@Number6
Thanks for Sharing your Work.
You put a bit of time and thought into these.

I wanted to share that I renamed some of your Scenes to put them into their own little groups.

Should Give you and the Other Scene Creators some Ideas how to Keep Scenes Group, and to Give some Visual Clue that you Can Double Click to Expand the Tree...

PS. It's okay that you Shamelessly Stole my Starz Idea..
I created my Scene to be used as Examples of what and how to do things.
and to show some more advance / creative uses.

I'm glad you ran with it..

That goes to All of the Members who have created and Shared their Scenes.

Creating 5 new grouping folders for the author, has one drawback which @WA may have overlooked.

If you want to have a "seamless" viewing of all of @Number6's work without leaving fullscreen it cannot be done the way @WA suggested. However if you leave all his SCN's together under ../Scenes/No.6_Scenes as @Number6 intended, you can highlight the
top level folder only ~ which allows you to use right-click of mouse in FS to change his scenes anytime, and view through all his scenes without leaving fullscreen.

@EverythangForever.

The Right click function was the reason I created the small groups...
I want to see the Spaceship Scenes, but as their own little group.

Any Group can use the Right Click Function.

As EverythangForever pointed out, Start Full Screen using the Top Most Group Level.
Then in Full Screen you Can Right Click to Change to a Different Scene that is part of that Group.

What Makes a Group?

The File name is what determines if a Scene is Part of a Group.
If there are Two or more Scenes that Begin with the exact same
File name, a Space and a Dash,
they will form a Scene Group.

Example:

XYZABC - scene 1.scn
XYZABC - scene 2.scn

these will show up on the list as
XYZABC

and expand to
XYZABC
scene 1
scene 2

Example 2:
WyldAnimals Scenes - Starz 1.scn
WyldAnimals Scenes - Starz 2.scn
WyldAnimals Scenes - Starz 3.scn
WyldAnimals Scenes - Colors 1.scn
WyldAnimals Scenes - Colors 2.scn
WyldAnimals Scenes - Colors 3.scn
WyldAnimals Scenes - Colors 4.scn

these will be grouped and show up as
WyldAnimals Scenes

the group will expand to this
WyldAnimals Scenes
Starz 1
Starz 2
Starz 3
Colors 1
Colors 2
Colors 3
Colors 4

Hi @spyke1975.

I apologise but my French extends to ordering a beer and a sandwich. I have used Google Translate for this. I hope it makes sense.

"Only a relatively small number of VG cards have a "swing" in them and they are mainly more recent cards. I hope you don't mind but I have had a quick look at your collection and many of your cards are older cards. I do not think you have any cards that have the swing in them which is why the Atlantis Swing scene does not work. It cannot find any swing clips because you do not yet have any cards with swing clips in them."

"Can I suggest you click on the checkbox by the scene to remove the red "tick" by the Atlantis Swing scene. This will disable it but all the other scenes should continue to work. You can enable it again when you purchase a card that has swing clips in it."

***** This is NOT a new Scene Post *****

I've been involved in a move to a new residence for the past month and recently got some of my computers set up at my new residence (but not all of them yet). So I haven't been doing any scene creation for a while.

Thought I'd post this though, just in case nobody has thought of it.

You can use the Full Screen player in VG to create some interesting Windows desktop backgrounds and slide shows for your desktop (probably for a Mac too, but I'm not sure how a Mac user creates desktop background pictures or slide shows for their desktop).

For a single monitor setup, just use the "S" key while playing Full Screen mode to save a screencap from the Full Screen mode. Then use the Windows "PersonalizationDesktop Background" function to add the screencaps to your Picture Library, and activate the screencaps you want to rotate through as your desktop background pictures (right-click on your desktop and select "Personalize" to open the application).

If you have Multiple Monitors, you can get frisky! Run the VG Full Screen on ONE monitor, then if your multiple monitor setup allows it, you can use that ONE screencap to display on EACH of your multiple monitors across all your monitors.

The example picture above is one of numerous Full Screen scene desktop backgrounds I rotate through (credit to ZZ for the scene he created using 7 instances of the same model clip in the scene). I have several other scene screencaps from many other scenes created by other members here that will do the same thing across my 3-wide multiple monitor setup on one of my computers systems.

You may notice the right part of the scene is "cut off" in the picture. That is because MY 3-wide monitor configuration is controlled by a Matrox "Triple-Head to Go" setup, which turns all three of my monitors into one large wide angle monitor as far as Windows is concerned. And my 3-wide system is 3 16:10 aspect ratio monitors which results in an overall 5040 wide by 1050 vertical screen resolution. But my screencaps were taken from my other computer system that is a 16:9 aspect ratio monitor. So after I resized the vertical height of the screencaps, the horizontal width of them was slightly wider than my 16:10 monitor widths. So I get two full screencaps displayed starting from the left side, then the third screencap is "cut off" a bit on the right side of it. It doesn't bother me, and if you save the screencaps on the same aspect ratio monitor you will display them on across your multiple monitor setup, you won't have to resize the vertical height of them to begin with, and you'll see 3 full screencaps across your multi monitor setup.

(The above picture is a clickable thumbnail. You can click on it to see a slightly larger version, but you will have to scroll it horizontally then).

Just wanted to give kudos to No6 for all his amazing fullscreen files. Thank you for sharing.

Love the idea of using transparency to have the girls appear as holograms in your Spaceship HD files. Although I ***** for their safety as many of them prance out over that grille flooring wearing narrow heels :-)

Your work has inspired me to get creative too, but I'm not sure how long it will take me to get to ones of that standard. Fairly confident with creating backgrounds, and layered images but there's a lot to understand with using camera, lighting and all the other settings that make it come to life.

