and I have desisted in those activities. But I still reserve the right to post casting requests to the few connections we have to the totem team. And considering by coincidence I have above a 50% success rate, these request are in no way negative, except to cause you frustration. She can and has simply ignored threads that she does not want to respond to...and the thread dies..

Well, I took titling the thread with her name and then bumping a couple until you got a response as demanding a response

I never said your casting suggestions were not good ones

I'll leave it alone if you're willing to make a simple compromise and just title it "Attn: Casting", or something like that, for any future casting suggestions you might have. So as not to give the impression that you might be demanding a response from her. I can assure you that they do see them and will respond if they like her.

That work for you orclover ?

@HombreSinSombra

It seems to me that this forum, like many others, is cyclic in nature. The style of posts and the style of the posters themselves has a turnover. There are a few stalwart individuals who, in my opinion, are the backbone of this community. There are also the “lurkes”, such as myself, who only comment on posts that are of interest to us.

That is the way of forums.

I don't post here very often, mostly just for casting and fan signs. I feel like the hall of fame thing has given rise to a new level vapitidy. There is incentive to spam for a shiny avatar, where before usually just the crazies spammed.

I have the same impression. With this Hall of fame quantity matters, not quality. The last is more difficult to measure.

As do I normally.

I'm stepping back now as I too would like to read what @91 suggested...