Well, it didn't ALL go well. The movers dropped my new 6-month "old" 65" HD TV and destroyed it...totally not repairable. We are negotiating the reimbursement yet, as they wanted to only reimburse me the price of a "refurbished" one. I told them that's not gonna happen, as my TV was still under full manufacturer warranty, and I wasn't going to accept only enough payment to buy a replacement that had already been broken and rebuilt. My lawyer had to get involved, but I'm gonna get a brand new TV and not a "refurbished" one after only 6 months paying full price for a new one.

In the meantime, I don't have my computers hooked up to a big screen TV to watch VG on. I'm pissed right now! ;-)

If you tell the mover's insurance the incident is gonna be posted up on several internet discussion boards along with the company name...they usually come good ;)

Being insurers you will probably have to sign something absolving them of any further liability , but hey, if you get the full cheque its all good !

is their any command prompt for having a video to be played in the back ground? or the command to override the command that disallows more than one of a vg to play unless she has a duo.

Hi @bdconm7 welcome,
So far, there is no way to play a video file eg: mpeg, quicktime movie, wmv or even an animated gif in fullscreen mode. Fullscreen is a bit like screensaver. The scene files tell the program what still images like jpeg or png will be loaded into memory and how they will be displayed as backgrounds. Also the scene file code tells the program how to size, set transparency & move images left/right /up/down and in/out with different lighting effects.

The vg animations (girls) are clipsprites positioned on the screen according to how many models the scene author/user wants in the scene. Every scene file xxxx.scn can call one or more models by you entering the code for each clipsprite animation its reflections and shadows separately down the scene file's code page.

All images overlap the others depending on the sequence you choose to write in their clipsprite codes. Entries written down the page overlap all sprites (images) written in sequence above them.

There is no dynamic ability to edit a scene file's code while the scene is running and see it change. You always have to make changes (open xxx.scn with notepad ) ~ save the xxx.scn file again, and rerun the scene to see any code change effects. I hope that makes sense, if not @WyldAnimal will be able to explain your needed answers better.

One Sceney thing I would like to see changed in the new VGPlayer version, is an ability to keep the same model running while changing scenes.

Say one made several scenes of the same background, except all have different closeness of the model to the camera.(easy to do using z-axis setting for clipsprite &/or Camera z-axis setting)

Then by putting all these scenes in a group (same name prefix space hyphen space ) and by right-clicking in fullscreen, one could scroll through these differently zoomed scenes to suit the mood/music without the model's animation clip restarting, as it does now. It would also help get around the kneeling height vs leg drape model size compromise for many people's taskbar clip scenes like 'ahighwall'.

thanks for the kind words @JeB1952. Art-porn-art-games-sexuality. There are no clear boundaries anymore, and for Totem, I hope less of the stripclub 'box' will be required one day only hiding away enjoyment of music & pleasure in womens' beauty. Thats what I think contributors have tried to show anyway..more freedom.

Thanks @86linyqu. We all learn from each other's work. StarryK kicked off with PPC, Zebrazuk taught me floodlights and multiple models, Wyldanimal taught me animations & sprites, yidincrete & no.6 inspired more lighting and fractals approaches. I'm working on fullscreen panoramas around a stage point at the moment. Its great fun to experiment what works !

I started to Share My Scenes in that Thread...
With detailed Comments that I placed in the Scene files.

Starryk used what I had posted there to Start this Thread.

There are TWO types of Full Screen Scenes.

3D Scenes - Which is the Type everyone in this Thread work on..

and 2D Scenes - that use the Power of Open GL to create live visualizations.

So Far I believe I'm the only one to have shared any 2D scene Creations.

I first thought that the Shared Fractal Scenes might be 2D open GL, but these are 3D scenes with Static Backgrounds, using lighting changes.

Glad you Enjoy the member created Scenes, and I hope it might inspire you to create and Share your own.

@Wyld.. Just a couple of questions:

Who actually compiled (authored) the PPC scene, graphics and layout etc., Was it Totem Team ? ..& can they/you do some more scenes illustrating live visualizations in 2D open GL ?

Is there any proper way to write code to stop (suspend) any 3D animation for a given range of seconds in a sequence while it is running in FS.?

do you think we will we ever be able to use something like java scripts in scene files ?

I have been tinkering with 2D scenes in what little spare time I have right now. I've nothing I can share right now though as I created them all for my 4K screen so they're kind of... BIG. Plus as I'm sure Wyld will note I'm using some of his shaders as all I got trying to figure out how to make my own was a headache,.;-)

The top one has an uninterupted sliding background, the second has changing pictures in each quadrant, the third has a different shader in each quadrant. On my screen each quadrant is 1920x1080.

If there's any real interest in these maybe I'll post them, but only with Wylds permission will I share the one with shaders. They do scale to whatever screen size you have though so those with less res could run them, I just suspect they may be a little more demanding on your system as a result.

It's actually the elements that I think will be the limiting factor. I tried the scenes at 1920x1080 and they looked almost exactly the same as at 3840x2160. But for example, the slider background image is at 15360x2160 pixels. You could just resize it in half I suppose to relieve some of the strain. FS will always scale whatever you give it to fit the screen from what I've seen. I'll think about sharing them, but I'd ***** to be accused of computer elitism again due to my demanding scenes.;-)

If we can make the original into 50% on our computers, the slider scene also will be very nice to have... Its not ELITISM, its just a good-awful rush..I figure if members can show what can be done with 2D or 3D now, it might give ToTeam some ideas about how to make re-coding scenes easier for everyone before the new Alpha .;-))
